A new method to observe transmission electron microscope (TEM) images for the core-shell structure of emulsion particles was established. The TEM image for the cross section of the emulsion particles could be obtained by cryo-ultramicrotomy of the gelated emulsion with gelatin. Structural information of the emulsion particle with a core of epoxy-novolak resin and a shell of acrylic resin was thus obtained which had not been obtained before by conventional negative staining and cryo-ultramicrotomy.

The middle parts in Niigata Prefecture including major oil fields exists as the most remarkable area, and these oil fields mainly belongs to Bodaiji-Kamo Uplift and Kakuda-Yahiko Uplift was grown after Teradomari stage in Neogene Tertiary age. In this paper are disscussed how have developed historicaly and structurely, and then as the conclusion for migration and accumulation of oil from these area introduced following two important points: (1) The end of the regional migration of oil accumulated on the paleostructure to Shiiya stage. (2) The local migration of oil are distinctly after Nishiyama stage and petroleum (or gas) finaly was trapped in the structure according to the structural movement after Uonuma stage.

能動的に動作する耳介を持つロボットシステムを用いた音源定位法を検討した.音源方向の推定には,事前測定した音響データベースとの照合による方法を考え,不確かさを確率モデルを導入した推定手法を提案した.実際の能動耳介ロボットによる実験を通じて,提案手法がロバストな音源定位が可能であることが示された.また,ロボット動作に伴う騒音の影響を検証し,基本的な動作生成法について研究を行った.

人類学において「比較」の方法は時代おくれのものとみなされ、また現地調査そのものも批判の対象になっている。そのような批判に過剰反応して、人類学の一部は、調査、民族誌記述比較など、従来の学問の中心的な営みとされてきた部分をそぎおとし、自己・主体に閉塞する私小説的な相貌を帯びてきている。ラドクリフ=ブラウンやマードックらによる科学主義的な比較研究は、みずからか神の視点に立つ普遍主義的前提にもとづいていたが、レヴィ=ストロース、デュモンらによる遠隔の比較には、西欧中心主義を相対化する視点が含まれていた。デュモンのいう宿命としての比較に対して、非西欧世界の人類学者にはさらに、比較の前提となる単一性、普遍性が外から与えられてきたという点で、大きく異なっている。人類の普遍性、人間の単一性とはキリスト教世界が浸透させてきた神話の意味があるが、このような普遍神話、単一神話は、非西欧世界のエリートによって受容され、定着させられてきた歴史もある。このような限界を意識した、いわば物象化された普遍性を前提とした比較の試みは、西欧中心主義を批判するとともに、人類学のあたらしい可能性をも示唆している。

本研究の目的は,複数課題条件下の移動能力トレーニングであるTrail Walking Exercise(TWE)の臨床効果を,無作為化比較対照試験によって検証することである。対象は特定高齢者60名(80.5 ± 5.6歳)であり,無作為に標準的な運動介入に加えTWEを行うTWE群30名と,標準的運動介入のみを行うコントロール群30名に分けられた。介入は,両群ともに週に1回,16週間実施した。Timed up and go test(TUG)や片脚立位などの運動機能評価,および注意機能検査であるTrail Making test part A(TMT-A)を介入前後に測定し,アウトカムとした。二元配置分散分析の結果,TUG,TMT-Aに交互作用を認め,介入群でのみ有意な改善を示した。これらのことより,TWEは,動的なバランス能力や注意機能の改善に有用であり,転倒予防にも有用である可能性が示唆された。

塩酸デクスメデトミジン(プレセデックス)は,強力かつ選択性の高い中枢性α2アドレナリン受容体作動薬である.α2アドレナリン受容体作動薬は,鎮静および鎮痛作用,抗不安作用,ストレスによる交感神経系亢進を緩和することによる血行動態の安定化作用等,広範な薬理作用を示す.本薬はラット大脳皮質における受容体親和性試験において,α2アドレナリン受容体に対して高い親和性と選択性を示し,α2受容体への親和性はα1受容体への親和性よりも約1300倍高かった.鎮静作用については,各種動物モデルで,用量依存的な自発運動量の低下,正向反射の消失,鎮静スコアの増加がみられた.鎮痛作用についても,各種動物モデルで,用量依存的な痛みからの逃避潜時延長作用がみられた.本薬の鎮静作用に関する作用部位は青斑核であると考えられ,本薬を青斑核内投与することにより,ほぼ全例で正向反射の消失が認められた.また,α2A受容体変異マウスにおける成績より,本薬の鎮静作用はα2A受容体サブタイプを介して発現することが示唆された.本薬は,ほとんどが肝代謝を受け,血中から速やかに消失する.日本において実施された第II/III相多施設共同プラセボ対照二重盲検ブリッジング試験では,胸部·上腹部の手術後,集中治療室に収容された患者を対象とし,有効性および安全性を検討した.鎮静作用については,挿管中に治療用量のプロポフォール(>50 mg)の追加投与を必要としなかった症例の割合を有効率として算出し,本薬投与群で有意に高かった(本薬群:90.9%,プラセボ群:44.6%).鎮痛作用については,挿管中にモルヒネの追加投与を必要としなかった症例の割合を有効率として算出し,本薬投与群で有意に高かった(本薬群:87.3%,プラセボ群:75.0%).有害事象については,本薬群で高血圧および低血圧が主なものであった.

Waminoa sp. is an acoelomorph worm that infests corals and harbors two species of dinofl agellates, Amphidinium sp. and Symbiodinium sp.. These symbiotic algae are inherited vertically from parent to offspring during oogenesis. In this study, we established a method for artificial breeding of Waminoa sp., as the first step toward using Waminoa sp. in the study of the mechanism underlying animal–algal symbiosis and the evolution of this symbiosis. We developed a system in which an aquarium circulated approximately 80 L of artifi cial seawater between an upper aquarium and a lower sump, each of which was 45 cm × 30 cm × 35 cm in size and contained 40 L of seawater. Water flowed into the upper aquarium from the sump alternately through a pipe outlet. The upper aquarium contained the hard coral Symphyllia valenciennesii, live rocks, and a layer of fine sand. A 150-W metal halide lamp was suspended over the aquarium to aid photosynthesis. The system was maintained at a salinity of 32–33 ppt and a temperature of 23°C, on a 14-h light (17–50 μmol quanta m-2s-1) : 10-h dark photoperiod. We succeeded in producing almost every stage of the life cycle of Waminoa sp., including the zygote, embryo, larva, juvenile, and adult stages, independent of seasons. In addition, we developed an artificial oviposition procedure that involved isolation from coral in the mature stage. The system developed in this study will serve as a foundation for future studies on acoel–algal symbiosis.

The purpose of this paper is to figure out the characteristics and subjects in the Flea-Markets for the community revitalization on the precincts in Kyoto City, through the research for the recognition of the constituents (the administrators, the managers, the stall keepers, the visitors) about the three Flea-Markets. As the results of this analysis, it could conclude as follows. (1) In the Flea-Market, the stall keepers and the visitors share the meanings of the Flea-Market as the place for the communications and the recreations, and (2) the stalls of the amateurs play the important roles to make this characteristic. (3) It is needed for keeping these characteristics to accept the many kinds of the stalls, not like as the conventional stalls organization. And (4) it is needed for the management of the Flea-Market and making the varieties of the goods in the Flea-Market to make use of the network of the stall keepers across the communities, to make use of the resources of the community.
