マイクロプラスチック(粒径5mm以下のプラスチック粒子。以下MP)の生態系への影響や、生物濃縮による人体への影響が懸念されているが、MP自体の生体毒性を評価する基礎的データはまだ少ない。一方で、疫学調査ではプラスチック由来の化学物質と肥満や糖尿病の発症について関与が示唆されている。本研究では、糖尿病、網膜症、白内障、腎症を示すメダカを用いて、MP摂取が代謝系や病態、生殖機能への修飾因子となり得るかを中心課題とする。本申請研究により、ヒトへの外挿可能性を吟味した上で、衛生学・公衆衛生学的に意義ある基礎的データを得られることができると考える。

Phenology and biology of a total of 11 opilionid species were surveyed in and near Sapporo, Hokkaido. Most of the species showed an annual life cycle with overwintering in egg stage. Exceptions were Paraumbogrella pumilio having an annual cycle with adult hibernation and Sabacon makinoi with overwintering in both egg and juvenile stages. Compared to the phenological patterns of opilionid assemblage in Shikoku, southwestern Japan, those in Hokkaido were characterized by the absence of species with overwintering in juvenile stage. Among the species overwintering as eggs, species whose juveniles emerge earlier in spring tended to have longer juvenile period. Furthermore, in most of the species females reached adulthood earlier than males (protogyny). The protogyny seems to be rather prevalent in harvestmen of the superfamily Phalangioidea including Phalangiidae and Sclerosomatidae, although it has been only rarely documented in insects and other arachnids. Long reproductive period and multiple mating by females connected with presumable last sperm precedence might explain protogeny in harvestmen. Except for three soil-dwelling species (Sabacon makinoi, S. imamurai, and Paraumbogrella pumilio), all species changed their diurnal microhabitat preference from soil litter on the ground to upward herbaceous layer or tree trunks before they reach adulthood. Even in sexually reproducing species, adult sex ratios in the field often deviated from 1:1. Relative abundance between male and female changed also temporally, probably as a result of sexual difference in microhabitat preference and in reproductive behavior. Data on fecundity of some species and egg size of ten species were presented. Mucous egg sacs produced by two Sabacon species are described and illustrated for the first time. In addition, a new name Nelima suzukii is proposed for one of the two species of the genus Nelima, with some notes on their taxonomy and biology.

This study attempts to clarify the concepts of the sword in Shintou Sect doctrine by examining the book, named “Heiho jikansho” written by Mr. Sekihei Otsuki.The important part to note regarding this book is firstly the enormity and quality of core techniques that were described in writing and consigned to posterity, even though secrecy was prerequisite in the world of modern swordplay.Secondly, I viewpoints on sword concepts in terms of swordsmanship have been summarized in this book. Furthermore, this book not only explains sword techniques, but also our country's attitude towards swords, that have been established since ancient times, are narrated as a whole, not partially. Thirdly, the content of magical acts involving swordsmanship is recorded, which represents the uniqueness of this historical document. The largest discovery in concluding this research is that the artistry of magical acts has been maintained and conveyed in modern swordsmanship.As for the content of Shintou Sect artistry of the magical acts, the following was revealed:1) In the Shintou Sect, the magical act for exorcism was performed using a sword (s). The sword used for the artistry was considered to be the same as that of “Futsuno-Mitamano Tsurugi.” When an exorcism was performed with this sword, the relationship with a god named Takemikazuchi was an important element, which has been shown in our ancient mythology.2) This magical act of exorcism was performed in two directions, namely against an enemy one was actually confronting and against an enemy within oneself.3) The magical act of exorcism using a sword (s) consisted of two elements, which involved both physical movement and linguistic action.

ビタミンAは体脂肪量を調節する作用があることから、肥満の予防や治療に寄与できる可能性があるが、その一方でどの程度摂取すれば体脂肪量が減少するか、もしくは適正な体脂肪量が維持できるかは十分に決定づけられていない。また、ビタミンAによって体脂肪量が調節される機序についてもいくつか研究報告があるものの、まだ十分に解明されていない。本研究ではその機序を解明するにあたり、エネルギー代謝を調節する重要な因子であるAMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK)に着目し、ビタミンAによってAMPKシグナリングがどのように調節しているかを明らかにする。

Kim Busik’s Samguk Sagi 三国史記, History of the Three Kingdoms, dating from 1145 A.D., is renowned for including Japanese toponyms in the Korean peninsula and the north of Yalujiang district (modern Liaoning and Jilin Provinces). Kim’s work recorded the older, archaic toponyms before they were converted into sinicized (i.e. expressed with Chinese words) place names with two Chinese characters in 757 A.D. by the order of King Kyeongdeok. This paper maps specific words included in the place names of 783 locations for which the corresponding present places are evident. The following were words examined: (1) ‘river’ and its related words; (2) ‘valley’; (3) ‘mountain’ and ‘ridge’; and (4) ‘city’ and ‘burg’. Japonic-sourced toponyms are typically distributed in the central and northern areas of the Yalu River, primarily in the district of Koguryŏ; however, they go beyond these regions. The use of Chinese loanwords is noted in the southern area, where determining which language was spoken is difficult. In a town near Seoul, the stem of the toponym belongs to the Korean language, whereas the unit word belongs to the Japonic language. This usage may be attributed to bilingualism, whereby Korean-speaking inhabitants used their own language for the stem of the place name. Mongolic and/or Tungusic loanwords are also found. In some cases, determining the language origin of the current toponyms is difficult. Therefore, the minute geographical distribution of the origin languages is displayed word by word. These toponyms reflect the traces of indigenous languages and reveal that Japonic-speaking people still dwelled in the central area of the peninsula and in the northern area of the Yalu River at that period.

日本のCAPD患者の入浴の状況は, 腹膜炎やトンネル感染を恐れ, 満足できる現状とはいえない. 我々は細菌汚染の面から浴槽内の湯と皮膚の状態を調査し, カテーテル出口部の状態による入浴の可否と方法を判定する基準を設定し, 患者指導に役立てたいと考え検討した.<br>昭和55年6月より59年5月までにCAPD導入した15例を調査対象とした. カテーテル出口部良好患者6例における入浴 (院内浴場-番湯) 前後の皮膚の3部位の, 細菌培養を施行した. その結果を参考にして, カテーテル出口部の状態による入浴基準を3段階に作製した. 大衆浴場4件と一般家庭風呂5件の入浴前後の湯の細菌培養を施行した.<br>当院で導入した15例中8例で計21回の腹膜炎が発生した. この起因菌は黄色ブドウ球菌4例, グラム陰性桿菌2例, 他カンジタ, グラム陽性球菌, セラシア属, ナイセリア, アシネトバクタアニトリウス各1例ずつ, 陰性10例であった. 腹膜炎発症直前の浴槽内入浴は2例であったが, 出口部の状態も良好であり, 起因菌培養は陰性であった. 一般家庭風呂の入浴前の細菌培養ではグラム陽性桿菌2件, 緑膿菌以外のシュードモナス属3件, 菌検出陰性1件を認め, 入浴後では1件にアエロモナスハイドロフィアが検出され, また1件が菌検出陰性へ変化した. 大衆浴場4件中1件のみグラム陽性桿菌を検出したが, 一般家庭風呂とに菌種類に著変はなかった. 6例の出口部良好患者の入浴前後の皮膚の3部位において, 検出された菌種には, 入浴前後で変化なくグラム陽性球菌を高頻度に検出した.<br>CAPD導入患者15例中8例計21回の腹膜炎がみられた. 入浴後に発症した腹膜炎は2回あったが, 出口部状態も良好で起因菌陰性の結果から, 入浴が原因となる腹膜炎と断定する根拠はなかった. また腹膜炎患者6例計8回カテーテル出口部の異常を認めた. 以上から, カテーテル出口部の状態による入浴基準を作製し入浴の可否を決定しているが現在までに入浴によるトンネル感染および腹膜炎の発生をみていない.

「長期的な観点」に対する「長期的観点」のように,「連語」と交替可能な「臨時的な複合語」について,その語構成レベルの成立条件を解明すべく,"接尾辞「的」による派生形容動詞(「A的」)と名詞(「B」)との結びつき"に注目して,要素「A」「B」がその語種・品詞性においてどのようなくみあわせのとき,臨時的な複合語「A的B」になりやすいかを検討した。新聞の社説本文3年分における(交替可能な)「A的なB」「A的B」の使用状況を計量的に調査した結果,「A的B」が最も活発に成立するのは,「A」「B」がともに2字漢語の(非用言的な)体言類というくみあわせであること,また,このくみあわせは,4字漢語複合名詞や和語複合名詞の構成において最も優勢なくみあわせに一致・対応することが明らかとなった。このことから,連語と交替可能な臨時的複合語の成立にも,既存の(固定的な)複合語の構成のあり方が影響を与えていること,すなわち,要素のくみあわせが,既存の語構成において安定的・生産的なタイプに一致・対応するものほど,臨時的な複合語として成立しやすいのではないかとの見通しを得た。

Kato Kiyomasa became the Load of Higo (northern half of Kumamoto prefecture) in 1588 and the development of Kumamoto city began from that period. Choroku bridge was constructed under the direction of Kato Kiyomasa and it is believed to be the first bridge over the Shirakawa river which runs across the Kumamoto city from east to west. Because of swift-moving waters of the Shirakawa during the rainy season, this wooden bridge was demolished and reconstructed repeatedly. From the second half of Meiji era, people wished eagerly for a strong steel bridge against the flood and the former Choroku bridge was realized in 1927 as the largest steel tied-arch of Japan.This paper describes the design concept of the former Choroku bridge. The contextual meaning of the bridge site is discussed based on the research of documents and local news papers about the successive Choroku bridges and citezen's activities for the realization of the steel bridge. It is concluded that the understanding of regional sociological history as well as technological history are very important criteria for the evaluation for civil engineering structures

This paper presents examples of collaboration between anime producers and the Japan Self-Defense Force. By situating the transitions within the context of the broader trends in collaboration between anime producers and locations (namely, the development of contents tourism), the key turning point in anime producer - JSDF collaboration is be identified and explained. Then, the reasons why in recent years JSDF has been actively collaborating with the production of pop culture contents in the realms of fantasy and fiction with an anime fanbase will be discussed. What is happening in Japan today is a fantasization (= contentsization) and consumption of the military, rather than a 'drift to the right' or resurgence of militarism. The pressures to produce military or 'moe military' anime are driven by the market rather than the military.

The Longest Journey(1907)は、その作品としての評価が劣っていることは作者自身認めているのだが、書いたことを最も嬉しく思っている作品であるとも言っている。一つには作者の伝記的要素が非常に多いことがその理由であろう。この作品の英語は現代英語ではあるが、非常に分かりにくく、また、プロットが把握できない程に、人物の心理や情景の描写が詳細である。女性の描写が余りはっきりしないのは、作者のhomosexualityに起因しているかもしれない。とにかく非常に理解しにくい作品である。最初に梗概を述べ、次に主人公のRickieの友達であるAnsellの視点を追ってみた。哲学を専攻しているAnsellがHegelを読み過ぎたために、特別研究員の選考に失敗したことから、彼の物の考え方には当然その影響があると言えよう。「使徒会」の支配的な思想はG.E.Mooreの哲学であって、 MooreがHegelの哲学に反対していたことは当時の常識と思われるので、Ansellに関しての説明は思いつきではないだろう。 Rickieの運命に対するAnsellの見方はその立場から理解すると納得出来ると思う。少なくとも、自分にとって現在考えられる範囲において、この作品の意味が解明できる視点であると言える。
