本研究は、現在の精神科病棟文化を記述し、その構造を明らかにし、その文化をより治療的な文化に変化させるために、看護が果たす役割を示唆することが目的である。本研究の理論的枠組としてはBionの集団理論を用いた。研究方法には参加観察法を用いた。研究の対象となった病棟は、公立精排り丙院、民間精神病院のそれぞれ1病棟、総合病院の精神科病棟の3病棟である。分析は、データ収集と同時に行われ、まず、病棟の社会的文脈を明らかにし、その文脈を持って、データから意味づけできる文化の最小単位を抽出し、精神力動論的視点からそれらのつながりを構成しなおした。その結果、得られた精神科病棟文化について、その構造を検討し看護の果たす役割について考察した。本研究の結果、以下の結論が得られた。(1)精神科病棟文化を構成する要素として、病棟の目標、病棟メンバーが共有する信念、情緒とその現れである行動様式、病棟の一連の体系の4つが明らかになった。(2)精神科病棟文化の共通する構造として、各病棟の目標を達成しようとする動き、つまり患者の自立を目指した治療や看護の活動は、患者やスタッフが共有する信念や情緒により妨げられ、病棟の一連の体系はその二つの間の葛藤を回避する形で作り出されていくことが明らかとなった。その結果、一方で患者の自立を目指していながら、一方で患者の依存を満たすところが共通してみられた。(3)治療的環境を整えるための看護者の役割として、まず、病棟文化の構造を理解することが必要である。また看護婦は集団の中に普遍的に生じるリーダーを求める情緒を理解し、その上で病棟リーダーとしての機能を果たすことが必要である。最後に、看護婦は患者たちが病棟集団に投影している不安を緩和するために、患者同士の交流を高めそこから得られる集団の力を用いることが必要であると考えられた。

The effect of fluctuating stress on the fatigue strength of type 304 stainless steel in air at 288°C was examined. In any of the 2 step increasing stress, 2 step decreasing stress, repeated 2 step stress (high to low), repeated 2 step stress (low to high) and gradual increasing stress, the cumulative usage factor calculated based on the linear damage law exceeds 1. In the 2 step increasing or decreasing stress, the usage factor for the decreasing stress type is larger than the increasing stress type. On the other hand, the cummulative usage factor for the repeated 2 step stress (low to high) is larger than the repeated 2 step stress (high to law), and the usage factor increases with increasing number of cycles at the first stress. The smaller the difference between the first stress and the second stress, the larger the usage factor. In the gradual increasing stress, the usage factor increases with increasing number of cycles at each stress.

目的:大都市における高齢者の見守られ意向および見守られたい相手の関連要因を明らかにすることを目的とする.方法:対象は5町内会の65歳以上の高齢者とした.無記名自記式質問紙を用いて,個人属性,町内の人との交流,見守られの現状,見守られへの期待と心配,見守られることに対する意識を調査した.関連要因の分析は,χ2検定,Fisherの直接確率検定を用いた.結果:回収数は526部,有効回答数は511部だった.74.0%に見守られたい意向があった.住民から見守られたいという希望は,安心感の獲得と人とのつながりの期待が有意に高かった.介護や保健医療の専門職の希望は,生活の維持への期待が高かった.生活支援サービスや機器によるシステムの利用希望は,他者からの干渉と相手を信頼できないことの心配が高かった.考察:高齢者は見守る側との関係性を考慮し,見守られへの期待と心配の内容により見守られたい相手を選択していると考えられる.

運動療法は,施術直後より関節可動域を増大し,疼痛を早期に軽減させ病悩期間を短縮するものの,その効果について定量的な評価を行った研究は少ない。本研究では,術者が行う顎関節可動化療法と患者が行う自己牽引療法を1つの運動療法プログラムとして捉え,非復位性関節円板前方転位症例に実施した際の短期的治療効果を検討した。顎関節機能に中等度以上の障害が認められた45例を対象として運動療法を施行し,初診時とその約2週間後の初回再来時における臨床症状(最大開口域,安静時痛,開閉口時痛,咀嚼時痛および日常生活支障度)について評価した。その結果,最大開口域,開閉口時痛,咀嚼時痛および日常生活支障度において有意な改善を認めた(p<0.001)。これら症状の改善は,運動療法により関節可動域が改善され,関節腔が拡大されることで下顎頭の動きが改善したものと考える。したがって,本運動療法プログラムは,非復位性関節円板前方転位に伴う諸症状を短期間に軽減させる有効な保存療法になる可能性が示唆された。

綺麗な文字を書くということに日本人の多くは興味を持っていると考えられる.さて,綺麗な文字とはどのような文字だろうか?本研究では,人の手書き文字をフーリエ級数展開によって数式化し,その式の平均を計算することによって,平均的な文字を生成することを可能とした.また,その平均文字を利用した実験により,実際に書いた文字よりユーザの平均的な文字が高く評価されること,ユーザの平均文字より全体としての平均文字が高く評価されることを明らかにした.さらに,ほとんどの人が自身の文字を高く評価する傾向があることも明らかにした.Almost Japanese are interested in handwriting beautiful characters. Here, what is beautiful handwritten character? In this paper, we proposed a method to generate average handwritten characters by using Fourier series expansion. Then, an experimental test showed that user's average characters are more beautiful than user's handwritten characters. Another test showed that average characters of users are more beautiful than each user's average characters and that almost all users evaluate own average characters highly.

乳酸菌の中にビールを濁らせる菌と濁らせない菌が存在し, その形質がホップ耐性の有無と密接に関連することは以前から知られていたが, 筆者らは最新の遺伝子組替え手法を駆使してホップ耐性を司る遺伝子を特定した。これまで不明であったホップ耐性の機構解明のみならず, 現場的な微生物管理にも応用可能であり, 今後の展開が期待される研究である。

In order to establish the molecular taxonomy of the genus Rhizopus, all described species of the genus were collected and the nucleotide sequences of the internal transcribed spacer of the rRNA gene (rDNA ITS), actin, and translation elongation factor 1α (EF-1α) were determined. Quantitative real-time PCR revealed that R. americanus had a R. stolonifer-type ITS sequence as the dominant sequence type, although it had three different types of ITS sequences in a single genome. Phylogenetic analysis and gene genealogy concordance phylogenetic species recognition (GCPSR) identified eight species in the genus, whereas recent morphological taxonomy includes 10 species. R. niveus is proposed to be re-classified as R. delemar, and R. sexualis and R. americanus are re-classified as R. stolonifer.

The fire detection is very important to prevent a secondary disaster and to save the assistance for safe driving in the master plan of ITS. At present, the fire detectors, which have a high sensitivity, are used in order to detect the fire in tunnels. It has problems such that the detection area is very narrow and sensor head is fouled by exhaust fumes. Compared with the fire detectors, image sensor is suitable to detect the fire, because it can cover two-dimensional wide space. We had attempted elsewhere the fire detection, which compares two histograms with various shades of gray level, by means of image processing. However, there remained problems about the influence of passing vehicle in the actual outdoors environment. The flame has characteristic such that its state is unstable and repeats growth and decay. A new approach toward the fire detection based on fluctuation of the flame has been described in this paper. Conventional fire detectors could detect only a phenomenon of the fire. However, proposal method could detect not only the flame but also its position. We conducted simulation and field tests to verify the accuracy of this method, and confirmed the effectiveness.
