背景.フッ素樹脂は日用品に汎用されるが,過燃焼によりヒュームを生じ,時に肺障害をきたし得る.症例.55歳女性.鍋に火をかけて寝てしまい,2時間後に呼吸困難を自覚し当院へ搬送となった.発熱と低酸素血症があり,胸部CTにて中枢側優位のすりガラス陰影を認めた.気管支鏡検査では気管支肺胞洗浄液にて好中球増多があり,経気管支肺生検では軽度の胞隔炎の所見であった.フッ素樹脂加工鍋の使用歴から,ポリマーヒューム吸入による肺障害と診断した.症状や画像所見は速やかに消失し,第7病日に退院となった.結論.ポリマーヒューム熱は日常生活の中で起こり得る疾患として注意が必要であるため,報告する.

The purpose of this study was to identify the angles of the shoulder complex which consist of glenohumeral joint, scapulothracic joint, and thoracic joint at the maximum external rotation (MER) of the shoulder complex during throwing in baseball players, and to analyze the correlation of each angle.The subjects were 19 collegiate baseball players. Throwing motion data was collected by three high-speed cameras and the three-dimensional (3D) coordinates of the shoulder complex were established by direct leaner translation method for the MER calculation. A 3D analysis was performed to obtain the external rotation (ER) angle of the glenohumeral joint, the posterior tilt angle of the scapula, and the extension angles of thoracic at MER of shoulder complex. The mean (±SD) value of the MER was 145.5±10.3°. The mean (±SD) values of the glenohumeral ER, the scapula posterior tilt angle and the thoracic extension angle at MER were 105.3±16.0°, 24.3±15.0°, and 9.1±7.2°respectively. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to relate the MER angle to each joint angle. The final linear regression model included the posterior tilting angle of scapula ( r=0.56, p<0.05), and external rotation of the glenohumeral joint ( r=0.40, p<0.05). Significant negative correlation was observed between the posterior tilting angle of the scapula and external rotation of the glenohumeral joint ( r=-0.52, p<0.05). This finding suggested that scapula motion could be very important for the prevention of throwing injuries.

The tongue in four species of penguin was investigated by light microscopy and by scanning electron microscopy, with special reference to the lingual papillae.1) The middle of the penguin tongue contains a pair of long cartilages and long tendons accompanied by striated muscle bundles.2) Large, spine-like, and caudally directed lingual papillae (filiform-like papillae) densely cover the dorsal surface of the tongue, apparently serving to catch fishes.3) By light microscopy, the dorsal lingual epithelium with the lingual papillae are seen as a thick cornified layer, but the lateral and lower surfaces have a thinner cornified layer.4) The connective tissue core (CTC) under the epithelium of the lingual papilla shows a stereo structure similar to but smaller than the external form of the papilla. The CTC contains some blood vessels and nerve fibers; the lingual glands are found in the submucous layer only in the posterior tongue.5) Bundles of nerve fibers in the lamina propria of the tongue were immunohistochemically positive for PGP 9.5, and it appeared that Merkel corpuscles were distributed in the connective tissue closely beneath the epithelium of the finger-like papillae, though they were only weakly immunoreactive for PGP 9.5.6) Numerous fine filaments of elastic fibers are found closely beneath the epithelial cell layer of the dorsal surface of the tongue including the lingual papillae, while there are very few of them on the lateral and lower sides of the tongue.

The present study was designed to investigate the kinematic factors related to sprint running velocity. The subjects were 71 sprinters(49 males and 22 females)who ranged from world class to collegiate level. Movements were recorded around the 60-m point from the start line during a 100-m race(during official races including world championships in athletics, or under experimental conditions)using 16-mm movie or video cameras. The official best time during recording of the movements was 9.86. The correlation coefficients between kinematic data(see Fig.1)and sprint running velocity were calculated for three groups(male, female, and all sprinters). Step length and step length index(step length/body height to exclude the effects of body height)were correlated positively and significantly with sprint running velocity for all groups(male, female, and all sprinter). Step frequency and step frequency index[step frequency・(body height/gravitational acceleration)^<1/2>to exclude the effects of body height]were correlated positively and significantly with sprint running velocity for all groups except male sprinters with regard to step frequency. With regard to leg swing, maximal thigh angle and maximal leg angle showed no significant correlation with sprint running velocity, but the minimal knee angle showed a singificant negative correlation with sprint running velocity for both male and all sprinters. These results suggest that the purpose of high knee drills generally carried out during training needs to be reconsidered. The maximal leg touch down velocity showed a significant positive correlation with sprint running velocity for both female and all sprinters. This probably means that the leg touch down velocity acts to reduce the deceleration at the moment of foot contact and to accelerate the subsequent leg swing back velocity during the foot contact phase. As for the support leg, the maximal leg swing velocity showed a significant positive correlation with sprint running velocity for all groups. Although the maximal hip extension velocity during the foot contact phase was correlated positively and significantly with sprint running velocity for male sprinters, the maximal knee and ankle extension velocity showed a significant negative correlation with sprint running velocity for female and all sprinters. These results suggest that the knee should not be extended to transfer the hip extension velocity effectively to the leg swing velocity during the foot contact period. This was borne out by the fact that the top sprinters entered in the present study hardly extended the knee of the driving leg during the foot contact phase.

阪神淡路大震災後の大規模な渋滞は,大都市の震災対応策に重要な教訓をもたらした.しかしながら,それから10年以上が経過しているにもかわらず,震災緊急時の交通対応の視点は基本的には変わっておらず,その教訓が十分に活かされる状況には至っていない.その原因の一つには,実際に現場でどのような現象が生じていたかが必ずしも明らかになっているとは言えないという点がある.そこで本研究では,最も重要な期間である震災発生後1~2日間における現象をあらためて明らかにするため,当時の状況に関する研究・文献等を調査し,被災地に流入できる全断面の震災直後の状況を把握する.また,これらの分析から,大都市における震災時の交通対応策に対して得られる教訓を整理し,現在の対策の課題を明らかにする.

This study was conducted to clarify the relationship between features of change in velocity and performance of world class athletes in the men's 400-m hurdle race(400mH).Nine final races of 400mH were videotaped with several video cameras panning from the start to the finish at 60 fields/s.After the time indication had been superimposed on each field of the VTR images, the time at touchdown immediately after hurdling was obtained.Using the flash of the starter's gun recorded on the VTR image, each hurdle touchdown time from the start, and each section thme(from each hurdle to the next)was obtained.The results of regression analysis showed a significantly high correlation (r=0.90, p<0.001)between 400mH performance and mean section velocity from the 5th to the 8th hurdle(H5-8), and a significant correlation(r=-0.61, p<0.05)between 400mH performance and te rate of deceleration in H5-8.These results indicate that in 400mH it is important to avoid decreasing velocity and to maintain a high velocity in H5-8 of the race in order to attain a high performance.

The magnitude of mechanical stress at the shoulder and elbow appears to be directly correlated with the degree of maximum shoulder external rotation (MER) during throwing. Therefore, it is very important to prevent excessive MER to minimize the risk of throwing injuries. The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between MER during throwing and the kinematic parameters of throwing mechanics, shoulder muscle strength, and shoulder range of motion in high school baseball players. The subjects were 40 male high school baseball players with no elbow or shoulder joint problems. Three-dimensional analysis was performed to calculate the MER angle. Then, the shoulder and elbow angles at initial foot contact (IFC) were computed. ROM and muscle strength of shoulder joint were also measured in each subject. Multiple linear regression analysis was used to relate the MER angle to these factors. Significant correlations were observed between the MER angle and the external rotation (ER) angle (r=−0.51, p<0.001) at IFC, and the ER range of motion (r=0.84, p<0.01). The MER angle significantly correlated with shoulder internal rotation (IR) at IFC. This finding suggests that stress on the shoulder and elbow could be increased by the degree of shoulder IR angle at the moment of IFC. Further, excessive ER range of motion may also be a risk factor.

This paper presents a new concept of a flexible mobile and versatile shape reconfigurable control mechanism of a robot, called a versatile robotnoid (Vroid), which can be applied for plant maintenance works and other outdoor operational works, where its working environments are restricted due to mobil space and terrain. The Vroid I based on the multiple link-wheel mechanism has abilities of passing through rough terrains, passing over obstacles and going up and down stairways. Compared the Vroid I with conventional wheel, crawler and legged locomotion types of the mobile mechanisms, the proposed one is considered to be superior to those from the viewpoint of flexibility and adaptability to working environments. Utilizing the redundancy of joints in degrees of freedom, a method of the joint static control sequence is proposed to minimize the torques required to joint rotation under some constraints, which can easily be solved by the linear programming approach.

In competitive sports, complex movements by athletes can be observed.These movements are highly rationalized and sophisticated, compared to movements in the activity of daily life. They are practised and perfected in order to win. This all too often leads to injury. Stability is defined in various ways, but in this paper, stability and stable movements are defined as movements with the minimum of sports injuries but the maximum of sports performance. Movements that are likely to cause injuries and have a bad effect on performance are defined as unstable movements. The movements seen in running, throwing and tackling are focussed on mechanical factors related to injuries. Points of importance are made with regard to stability.

【はじめに】 腰痛の発生は、様々な身体機能の低下が相俟って腰椎-骨盤リズムの乱れなどを生じさせることが問題となる。それが動作時の問題を誘発させ、痛みの発生につながると考えられる症例を多く経験する。その中で、特に股関節の可動域制限は腰痛を誘発する重要な要因の一つである。 今回は腰痛の発生要因の一つである股関節の関節可動域に限定し、動作時の痛みの発生パターンとの関連を定量的に調査した。【対象と方法】 対象は平成4年4月より平成14年10月までに当所にて腰痛症と診断され、理学療法を実施した男性179名とした。 対象を体幹運動の方向と痛みの発生の関係から_丸1_体幹屈曲時に痛みが生じる屈曲型、_丸2_体幹伸展時に痛みが生じる伸展型に分類(川野)した。また、この2項目に分類されないものは対象から除外した。内訳は、屈曲型52名(年齢21.6±9.7歳、身長171.2±5.1cm、体重64.1±11.8kg)、伸展型127名(年齢19.7±8.4歳、身長169.6±8.8cm、体重63.9±14.1kg)であった。 理学療法記録より下肢伸展挙上(以下、SLR)、股関節伸展、外旋、内旋の関節可動域を調査し、各々の項目について屈曲型と伸展型の間で比較した。検定はt検定を用い、有意水準5%未満とした。【結果】 関節可動域の平均値はSLRでは屈曲型74.9±11.1度、伸展型77.9±10.9度であり有意差がみられた(p

1989年8月27日、札幌市で行われた北海道マラソンに出場した日本の代表的マラソンランナーH.T選手を対象として、マラソンレース中の体表面温度を赤外線映像装置(日本アビオニクス株式会社TVS)を用いて併走車上より撮影記録した。計測点は、顔(前額部)、胸(ランニングシャツのかからない胸元部位)、腹部(ランニングシャツの表面)、大腿(大腿中央部)の4点とした。

COMPASS is an assessment test based on the cognitive model of mathematical problem solving. This test diagnoses components of mathematical ability which are required in the process of understanding and solving mathematical problems. The tasks were selected through the case studies of cognitive counseling, in which researchers individually interview and teach learners who feel difficulty in particular learning behavior. The purpose of COMPASS is to provide diagnostic information for improving learning process and methods of class lessons. Features of COMPASS include: The time limitations are set for each task to measure the target component accurately; questionnaires are incorporated to diagnose orientation toward learning behavior. The present paper aims to introduce the concept and the tasks of COMPASS to show how cognitive science contributes to school education through the development of assessment tests.

第11回世界陸上競技選手権大会(大阪,2007)に出場した各種種目の世界一流選手と日本選手の動作分析とタイム分析をおこなった.これらの分析結果とこれまで蓄積してきたデータとを比較し,今回出場した世界一流選手たちの技術の特徴を明らかにするとともに,日本選手の技術の長所や改善すべき点を洗い出すことが出来た.多くのデータを収集できた種目に関しては,記録との相関関係をもとに普遍的ともいえる合理的技術を示すことが出来た.

Kang You-Wei's "shinto (神道)" is mean 'shentao-shuqjiao (神道設教)' by "I-chin(易経)"s word. His religion is relief for this world, is not relief for the other world. From his viewpoint that Confucianism (儒教) is religion. And Japanese 'Shinto' is national ceremony. He said that the Japanese emperor's 'seimon(誓文)' is the biggest ceremony of Japanese politics in Meiji(明治) era.
