本論文では,コンパッション(compassion)の思想を検討する.コンパッションは,これまで社会福祉界では,啓蒙的な意味のスローガンのように主張されることはあっても,十分に学術的に議論されることはなかった.本論では,感傷的主張を排して,その概念を語源的,哲学思想的に議論を展開する.まず語義およびルソーの自然感情としての議論,ニーチェの「同情の禁止」という批判を取り上げる.そのうえでキリスト教思想がコンパッションをどうとらえているのかについて,古典ギリシャ語のスプランクノンσπλαγχνον「腸がちぎれる想い」という概念にその語源を求め,特にヘンリ・ナウエンの「弱さ」とコンパッションの先駆的研究を吟味する.そして現代におけるアレントのコンパッション論を検討したうえで,最終的にコンパッションが閉じられた関係ではなく,開かれた公共空間という場所のなかで位置づけられる意義を主張する.以上により,コンパッションを福祉原理の根源として位置づけその意義を検討する.

本研究は,2000年代における水産物購入における「平均化」の進展状況と都市間での購入構成のばらつきを考察することを目的とする.考察の結果,水産物の購入構成に関しては,特にサケなど主要な生鮮魚介については,2000年代においても都市間の差異がより大きい過去の傾向に戻らなかった.購入構成が類似する都市は,三つの類型,六つの下位区分に整理された.このグループは過去の傾向を踏襲しており,水産物の購入構成の観点からみた「地域差」と分布傾向は2000年代においても継承されていた.

This study tries to explain the development and types of villas in Japan (1860'-1940') for the period as the influence of the Western society. For this purpose, historical records on each resort area, owner of villas, locations and plans of villas are analyzed. This study revealed 1) the evolutional process of villas in the Kanto region, 2) the factors which caused such development, and 3) the grouping of villa types in Japan (1860'-1940') on the base of the locations and the purposes of possession.

研究の目的 本研究は、加害恐怖を主訴として来院した高齢のクライエントに対して、買い物に関連する行動の生起頻度等を指標として、曝露反応妨害法による介入を行い、その効果を検討することを目的とした。研究計画 行動間マルチベースラインデザインを用いた。場面 精神科クリニックにおけるカウンセリングルームと近隣の店で実施した。参加者 介入開始時72歳の女性で、強迫性障害と診断されていた。介入 セッション中に、コンビニや薬局に入店し、素手で商品を手に取るよう求めた。その後、セッション中に、駐車されてある車のすぐ傍を一人で通るよう求めた。行動の指標 スーパーやコンビニ、薬局等に入店した累積頻度、店内で購入した商品数、新聞を読んだページ数、一人で自宅から店まで徒歩で行った累積頻度、確認の電話をかけた頻度を指標とした。結果 スーパー等に入店した累積頻度、購入した商品の数、新聞を読んだページ数、一人で自宅から店まで徒歩で行った累積頻度はいずれも増加した。また、確認の電話をかけた頻度は減少した。結論 本事例で行った介入が、加害恐怖を訴えるクライエントの行動レパートリーを増やすために有効であることが示された。

We usually measure blood pressure of hemiparetic stroke patients with the intact upper arm. It is unclear whether the values of blood pressure of the paretic arms are higher or lower than those of the intact contralateral arms. Simultaneous measurements of blood pressure of bilateral arms of stroke patients were carried out using two automatic manometers in the present study.Subjects were forty-seven stroke patients in chronic phase. Thirty patients were diagnosed as cerebral hemorrhage and seventeen were the patients with cerebral infarction. Twenty patients had right hemiparesis and twenty-seven patients were with left hemiparesis. The patients were supine position for fifteen minutes before measurement of blood pressure. Blood pressure of bilateral arms was determined by inflating simultaneously cuffs after these of the two automatic manometers (TAKEDA MEDICAL, UA-254) attached to the both sides. Measurements were performed three times successively every minute, the manometers were changed with each other and three more determinations were carried out. The mean values for these six measurements were compared in each side of the paretic and intact arms. For the comparison of the thickness of each arm, we measured the circumference of bilateral arms at the 5cm proximal point from the elbow joint. P value of <0.05 was considered significant.Blood pressure of the paretic arm was 131±3mmHg (mean ± SE) in systolic and 83±1mmHg in diastolic. Blood pressure of the intact arm was 129±3mmHg in systolic and 78±1mmHg in diastolic. Both systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the paretic arm were significantly (p<0.01 and p<0.001 respectively) higher than those of the intact arm. The circumference of the paretic arm did not differ from that of the intact arm (21.6<0.3cm versus 21.9<0.3 cm).Because we have often observed muscle atrophy or edema in paretic extremities of stroke patients, the difference of blood pressure could be expected between the paretic and intact arm. In this study, both systolic and diastolic blood pressure of the paretic arm were higher than those of the intact arm. The difference of blood pressure does not seem to arise from unfitness of width of manometer's cuff for arm thickness since the thickness of paretic arm did not differ from that of intact arm.

Anisakis幼虫I型,Terranova幼虫A型の学名がAnisakis simplex larva, Pseudoterranova decipiens に変更されたので後者に起因する疾患名をpseudoterranivasisとする.1988年5月まで本邦で発生した総アニサキス症は11,777例に達した.日本近海における延長宿主の変遷の結果北方でpseudoterranovasis 南方でanisakiasisの発生が増加した.腸アニサキスの診断はなお精密に行うべきである.魚介生食,臨床症状の幾つかの組合せで殆ど確実であるが両疾患を鑑別するには単クローン抗体を用いた血清免疫学的検査によるべきである.両幼虫の種別特徴相違と,幼虫の人組織障害性構成物についても述べた.これらの疾患の予防にはオランダの冷凍法の法規制を学ぶべきであるが,日本では魚生食の習慣が根強く非常に困難である.しかしわれわれ日本の医師は他の予防法についても追及すべきである.

目的:本研究は,産業看護職のコンピテンシー尺度を開発し,信頼性・妥当性を検証することを目的とした.方法:産業看護職375 名に無記名自記式質問紙調査票を配布し,回収数211(回収率56.3%)を分析対象とした.まず,我々が事前の研究で明らかにした40 項目を基に項目分析, 因子分析を行い,尺度項目を決定した. 次に,これらの表面妥当性,構成概念妥当性,基準関連妥当性,信頼性を検証した.結果・考察:36 の項目が尺度項目として決定され,すべてで通過率が97%を超えていたことから表面妥当性が検証されたと考える.また,因子分析の結果抽出された「産業看護を遂行する力」「創出する力」「自己成長する力」はコンピテンシーの条件と一致したことから構成概念妥当性は担保され,尺度合計点数と産業看護経験年数との相関がr=0.318 であったことから基準関連妥当性も示唆されたと考える. クロンバックα係数は3 つの因子すべてが0.9 以上だったことから信頼性が検証されたと考える.結論:我々が開発した産業看護職のコンピテンシー尺度は,信頼性・妥当性が検証された.

Until the discoveries of huge pyrochlore deposits in Brazil and Canada in 1950's, both Nb and Ta had been extracted from Tantalite or Columbite using by solvent (MIBK) extraction technique.Using by the above pyrochlore resources, more than 95% of niobium products, such as Fe-Nb, various grade of oxides (technical, optical etc.) and Nb-metal are produced at present.The application of niobium to steels, optical glass, electronic component, superalloys, refractory metals, superconducting materials and catalysts are discussed in this paper. On the other hand, tantalum has no bright future even though Ta-condencer, cemented carbide and super-anti corrosive materials are stable and reliable markets, so that the total comsumption of Ta in the world to be remaining about 1, 600t in Ta205 during a few years. The consumption of niobium will increase in the field of electronics, superalloys, catalyst, however in true we cannot expect it too much in steel industry.

The Sumitomo Zaibatsu, one of the biggest business groups in Japan, has frown uninterruptedly since the Meiji Restoration. The key factor of its growth may be found in its unique leaders-recruitment policy.This paper introduces many of its leaders and analyzes the recruitment and personnel policy of the Zaibatsu.

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to investigate the root canal morphology of extracted two-rooted second mandibular molars. Seventy-seven two-rooted mandibular second molars were used. Gutta-percha point was inserted into the root canal after root canal preparation by a standardized method. Transparent specimens were made from the test teeth and the root canal morphology was evaluated on images taken with a digital microscope. As for the mesial root, 70.1% were two-root canals, whereas for the distal root 88.3% were single-root canals. Although two-rooted mandibular second molars have a simple root canal configuration, in some cases the root canal system is complex, so careful root canal detection is necessary.

オキシトシン(OXT)は,分娩や射乳反射だけではなく,様々な調節(鎮痛,不安,信頼,絆,社会的認知,向社会的行動,骨・骨格筋)に関わることが報告されている.我々は加齢とOXTの関係を明らかにするために,OXT-monomeric red fluorescent protein 1(mRFP1)トランスジェニックラットを用いて下垂体後葉(PP),視索上核(SON),室傍核(PVN)におけるOXT-mRFP1蛍光強度の加齢変化を調べた.その結果,加齢群でPP,SON,PVNでのmRFP1の集積増加と視床下部でのウロコルチン増加を認めた.また増化したウロコルチンはOXTニューロンにほぼ共発現していた.今後,加齢とOXT発現の機序が解明されることにより,高齢者のサルコペニアや孤独/社会的孤立の予防にも役立つ可能性がある.OXTの加齢との関係を含めて文献をもとにこれまでの知見をまとめ概説した.

Cormac McCarthy's Blood Meridian, or the Evening Redness in the West has been highly evaluated as a counter-history of the borderland, or as an epic novel. A number of critics, however, have pointed out its lack of ethical substance due to its abundant descriptions of violence, blood, and death. This essay examines the thematics of violence, and reinterprets BM as a work of fiction that explores the whereabouts and possibility of ethics in the postmodern and in the posthuman. The kid's characterization as a mother-killer is associated with the violence of American historiography, reflecting the rhetoric of America's expansion as biological development. It, in turn, defies the conventions of the Western-Bildungsroman genre: the building of American character through frontier experiences. Thus, BM foregrounds ontological problems of human existence and free will in the apocalyptic borderland. The desert in BM functions as a topos in which the judge practices his hyper-rational, hyper-nihilistic violence, which relativizes every system of values to the single purpose of life: "war," that is, "the truest form of divination." The kid, the judge's biggest rival, rejects being a subject of the "war," and, as a result, is cannibalized by the judge himself (not as a sacrifice for the common good or belief). His death, however, is presented as the unrepresentable, which demonstrates that this death itself is not usurped by the judge, who attempts to be the suzerain of the earth. The biggest dilemma the story presents is the kid's rejection of opportunities to kill the judge by exercising his own violent nature. This, paradoxically, leads to the possibility of a counter-ethics that continues to reject the judge's philosophy of violence. The counter-ethics (in the posthuman), in this sense, might be represented as one always already in a germinal stage, as shown in the epilogue.
