Auditory stimuli are known to alter visual perception. However, the effects of such stimuli on velocity perception have not yet been examined. A well-known velocity illusion related to object size is described by Brown's law. We can easily match object size with sound intensity. Therefore, this study examined the potential modification of velocity perception by auditory stimuli at different sound pressure levels (SPLs). The results showed that the perceived velocity, particularly when the object size was small, diminished with a high SPL auditory stimulus. We assume two interpretations of this result. First, high intensity sounds can modify the perceived object size and alter the perceived velocity by replicating Brown's law since large objects tend to match well with high SPL sounds. Second, previous studies indicated that stimuli with strong intensities seem to have been presented for longer durations. Thus, stimulus duration may be perceived as longer when higher SPL sounds are presented simultaneously, which may cause the velocity to be perceived as being slower.

目的 : ラオス国は開発途上国で, いまだ女性の死亡原因の一位は子宮頸がんである. しかし, その予防のための検診のみならず, 細胞診に関しても十分に実施されていない. 今回, 健常女性における子宮頸部細胞診スクリーニングを実施・検討した.方法 : ラオス国首都ビエンチャン市内の 3 つの地区に居住する 22~65 歳の健常人ボランティア女性の総数 1000 名に対して自己採取型の加藤式自己搾過法器具を使用して子宮頸がん細胞診検査を実施した.成績 : 細胞診判定はベセスダシステム 2001 に準拠した. NILM ; 893 例 (89.3%), ASC-US ; 33 例 (3.3%), LSIL ; 19 例 (1.9%), ASC-H ; 3 例 (0.3%), HSIL ; 1 例 (0.1%), SCC ; 1 例 (0.1%), 不適正標本に関しては 50 例 (0.5%) であった. また, HPV 感染を示唆する koilocytosis を呈する症例は 24 例 (2.4%) であった.結論 : LSIL 以上の要精検率に関しては, 日本と比較すると 2 倍を示し明らかに高い印象であった. koilocytosis を呈する症例数も本邦と比べて多い傾向であった.

In this study, consumer experiments were used to verify the effects of onomatopoeia used in word-of-mouth reporting among consumers on sensations in the mouth. The results contribute to the knowledge of food companies using word-of-mouth reports that incorporate onomatopoeia for their marketing purposes. (1) The use of onomatopoeia in word-of-mouth reports among consumers improves the expression of the feel of the food in the mouth. (2) However, care should be taken that communication using onomatopoeia reduces, to a bare minimum, the amount of information aside from the onomatopoeia. (3) Consumers experiencing the feel of the food in their mouths, use onomatopoeia more frequently in their word-of-mouth reporting. (4) In particular, the use of onomatopoeia in word-of-mouth reporting persists when onomatopoeic expressions are viewed on product packages.

本研究では次の様な成果を獲得した。(1)東アジアの都城が、西アジアの都市と、機能や構造において多くの共通点を有していることを明らかにした。(2)新たに3DVR表示システムを開発し、3つのモデルを作成した。(3)鈴鹿関のモデルを分析して日本古代三関が交通の検問と軍事の両機能を兼ね備えた施設であることを解明した。(4)復原モデルを用いたデジタル野外ミュージアムの展開を開いた。

戊辰戦争期の維新政府が、諸藩・国内民衆・外国人に対して行なった情報・宣伝活動を政治史的観点から分析し、その成果を公表した。とくに諸藩関係では、触頭制という情報伝達制度の重要性を指摘し、民衆関係では、画像史料も活用しながら、新政府軍の宣伝歌であるトコトンヤレ節の流布状況を解明した。外国人関係では、海外所在の未紹介史料を収集し、維新政府を悩ませたプロイセンの反政府的活動に関する新事実を明らかにした。

オイラー積やディリクレ級数の挙動と、素数分布やリーマンゼータ関数の零点分布の間の関係について研究を行った。また、素数分布や零点分布と関連するようなオイラー積やディリクレ級数の挙動について、数値的な観点から研究を行った。さらに、オイラー積の漸近挙動の研究の応用として、ある種の約数関数の上極限に関する性質についても研究を行った。
