The present study was designed to investigate the kinematic factors related to sprint running velocity. The subjects were 71 sprinters(49 males and 22 females)who ranged from world class to collegiate level. Movements were recorded around the 60-m point from the start line during a 100-m race(during official races including world championships in athletics, or under experimental conditions)using 16-mm movie or video cameras. The official best time during recording of the movements was 9.86. The correlation coefficients between kinematic data(see Fig.1)and sprint running velocity were calculated for three groups(male, female, and all sprinters). Step length and step length index(step length/body height to exclude the effects of body height)were correlated positively and significantly with sprint running velocity for all groups(male, female, and all sprinter). Step frequency and step frequency index[step frequency・(body height/gravitational acceleration)^<1/2>to exclude the effects of body height]were correlated positively and significantly with sprint running velocity for all groups except male sprinters with regard to step frequency. With regard to leg swing, maximal thigh angle and maximal leg angle showed no significant correlation with sprint running velocity, but the minimal knee angle showed a singificant negative correlation with sprint running velocity for both male and all sprinters. These results suggest that the purpose of high knee drills generally carried out during training needs to be reconsidered. The maximal leg touch down velocity showed a significant positive correlation with sprint running velocity for both female and all sprinters. This probably means that the leg touch down velocity acts to reduce the deceleration at the moment of foot contact and to accelerate the subsequent leg swing back velocity during the foot contact phase. As for the support leg, the maximal leg swing velocity showed a significant positive correlation with sprint running velocity for all groups. Although the maximal hip extension velocity during the foot contact phase was correlated positively and significantly with sprint running velocity for male sprinters, the maximal knee and ankle extension velocity showed a significant negative correlation with sprint running velocity for female and all sprinters. These results suggest that the knee should not be extended to transfer the hip extension velocity effectively to the leg swing velocity during the foot contact period. This was borne out by the fact that the top sprinters entered in the present study hardly extended the knee of the driving leg during the foot contact phase.

The influences of six representative surfactants on hair and the scalp were investigated under various conditions such as : irritation, protein denaturation, sorption onto commercial hide powder or keratin powder, change in turnover time of the stratum corneum, dandruff and disintegration of the cuticle.1. Influence of surfactants on scalp.Although the cumulative irritation test, 48-hour closed patch test, and immersion test were performed to assess the irritating effects of surfactants, the results did not agree with each other. The immersion test, which makes essentially the same use of surfactants, gave results in close agreement with those for sorption of sufactants or protein denaturation by surfactants.Amounts of surfactants sorbed by hide powder.Irritation score of immersion test : r=0.671.Amounts of surfactants sorbed by keratin powder.Irritation score of immersion test : r=0.930.Per cent denaturation of OVA by surfactants.Irritation score of immersion test : r=0.880.Turnover times of the stratum corneum due to the surfactants were found to follow the order, AMT≤AGS≤L-Soap≤AP<LS≤ES.Examination of the amounts of dandruff as observed when using AMT shampoo and ES shampoo, each with a different effect on the turnover time of the stratum corneum, showed the amounts to differ remarkably according to the surfactant used.2. Influence of surfactants on hair.The extent of disintegration of cuticle by a surfactant supersonic treatment was found to have the following order : AMT≤AGS≤AP≤ES<LS<L-Soap.Based on the above results, AMT can be a good surfactant as a detergent for the hair and scalp.

"SPICON" (Spiritual Convention) is one of the most famous events in recent spiritual boom in Japan. In "SPICON" many people including both sponsors and customers enjoy approaching the sacredness through buying things and taking part in sessions which are related to spirituality. Although approaching the sacredness is often accompanied with danger, they seem to devote themselves to "dedication" and yet keep themselves from any trouble and violence. How can they do so? In this paper I intend to verify, by taking "SPICON" as an example, that a new type of safety device for approaching the sacredness is appearing in Japanese society.

障害者相談支援により,市町村の障害者福祉事業を充実させるためには,社会資源の改善・開発を推進する実践として,生活問題を把握し,地域課題を明確化するとともに,それを解決する計画化・事業化に取り組む「実践課題の政策化」が必要である。本研究では,障害者相談支援システムにおける「実践課題の政策化」の現状について,そのシステムの中核となる基幹相談支援センターを対象にした調査をもとに探求した。結果としては,「一般的な相談」を含めた安定的な相談支援体制の構築,相談支援事業所等関係機関の緊密な連携のための環境づくりや技術向上に対する福祉専門職の意識と行動,自立支援協議会の活性化などの必要性が課題として明らかになった。今後,「実践課題の政策化」に向け,基幹相談支援センターの充実・強化が求められる。

NP完全問題の一つである巡回セールスマン問題を公開鍵暗号に応用した巡回セールスマン暗号のアルゴリズムを提案する.初めに, ナップザック暗号や巡回セールスマン暗号で用いる秘密鍵について検討し, 次に, 秘密鍵から公開鍵を生成する変換法について考察する.また, 暗号化の方法について検討し, 最後に, 組合せ理論に基づく暗号の安全性について考察する.
