本論文では,戦後日本の統計学の展開を,特に統計的標本抽出理論に基づく科学的世論調査研究の実践的方法論確立の観点から振り返る.統計学会75年の歴史のなかで,実のある統計学の発展は「歴史」と「理論」と「実践」の相互関係の中ではじめて必然となることを,戦後民主主義発展の基盤となった統計科学的世論調査研究が例証していることを再確認する.また一方で,近年,個人情報保護等の影響で調査環境が悪化し,調査遂行上の著しい困難がもたらされ,世論調査の統計的基盤が揺らいでいる.本論文では,この問題解決への試案を示唆するが,これが一つの契機となり,多くの統計学者の尽力により,近い将来,再び統計科学的世論調査が揺るぎのないものに再構築されることを期待する.

Currently, wireless power transmission technology is being developed for capsule endoscopes. By removing the battery, the capsule endoscope is miniaturized, the number of images that can be taken increases, and the risk of harmful substances leaking from the battery when it is damaged inside the body is avoided. Furthermore, diagnostic accuracy is improved by adjusting the directivity of radio waves according to the position of the capsule endoscope to improve efficiency and adjusting the number of images to be taken according to position by real-time position estimation. In this study, we report the result of position estimation in a high-definition numerical human body model and in an experiment on an electromagnetic phantom.

In this paper I have described about the auxiliary 'つ(tsu)' 'ぬ(nu)' that was used from ancient times until the Kamakura Period, and the difference from the similar expressions 'たり(tari)'. The modern word '~てしまう(~teshimau)' implies the ancient auxiliary 'つ(tsu)' and 'ぬ(nu)'. I tried to make clear the characteristics of Japanese which has the originarity idea for the objective expression and the subjective one. That's means Modality.

「再生医療」という言葉はここ数年,世間にずいぶん浸透した.iPS細胞(人工多能性幹細胞)がノーベル賞関連で脚光を浴びる一方で,STAP細胞(刺激惹起性多能性獲得細胞)の一連のニュースがあるなど,良かれ悪しかれ,マスコミの科学欄で頻繁に取り上げられている.社会的な期待も高い.私はこのような状況を見るにつけ,「再生医療」が言葉だけのブームに終わらぬようにと祈るような気持ちを抱く.なぜなら我が国には,革新的な医療・医薬品等の実用化に関し,非常に苦い経験があるからである.

The presence of water on Earth has played important roles in shaping the solid regions of the planet as well as in the origin and evolution of life. This paper addresses three fundamental aspects of Earth’s water; (1) the quantity of water on the surface and in the interior that Earth possesses, (2) the length of time that surface oceans have been present, and (3) the mechanism(s) by which this water was supplied or generated. From geochemical and geophysical analysis, and high-pressure experimental works, the water content in the Earth’s mantle can be estimated to be from one to ten times the present ocean mass. Although it is difficult to estimate the water content in the Earth’s core, recent high-pressure experimental work indicates copious amounts of hydrogen in the core. From geological and geochemical evidence, the Earth’s surface oceans appear to have existed since very early in the Earth’s history, perhaps even since the Earth’s formation. However, changes in the ocean volume throughout the Earth’s history have not been well determined. Several possible water sources and supply mechanisms have been proposed, in association with theories regarding planet formation in our solar system. Since there are several uncertainties concerning the process of planet formation, the origin of the Earth’s water is still in question.

目的:スポーツを行う中高生の腰痛をきたす疾患には腰椎分離症があり,腰椎伸展時に腰痛増強が訴えることが多い.そこで,伸展時腰痛を訴える中高生における腰椎分離症(急性期)の割合を調査することを目的とした.方法:2012年8月から2013年8月までに当院を受診し,伸展時腰痛を訴える中高生の患者は129名であった. 原則として,全員にmagnetic resonance imaging(以下MRI)を施行し,実施可能であった105名を対象とした.MRI横断像short TI inversion recovery(以下STIR)で,関節突起間部の高信号域が認められるものを腰椎分離症(急性期)と診断した.結果:105名中,59名(56.1%)が腰椎分離症(急性期)と診断された.考察:今回の報告が,高い割合で腰椎分離症(急性期)を診断できた理由として,対象患者を伸展時腰痛患者に絞った点,原則全例を対象として横断研究を行った点があげられる.中高生の伸展時腰痛おいては,腰椎分離症をまず念頭におくべきである.結語:整形外科診療所外来を受診した,伸展時腰痛を訴える中高生の患者の約60%が腰椎分離症(急性期)を有していた.

Environmental standards of nuclear waste disposal, are determined from the accident victim of exposure data, such as animal experiments and war and nuclear test. They are all in a short period of time of exposure, is the impact data on the human body. As exposure example of the long-term, there is an exposure of local residents such as natural radiation exposure and radiation dose especially large Radium Hot Springs. Low-level radiation of these day-to-day exposure shows that it is clear from the fact of more than 1000 years that there is a health-promoting effects, not harmful. Japan of Radium Hot Springs (Tamagawa hot spring) there is a history of 1200 years. Overseas there is a Karlovarsky kraj hot spring of Czechoslovakia that Madame Curie was built. This hot spring there is a history of about 500 years. In addition, hot spring with mixed low-level radium utility from ancient times of BC 100 years, there is a fact that was not the environment pollution. In other words, from the history of the human race, which has been living under the low-level radiation, for establishing more appropriate environmental standards of low-level radiation emitted from nuclear waste, we investigate the historic hot springs.

症例は75歳女性である.発熱と頭痛の後,左外眼筋麻痺と失明をきたした.蝶形骨洞炎と肥厚性硬膜炎をともない,β-Dグルカンが陰性で生検は未施行であったが,深在性アスペルギルス症を想定しボリコナゾール投与を開始した.治療開始後5日目から症状の改善がみられ,血清アスペルギルス抗原陽性が判明した.深在性アスペルギルス症による眼窩尖端症候群の既報告例では,ステロイド投与を先行させたばあい,きわめて予後が悪く致命的になっている症例が多い.ステロイドが奏効する疾患との鑑別も難しいが,確定診断が困難な症例に対してはステロイド投与に先行して抗真菌剤投与による診断的治療を検討すべきと考えられた.
