本研究は認知的/非認知的能力と学業成績の関係を検討した。70 名の女子大学生が順唱、逆唱、語音整列、謎かけ、類推テストの5 つの認知的テストを受けた。非認知的能力を検査するために、エゴグラムが実施された。認知的能力に関する結果は、短期記憶を測る順唱、ワーキングメモリを測る逆唱と語音整列は学業成績と有意な相関がなかった。謎かけと類推テストも学業成績と有意な相関がなかった。エゴグラムの2 つの状態が学業成績と有意な相関があった。FC(フリーチャイルド)は学業成績と負の相関があった。FC は規則や制限に注意を払わず、自然の本能に従う。他方で彼らは無邪気でイマジネーションに溢れ、強い好奇心を持つ。しかし彼らはまた自己中心的で感情的である。A(アダルト)状態は学業成績と少しだけ有意な相関があった。A は物事を事実に基づいて合理的に考える。以上より、誘惑を適度に抑えて欲求を制御し、長期計画に基づいて合理的判断を下すことが、学業成績を向上させる上で必要であると結論づけられた。学業的満足遅延(ADOG)が言及された。The present study examined the relationship between cognitive/non-cognitive ability and academic grades. 70 first-year female undergraduates has conducted 5 tests of cognitive ability such as Digit-Span, Backward Digit Span, Letter-Number Sequencing, Particular Type of Riddle, and Analogy Test. To assess non-cognitive ability, Egogram(EG)test was conducted. The results on cognitive ability showed that Digit Span, evaluating short-term-memory, and Backward Digit Span as well as Letter-Number Sequencing, evaluating working memory, did not indicate significant correlation with academic grades. Particular Type of Riddle and Analogy Test also did not have correlation with academic grades neither. Two states of Egogram had significant relation with academic grades. FC(Free Child)had a significant negative correlation with academic grades. "FC" pays no attention to rules and constraints, and has natural instincts. On the one hand, they are innocent, full of imagination and have strong curiosity, but they are also self-centered and emotional. A(Adult)state indicated a slight significant correlation with academic grades. "A" judges things on the basis of facts rationally. It was concluded that controlling desire to temptation properly and rational judgment based on long-term prospect are necessary to improve academic grades. The Academic Delay of Gratification(ADOG)was mentioned.

1.解像特性は, 同一インチモードにおいてもアイリス径とピクセル値がそれぞれ大きくなると低下することがわかった.このことは, I.I.への入射線量の増減により解像特性が変化することを意味する.aアイリス径を一定に保ち, 入射線量を増すとピクセル値が上昇し解像特性が低下する.bピクセル値を一定に保つためにアイリス径を広くし, 入射線量を減ずると解像特性が低下する.すなわち, 高い解像特性の画像を得るためには, アイリス径を絞り, 低いピクセル値となるような線量で撮影する.逆にあまり高い解像特性を必要としない場合, アイリス径を広くすることによって被曝低減が可能である.2.低線量撮影により, ルーチンに小焦点(0.2mm)撮影が可能である.このため, 小焦点拡大撮影の技法が応用でき, S/Fに匹敵する解像特性の有する画像が得られる.3.ノイズに関して, 線量の低減によって量子モトルが増加し, ディジタルWSは上昇した.そして, 同時に低コントラスト被写体検出能の低下も顕著であった.また, ノイズ特性は, 解像特性と密接な関係があるため, アイリス径や, ピクセル値によっても異なる.このように, I.I./TV-DRの場合, 入射線量と解像特性とノイズ特性の間には, 複雑な関係があり, これらの特性を熟知したうえで撮影目的にあったDR装置のパラメータの設定, 線量, 撮影方法を決定する必要がある.

Somatic pink mutation frequencies in the stamen hairs of Tradescantia BNL 02 clone grown for 76 days in two soil samples taken from the Bikini Island (where a hydrogen bomb explosion test had been conducted in 1954) were investigated. A significantly high mutation frequency (2.58±0.17 pink mutant events per 103 hairs or 1.34±0.09 pink mutant events per 104 hair-cell divisions) was observed for the plant grown in one of the two Bikini soil samples, as compared to the control plants (1.70±0.14 or 0.88±0.07, respectively) grown in the field soil of Saitama University. The soil sample which caused the significant increase in mutation frequency contained 6,880±330 mBq/g 137Cs, 62.5±4.4 mBq/g 60Co, and some other nuclides; a 150 μR/hr exposure rate being measured on the surface of the soil sample. The effective cumulative external exposures measured for the inflorescences of the plant grown in this soil sample averaged at most 60.8 mR, being too small to explain the significant elevation in mutation frequency observed. On the other hand, internal exposure due to uptake of radioactive nuclides was estimated to be 125 mrad (1.25 mGy) as an accumulated effective dose, mainly based on a gamma-spectrometrical analysis. However, it seemed highly likely that this value of internal exposure was a considerable underestimate, and the internal exposure was considered to be more significant than the external exposure.

粘膜モデルによる細胞回復度試験法を開発する目的で、粉末状の接着性モノマー4種ならびに液状のMMAとTEGDMAについて、2種の市販モデルを用いて細胞回復させた.また7種の溶媒に各モノマーを溶解させた従来の細胞回復度試験も行った.その結果、市販モデルを用いた方法による細胞回復度試験は可能で、試験したモノマーの細胞回復度を得ることができた.一方、溶媒を用いた従来の細胞回復度試験では変動の大きい細胞回復度であり、培養液に難溶性もしくは不溶性の細胞毒性試験について検討を要することがわかった.

本報告では、構造活性相関 (SAR) データベースからのSAR転移、ならびに、引き続く構造推薦に基づく新規医薬候補化合物設計手法について述べる。本法は、1)SAR探索中の化合物群ならびに参照SARデータベースからのMatched Molecular Series (MMS)解析、2)化合物骨格及びSAR類似性に基づく類縁MMSの解析、そして、3)新規化合物の構造発生と協調フィルタリングに基づく活性推算の三段階にて構成される。第二段階では、ネットワーク解析に基づき、直接的あるいは潜在的な類縁MMSの検出が可能となる。本法を血液凝固活性化第十因子阻害剤探索に遡及適用した結果、常法的な定量的構造活性相関手法と比較し、高い精度で化合物活性を推算することが示された。更に、本法により、タンパク-リガンド複合体の構造情報を用いず、SAR情報のみを基に、指定するリガンドの部分構造に代替して同一のタンパクポケット領域を占有する部分構造が推薦されることが示された。

A both-sided ironing process for simultaneous ironing of the outer and inner wall surfaces of deeply drawn cans has been developed successfully. The new process produces ring grooves in the can wall by vibrating the inner die along the ironing direction. The up-and-down motion of the inner die changes the ironing condition between the inner die and the outer die to continuously form ring grooves in the wall of ironed cans. The frequency of the vibration of the both-sided ironing process is set at about 4∼6 c⁄min. The profile of ring grooves in the ironed can wall is found to be influenced by the height difference between the outer and inner dies and the amplitude of the vibration. In particular, the greater the amplitude of vibration, the greater the depth of the ring grooves. The bent part of the ring grooves formed by the both-sided ironing process using vibration is the unique point of lowest strength. An ironed can with ring grooves in the wall can be easily squashed by a relatively small force.

筆者らはインターネット上に存在する大規模プレゼンテーション動画を対象に、視聴者らが受けるであろう印象を推定する試みを行っている。本稿では、新たにword2vecを用いた文書特徴、および音の強さやテンポの取り方と言った音声特徴を用いた印象推定について報告する。これにより、従来の内容・構文分析よりも高い精度で印象推定が行えることを確認した。
