This paper presents a new concept of a flexible mobile and versatile shape reconfigurable control mechanism of a robot, called a versatile robotnoid (Vroid), which can be applied for plant maintenance works and other outdoor operational works, where its working environments are restricted due to mobil space and terrain. The Vroid I based on the multiple link-wheel mechanism has abilities of passing through rough terrains, passing over obstacles and going up and down stairways. Compared the Vroid I with conventional wheel, crawler and legged locomotion types of the mobile mechanisms, the proposed one is considered to be superior to those from the viewpoint of flexibility and adaptability to working environments. Utilizing the redundancy of joints in degrees of freedom, a method of the joint static control sequence is proposed to minimize the torques required to joint rotation under some constraints, which can easily be solved by the linear programming approach.

平成24年度は、三浦と越智の共同の成果公開の機会が多くあった。本プロジェクトの目標通り、リベラリズムのイデオロギーと現代のアメリカ文学研究の深い関係を分析しようとする試みは、三浦、越智が執筆し、三浦が編者をつとめた『文学研究のマニフェスト』(研究社)として刊行された。越智は、第二次世界大戦期の南部文学と新批評がリベラリズムをどのように制度化したのか、三浦は、J・D・サリンジャーの『キャッチャー・イン・ザ・ライ』とコーマク・マッカッシーの『ザ・ロード』がどのようにリベラリズムの文学として成立しているかを論じた。また、平成23年急逝されたお茶の水女子大学の竹村和子教授を偲ぶ、アメリカ文学会東京支部におけるシンポジウム(6月於慶応大学三田キャンパス)に、三浦、越智の双方が招かれ、発表を行った。この成果は、アメリカ文学会東京支部の紀要『アメリカ文学』の6月発行の次号において、公開される予定である。越智は、竹村さんの仕事を貫くリベラリズムへの複雑な想いを、三浦は、竹村さんの後期の仕事における生政治批判がどのようなリベラリズム批判であるかを論じた。さらに、一橋大学において隔年で慣行されている人文学とジェンダーの関係についての論集が2013年3月に慣行されたが、その編者を三浦がつとめ、そこに越智も執筆した。『ジェンダーと「自由」』(彩流社)と題されたこの論集も、本プロジェクトの延長上で、リベラリズムと人文学的な想像力との関係を、批判的に考察しようとするものである。越智は、冷戦期の男性性が当時のどのようなリベラリズムの言説によって正当化されたかを、三浦は、新自由主義期の男らしさ、女らしさがどのような新しい定義を与えられているかを論じた。

The tendency to underestimate the time required to complete a project, even while knowing that the vast majority of similar projects have run late, has been termed the “planning fallacy” (Kahneman & Tversky, 1979). Although many studies have shown that people often underestimate their task-completion time, the mechanism of the planning fallacy has not become clear. In order to verify the mechanism, this article conducted two experimental studies from the perspective of task difficulty. In Study 1, participants predicted the necessary times of two tasks (easy task and difficult task) and worked on them. As a result of Study 1, it was demonstrated that the task difficulty affected the degree of the planning fallacy. Participants underestimated the necessary time of easy task, but on the other hand participants overestimated the necessary time of difficult one; the difference was statistically significant (p < .01). Study 2 was conducted one year after the Study 1. In Study 2, participants recalled the task-completion times of two tasks which they had worked on one year ago. As a result of Study 2, it is shown that the task difficulty also affected the degree of the memory bias. Participants underestimated the task-completion time of easy task which they had worked on one year ago, whereas overestimated the task-completion time of difficult one; the difference was statistically significant (p < .01).

2001年5月6日午後5時過ぎ。山梨県にある遊園地「富士急ハイランド」で突然,悲鳴が夕闇を切り裂いた。悲鳴の先は「フライングコースターバードメン」。2人ずつ腹ばいになってゴンドラに乗車し,全長440m強のコースを鳥のように駆け抜けるアトラクションだ。上にある軌道から前後2点でつり下げた,ゴンドラの一つの前部が落下。

Nucleic acid medicine treatment is a promising technology and improving the efficacy of therapeutic oligonucleotides is still needed for its broad use. Although antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) and short interfering RNA (siRNA) have been well known as nucleic acid medicine, pharmaceutical developments by using them are not completely free to be done due to patent protection. Therefore, we developed a new technology, third generation oligonucleotide. We named it heteroduplex oligonucleotide (HDO). In addition, our original drug delivery system (DDS) using glucose trasporter–1 (GLUT1) made great enhancement on delivery of oligonucleotides into the brain through blood–brain barrier (BBB). In this symposium, we show above two new technologies we have developed, and outline the nucleic acid medicine treatment for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

社会的便益を過小評価されがちな美術館活動について、その受益者及び社会的便益をある程度客観的に推計することにより、その社会的便益にふさわしい適切な支援のあり方を検討することを目的として、岡山県倉敷市にある大原美術館を事例として取り上げ、CVM(仮想評価法)を用いた市民調査を実施した。結果として、大原美術館が、近隣地域(倉敷市及び岡山市)の市民に与える総便益は年間約6億円と推計され、将来世代のためといった遺贈価値、他の人が利用しているからといった代位価値、誇りに思うといった威信価値、都市の魅力を高めるなどの非利用価値が大きいことがわかった。また、WTP(支払意志額)に影響する変数は、大学院レベルの学歴及び所得、大原美術館への総訪問回数となった。また半数を超える市民が支払意志を有することから地方自治体による一定程度の支援は正当性を有すると考えられるが、同時に、相対的に高いWTPを有する一部の市民が存在することから、別途これらの人々の支援を得るスキームを考えることも必要であろう。

国土交通省・警察庁が2012年発出した自転車ガイドラインでは自転車走行空間のネットワーク整備を推進するため,多くの街路において,車道部の活用を基本方針としており,自転車専用通行帯に加えて,自動車速度が低く,交通量の少ない道路では,車道部でのマーキングや指導帯等を用いて,車道混在形態の整備を進めることが示されている.しかし,我が国の自転車の利用者にとってこうした車道走行の安全感確保の視点からの評価に関して十分な研究はない.本研究では,走行中の自転車から,追越していく自動車の速度,離隔を計測することができるプローブバイシクルを開発し,安全感のプロトコル調査と組み合わせることで,自動車に追い抜かれる時の安全感モデルを開発した.
