本論文では, 耳の聞こえないろう者が出す発音の不明瞭な「ろうの声」が, 聞こえる人に「逸脱」として認識され, スティグマ化される現象を取り上げる.「ろうの声」は動物や怪獣といった「原始性」と結び付けられる一方で, 表象空間においては美化され, 感動の演出に使われてきた.しかし, こうした扱いと, かつて手話に向けられていたまなざしには, 類似点が認められる.今日, 手話が社会で肯定的に受け入れられている事実からは, スティグマ化の過程が社会の解釈によって大きく左右されることが示唆される.<BR>論文の後半では, ろうの親をもつ聞こえる人々の語りに焦点をあてる.この人々は, 親の印象操作を行う一方で, 親の声に対する自らの愛着も強調している.「ろうの声」に対する否定的な見方は必ずしも普遍的なものではなく, 聴者社会の規範を学ぶことで獲得されるのである.<BR>しかし, 「ろうの声」に対する聴者側の違和感は, 異なる文化や言語に対する違和感と違って, あまり表立って語られることがない「障害者を差別してはいけない」という道徳意識のためか, その違いはまるで存在しないかのように扱われやすい.しかし, 潜在的に生じる緊張感は, 聴者がろう者に深く関わるのを避ける要因の1つにもなっている.この違いを認識し, 聴者社会があたりまえに捉えている思考を見直すことは, 「文化」と「障害」の構造を考えるうえで有意義な視点を与えてくれるであろう.

電力のピーク需要削減や全社的なエネルギーマネジメントに向けて,オフィスピルや設備の電力,温度,空調実態など 5,000 センサ規模の情報を 10 分間隔で把握でき,複数ピルからの情報を集約可能なスケーラピリテイを持つ電力可視化システム (DKS) の構築,運用を行った.DKS の実装として,MongoDB を用いたセンサデータのセミリアルタイム集計,および HBase を用いたスケーラブルな大規模データ蓄積が可能な基盤を構築した.予備実験では,フィールドトライアルを想定した条件において,目標とするセミリアルタイム性,スケール性を満たすことを確認した.その後,1 ピルでのフィールドトライアルを実施し,DKS を用いた節電対策によってシステムの有効性を実証できた.

近年,自動作曲の分野で言語モデルであるn-gramモデルを用いた研究が多くなされている.しかし,メロディーの持つn-gram長は未知であり明確な答えは存在しない.そこで,本研究では階層Pitman-Yor言語モデルを拡張した可変長n-gram言語モデルを用い,推定したn-gram長に基づいて新たなメロディーを生成する手法を提案する.また,被験者実験を行い,その有効性を従来手法と比較・検証する.

Referencesと注It has often been pointed out that Descartes' metaphysical proofs (on Cogito, on the existance of God, and others) contained a circular argument or a logically problematic argument. One typical example of such a claim is the so called "Cartesian Circle". The purpose of this paper is to alalyse those metaphysical proofs of Descartes from the logical view point and to clarify some misunderstandings in the literatures of Descartes studies. For that aim we clarify his notion of "proof (or demonstration)" and the so called "rule of clearness and distinctness", from the logical point of view. In the course of our investigation, we also clarify the role of the notion of "memory" in his theory of proofs and knowledge. As a conclusion, we reach the view point that Descartes has a unique and coherent notion of proof, in contrast to some researchers' view point that he distinguishes two kinds of proofs, namely metaphysical proofs and scientific proofs.

航空機の小型化・航空需要の高まりとともに,航空交通管制官のワークロードは増加していく.管制情報処理システムが航空交通管制官の行う判断を模擬することができれば,それを応用した管制指示提案ツールにより管制官のワークロードの大幅な軽減に寄与することが期待できる.滑走路が唯一つの空港において出発機と到着機のいずれを優先するべきかに関する問題に関して機械学習理論を適用した結果を報告する.

Twitterを情報源としてユーザ属性を活用したブランド特徴分析手法を提案する.提案法ではツイートから抽出するブランドの特徴語と,自己紹介文から抽出するユーザの属性語の共起から,ブランドの特徴語毎に関係の強い属性語を獲得する.提案法は,特に新しい点として,周囲のユーザから該当する属性語推定手法を含む.Twitterの実データを用いた実験において、属性語推定手法はランキング手法に比べ良い結果を示した.提案法は,限定的な実験ながら,属性語推定を行うことで,特徴語と関係の強い属性語を数多く獲得することを可能にした.

A wind energy conversion system was assembled with a small-scale wind driven generator (Yamada type) of rated output 1 KW, storage batteries of 24V×600AH and fluorescent lamps. This system was operated for 333 days for the period Aug. 1982 to July 1983. In the average of daily energies, the wind energy of 13.1KWH was inputted to the cross section (11.34m^2) of rotating blades, 1.07KWH of which was converted to electric energy and 0.89KWH was used for the lighting. The relation between mechanical efficiency and wind characteristics was discussed. The mean generation efficiency and the mean transfer efficiency of the energy throughout the system were evaluated as 8.2% and 6.8%, respectively. From these further problems were discussed.

This paper discusses the differences in the character of "the Other" and "the Stranger." These concepts, especially "the Stranger," are meaningful for clinical psychology. "The Other" can clarify our identity naturally in the dichotomy of "you" and "I." However, "the Other" is as existence of the alterity which cannot contact forever for us. On the other hand, "the Stranger" seems to appear exceeding our control suddenly at the place where the boundary is ambiguous. It's shown as the Mebius suture type. In addition, an encounter with "the Stranger" seems to bring about the collapse of our old order, but also gives us a feeling of vitality. "The Stranger" appears as what supports our identity rather than appears as "the Other" who is not touched at all. There is greatly a meaning of treating about experiences of "the Stranger" in psychotherapy as well as about the topic of "the Other." In psychotherapy, it is important that psychotherapists listen to a client's narration of experience of "the Stranger" and help that a client makes experience of "the Strangers" internalize.
