In Kanazawa Institute of Technology (KIT) , students are taking a lecture on Creative Experiment as a basic practical skill subject. The aim is the training of independently acting and thinking individuals. Attendance students devise an experiment theme themselves and are designing the experiment for measuring the factor which influences a phenomenon. In this report, the instance for which a student utilized patent information as references in the design of an experiment is introduced, and it discusses about the literature information which a teacher should show to students further.

Medical staff, including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, laboratory medical technologists, social workers, and case managers, should act as a team to support patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. The therapeutic purpose of a potent cocktail of anti-HIV drugs is to maintain undetectable plasma levels of HIV over the long term. To achieve this, it is necessary to maintain treatment compliance. However, noncompliance frequently occurs because of a poor understanding of HIV therapy or difficulty in taking anti-HIV drugs. Thus pharmacists should contribute as HIV medical team members by providing medication counseling to ensure treatment compliance or delivering drug information to achieve successful HIV therapy. We describe the roles of pharmacists on HIV medical teams at Ehime University Hospital in examples of nutritional disorder or pregnant women with HIV.

本研究は蓄積されたデータを用いて、消費者行動論から小売業者が値引きを実施するタイミングと値引き幅を決定するための手法を開発するものである。本年度は平成14・15年度の研究成果の報告と研究の深耕を進めた。研究成果の報告ではカテゴリー内需要のモデル化研究、消費者異質性に着目した商圏エリア分類方法に関する研究成果の報告がなされた。研究の深耕では、値引き最適化の理論的研究と実証分析が進められた。ここではメーカーのブランド利潤最大化のための卸売り価格決定、小売業のカテゴリー利益最大化のための小売価格決定、消費者個人の効用最大化のためのブランド選択、という3つの経済主体による意思決定問題についての理論的枠組みと数理モデルの構築を行った。さらに集計されたPOSデータを用いてモデル・パラメータを推定するための手法の開発を行い、実際の小売店の集計されたPOSデータを用いた分析が行われた。提案されて手法は小売業者の値引きを含む価格決定問題であり、小売業者だけでなくメーカーの行動も考慮している点に特徴がある。本研究は、消費者行動論的な個別消費者の行動に関する研究と、オペレーションズ・マネジメント的な最適化手法の両者を結びつけたものである。本研究では小売業者が蓄積した商品別販売データ、顧客購買データ等を利用した値引き最適化を行うために必要ないくつかの手法を開発し、小売業の収益性改善のための意思決定方法も示した。本研究での成果をいくつかの研究会で産学界からの参加者と議論した結果、本研究で示された理論および手法に対する関心も高く、データをもとにした価格決定手法と利益配分決定方法については今後とも産業界での必要性が高いとの認識で一致した。

包装による食品の劣化防止法は、近年の工業技術の進展による多機能を有する包装資材の開発により利点が多い重要なものとなった。反面、これらプラスチック類のごみ問題も放置できないものとなった。そこで、食品に求められる包装材の機能を食品学の立場から見直し、食品の品質低下を抑制できる最小限の機能を持ち再生しやすい包装資材を検討する基礎的データを得る事を目的とした。包装により遮断可能な劣化要因のうち透明プラスチックフィルムが遮断しにくい光に着目し、劣化作用が大きい紫外線が食品の品質に及ぼす影響を検討した。脂質モデルとしてリノール酸メチルを用い、3種の波長の紫外線を照射し生成した過酸化物を高速液体クロマトグラフィーで分離、定量した。その結果、波長が短い程、過酸化物の生成も分解も速いことが分かった。次に、β-カロチン、ヘモグロビン、クルクミン、インジゴカ-ミンに対し脂質と同様の紫外線照射実験を行い退色度を測定したところ、カレ-粉の色素クルクミンは365nmの紫外線でも退色がみられ、波長が短い程退色が激しかった。そこで、クルクミンの退色に対し、365nmの紫外線をカットする機能があるフィルムの防止効果を検討した。その結果、365nmの紫外線に対する退色防止効果が明かとなったが、蛍光灯のもとでは、効果が見られなかった。更に、実際の食品として匂いが大切なすりごまを取り上げ、4種のフィルムで包装して1カ月間保存し、ガスクロマトグラフィーにより香気成分を分析し、含有脂質を超音波をかけて抽出後その過酸化物価を測定した。アルミラミネートフィルムでは品質保持効果が最も高く、365nmの紫外線カットフィルムでは異臭成分の生成防止効果が見られ、酸素遮断フィルムでは脂質酸化防止効果が見られた。

Computer Musicのマルチメディア・パフォーマンス作品として、1993年から1994年にかけて実験的に作曲された2つの作品について、理論的考察、音楽的コンセプト、作品創造の過程等について報告する。第一の作品は、ICMC1993の関連イベントである「芸術と知識工学に関する国際ワークショップ」と「神戸国際現代音楽祭'93」で発表された"CIS(aotic Interaction Sh)"であり、第二の作品は音楽情報科学研究会と共に開催の「眼と耳の対位法」で発表された"Muromachi"である。いずれの作品も「Computer Music:長嶋洋一、Computer Graphics:由良泰人」という、音楽と映像のコラボレーションとして実現されたリアルタイム・インタラクティブな構成をもつが、パフォーマーによる進行の駆動形態はまったく逆のコンセプトをとった。また音楽の部分では、カオス理論を適用したアルゴリズム作曲の手法を用いて、演奏のたびに異なる音楽となるように作曲されている。This paper describes two experimental compositions of computer music with multi media technology. One is "CIS (Chaotic Interaction Show)" which is performed at IAKTA (International Association for Knowledge Technology in the Art) Workshop and Kobe International Modern Music Festival '93, and the other is "Muromachi" which is performed at "Kontrapunkt fur Augen und Ohren" in Kyoto. Both compositions are produced by Yoichi Nagashima (Computer Music) and Yasuto Yura (Computer Graphics), and are performed interactively in real-time. The music is composed with chaotic concept and algorithmic composition technique.

In Shoko's writings, there are places where he wrote attributions such as "according to me" and "according to Ben'na" Ben'na being another name for Shoko. In this paper, I examine why Shoko wrote in this manner. It is apparent that Shoko only did this for certain sections and not others, intentionally making a distinction. Examining the content of Shoko's writings, it is clear that he was distinguishing his supplementary explanations from Honen's original discourse. In other words, in order that Shoko's own explanations not be confused with Honen's, he clarified by adding attributions like "according to me" to those sections, and we can presume he was conscientiously recording Honen's thoughts.

The new theoretical opinions, whose symbolic view of point is to enforce More Freedom of Education, have insisted to realise, all over the education system in this country, the governmental deregulations, the competitions not only within the educational demanders but also the suppliers, and finally the parental freedom of educational choices. They declare that just now we should get, and only they could, the new meanings of the concept of Freedom of Education instead of old one which have been the fundamental objectives for a long time at the side of the educational movements, but have been neglected by the governmental policies. Also I suppose that we are now at the historical turning point of how to succeed in a drastic innovation of the present ideas and mechanisms of education born in the modern society. So then, the main aim of this article is to examine whether really they have carried out to get over the aporia about the concept of Freedom of Education. Through my conciderations, we can reach the conclusion that the opinions of More Freedom of Education are, despite of their expectations, very conservative one calling back the old classcal meanings of Freedom of Education, and, so, that they can not well resolve our historical problems of public education.
