舞台作品とそれを観る者―見せる者と見る者の場が有機的に結びつけられ上演されるということは、そこに劇場が舞台作品との間の関係性だけでなく、地域の文化において劇場がどのようにあるべきなのかということと関係している。劇場の近代化の過程における舞台と客席は、帝国劇場(1911)や築地小劇場(1923)で劇的変化を遂げるとともに演劇史、劇場史上においても画期的な視点を獲得していた。本論では舞台論と観客論に言及するため、劇場における芸術の捉え方を、舞台と観客との境界領域に焦点を絞り考察する。取り上げる資料は、アドルフ・アッピア、小山内薫など実践的な場に関わった演劇人の言説と、帝国劇場建設から築地小劇場建設を経て間もない昭和7年刊行『演劇学研究』所収の外山卯三郎論文「演劇学の対象と方法論的限界」を手掛かりに、劇場における「象徴領域」を内包する演劇の特質と劇場を拠点とする文化形成について考察することを目的としている。

臨床的に異常のないホルスタイン種の雌成牛を用い, 投与量を段階的に変更して塩化カリウム (KCI) の経口投与と静脈内注射およびL-アスパラギン酸カリウムの静脈内注射を行い, 牛に対するカリウム (K) 剤の安全な投与量について検討した.1) 8例の成牛に0.4-1.Og/kgのKClを水に溶かして経口投与したところ, 1.0g/kgのKCI投与の1例のみに発作的な全身筋肉の痙攣, 頻回の激しい下痢便の排泄および著明な流灘が認められた.心電図学的には, 0.9と1.0g/kg投与の2例でP波の消失とT波の増高が, また異常な臨床所見を示した1.09/kg投与の他の1例では, さらにQRS群とT波の持続時間の延長および心室粗動が認められた.2) 10例の成牛にKとして0.3-1.2mEq/kgのKCI液を輸液剤に混合し, 20分で静脈内に注射したところ, 1.2mEq/kgのK注射の1例のみに一過性の前肢の痙攣が認められた.心電図学的には, Kとして1.1-1.2mEq/kgのKc1注射の2例でP波の消失, T波とQRS群の増高およびQRS群とT波の持続時間の延長が認められた.3) 10例の成牛に, Kとして0.3-1.2mEq/kgのL-アスパラギン酸カリウム液を輸液剤に混合し, 20分で静脈内に注射したところ, 臨床症状を示すものは全くなかった.しかし心電図学的には, 1.2mEq/kgのK注射の1例でP波の消失, T波とQRS群の増高およびT波とQRS群の持続時間の延長が認められた.

In recent years, elderly patients with dementia have been increasing in Japan. It is currently estimated that behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) occur in approximately 80% of the elderly patients with dementia. As BPSD occur more frequently in elderly patients with dementia, the caregivers burden increases. Although non-pharmacological interventions can reduce BPSD in patients with dementia, antipsychotic medications have been used to treat severe BPSD. Physicians should be particularly careful in the use of antipsychotic medications in the elderly, which have been associated with dangerous adverse effects. Donepesil not only improves the cognitive dysfunction of Alzheimer disease patients, but may also relieve BPSD in these patients. Moreover, the effects on BPSD of yokukan-san, Kampo medicine, have been reported in elderly patients with dementia. A multicenter randomized crossover study, which we participated in, confirmed that yokukan-san is effective in the treatment of BPSD and that no rebound related deterioration occur after withdrawal of yokukan-san. The effects of yokukan-san on BPSD have been reported to influence gamma-amino-n-butyric acid and serotonin receptors.

Hitherto, it is commonly said in this country that Sugi (Cryptomeria japonica) may be subdivided into two subspecies or two types, namely Omote-sugi (Pacific type) and Urasugi (Japanese sea type). The former has roundheaded crown and straight leaves which are attached to twigs at obtuse angle. Its growth is rapid in young stage, but soon becomes slow, and is often injured by snow in northern district. The latter has conical crown and curved leaves which are attached to twigs at acute angle. Its growth is slow in young stage, but later becomes vigorous and continues without being injured by snow.In our survey of some natural forests of Sugi in the Chuhgoku Mts. in western Honshuh in the fall of 1956, we were impressed that the theory of subdivision above mentioned of Sugi is not well-founded sufficiently So we looked through literatures concerned, and concluded as follows.1. It seems to us that differences in the growth, which were observed formerly by some investigators, should not be due to "types" but to "varieties".2 . Crown type of Sugi were observed hitherto with no consideration of its site and physiological age, and results obtained till now did not agreeed completely. From these results we should not subdivide Sugi into two types.3. We think leaf type is useful to recognize genotype of Sugi, Among characters belonging to leaf type, angle of leaves attaching to twigs is useful specially, because it can be easily measured and its data obtained till now is not few. From those data and our recent observations, it seems to us that angles of leaves increase gradually from north to south following the situation of the natural forests, and also among seedlings in nurseries, from seeds gathered from many places allover in this country. This tendency of angle increasing is continuous and fairly irregular, so a distinct line dividing this country into two parts should not be given corresponding to the types of Sugi. There may be certain hereditary factor in Sugi which was influenced gradually in different degree following the direction from north to south in this country.

塩化ビニル (以下VCと略記) のモノマーに酸素を圧入すると, 一部は容易に単量体過酸化物を形成し, 亜硫酸ソーダ (以下SSと略記), 塩化第一鉄酸性亜硫酸ソーダと容易にレドックス触媒になることを知った。しかし, この場合も遊離の酸素は重合を抑制する, また, 酢酸ビニル (以下VAcと略記) の単量体過酸化物はVCの良い重合触媒となるが, メタアクリル酸メチル (以下MMAと略記) の過酸化物は全然触媒とならない。還元剤はSSが最もよく, トリエタノールアミン, ジメチルアニソンでは重合しないばかりでなく, 重合を完全に抑制する, この点が一般に用いられている過硫酸カリ (以下KPSと略記) や過酸化ベンゾイル (以下BPOと略記) の場合と異なっている。乳化剤はラウリルスルホン酸ソーダ (以下Na-LSと略記) が最もよく, 水重合ではほとんど重合しない。重合速度は添加する酸素の量を変えてもあまり影響がない。KPSと比べると非常にわずかなモル量の酸素を添加するだけで重合する。生成ポリマーの<I>k</I>'(Hugginsの係数) は一般に大きく, ポリマーの分岐が他の重合形式の場合に比べて多いことが考えられる。

「別れの曲」「子犬のワルツ」「雨だれの前奏曲」「英雄ポロネーズ」など音楽ファンなら、だれでも一度は聴いたことがあり、それがピアノの詩人といわれるショパンの作曲であることも知っている。ヴェートーベンの「エリーゼのために」やモーツアルトの「トルコ行進曲」と並んでポピュラーなピアノ曲であり、ショパン音楽の愛好者は多い。筆者は1973年に初代会長遠藤道子によって設立された「日本ショパン協会・北海道支部(札幌)」の事務局を、設立当初から青森県に移る1978年までの6年間担当した。ショパン協会では、国内外の一流アーチストを札幌に招聘し、レクチュアーやコンサートを開催したが、筆者はそのマネジメントを担った。アーチストたちのホールでの演奏以外に、人対人としてふれあい交わす言葉のなかから、一流芸術家の奥深い精神や哲学にもふれることができ、筆者の若い頃の大きな教訓となった。このことから学んだこと、ショパンの生涯を幼少期から青年期までとパリで活躍し生涯を終えるまでの18年間のこと、そして第16回ショパン国際ピアノコンクールの聴後感などについて述べ、ショパンの全体像に迫りたい。

The aim of this work is to develop a new assay system for screening biliary excretion drugs. When monolayers of human liver-derived cell lines HepG2 and Huh-7 were grown on an insert membrane, the efflux ratio (ER: ratio of the apparent permeability coefficient in the basal-to-apical direction (Papp,B-to-A) to that in the apical to basal direction (Papp,A-to-B)) of sulfobromophthalein (BSP), a model substrate of multidrug resistance-associated protein 2 (MRP2), was greater than 1.0, indicating transport of BSP in the efflux direction. The efflux transport was significantly suppressed by MK-571, an inhibitor of MRPs, in both cell lines. Expression of MRP2 mRNA in HepG2 and Huh-7 was 3.5- and 1.4-fold higher, respectively, than in primary human hepatocytes, while expression of P-glycoprotein and breast cancer resistance protein mRNAs was markedly lower, supporting the idea that MRP2 is the main mediator of directional BSP transport in this assay system. The advantage of our system is the potential to quantitatively evaluate biliary excretion of MRP2 substrates in vitro.

1) The transient heat transfer in precooling system with ice bunker and packed bed of fruits and vegetables is expressed Schumann's equations of heat transfer in packed bed with a particular boundary condition. The boundary condition is given as a constant ratio of the inlet gas temperature to the outlet gas temperature. The condition differs from Schumann's and Furnas', and is derived from the cooling characteristics of the column of crushed ice. The solution of this problem is expressed by a series in terms of coefficient of the exponent of the ratio with the integral which has the same form of Schumann's solution of integral. The series is rapidly convergent, so that the solution is easily computed using Schumann-Furnas chart. 2) The equation of steady state heat transfer of packed bed of rough rice is derived from Schumann's equation by adding heat generation term of respiration and removing time dependent term. The analytical solution is given and the numerical chart of the solution is made by measuring the heat transfer coefficient of the rough rice. 3) For calculating the cooling characteristics of rough rice in vertical duct, the equation of transient heat transfer is derived by the Schumann's assumption. The solution is given and transformed to the Furnas' solution by introducing two new variables.粒子堆積層の非定常伝熱に関する基礎方程式であるSchumannの方程式を,まず氷餅(アイスバンカ)と農産物堆積層をつなぐ循環冷却系の境界値問題として解き,氷槽による堆積農産物の冷却計算法を示した.次に基礎方程式を呼吸熱の発生する場合に拡張し,定常問題として穀物堆積層の呼吸熱除去のための送風温度,送風量決定計算法を導いた.最後に基礎方程式を極座標系で表示し,穀物の乾燥・冷却・貯蔵庫として一般に用いられているVertical ductにおける冷却計算法を示した.なおこれらの具体的計算に必要なデータを実験や文献により整理し計算図表を作製した.

This paper treats one of architectural works of Kazue Yakushiji (1884-1965) who had an active part in Okayama and Kurashiki under Magosaburou Oohara. He designed the Kurashiki-honmachi branch of Chugoku Bank and the former head office of Chugoku Bank, which are the most important works, before and after the tour in Europe and America. This paper compares the two from the viewpoint of changing his representation of design and evaluates the Art Deco style in the interior design of the former head office of Chugoku Bank that has been unknown. And it also proves a Japanese architect used the Art Deco style in the 1920s in Okayama.

東日本大震災が起きた3月11日、東日本の広い範囲で鉄道の運行がストップしたため、数多くの人が職場から自宅に帰れない「帰宅難民」となった。東北地方や北関東では、高速道路を含む道路が多数寸断し、復旧物資の輸送が困難になった。 震災発生時には、交通網の大規模な不通が避けられない。東日本大震災は、一般社員が勤務中の午後2時46分に発生したため、帰宅難民が発生した。
