時々刻々と変化するユーザの興味に連動して,提供する情報を変化させるために,ウェブページの閲覧履歴から短期的な興味のプロファイルを作成する試みが広く行われている.しかし,複数の短期的な興味をもって閲覧された履歴からプロファイルを構築すると,興味が平均化され,特徴が失われるという問題がある.我々は,この問題を解決するために,閲覧履歴間の意味的な類似性を利用してクラスタリングを行うことで,複数の短期的な興味プロファイルを抽出する必要があると考えた.過去の研究において,K-means法をはじめとしたクラスタリング方式により履歴を分類し,複数の長期的な興味を扱う方式が提案されている.しかし,これらの方式は,閲覧履歴が統計的な分布法則に基づいていることを前提としており,入力となる履歴数が少ないことが想定される短期的な興味抽出への適用は困難である.そこで,本論文では,入力となる閲覧履歴が少ない場合でも有効なクラスタリング方式を提案する.

本論文ではSNS (Social Networking Service)の投稿記事を地図や時間の付加情報と連動させた新しい時空間情報共有システムを提案し,このシステムのユーザ間の情報伝搬特性を検討したものである.具体的には,この時空間情報共有システムのプロトタイプを構築し,ユーザに1年間実際に使用してもらい,コミュニケーション支援実験を行って,実験から得られたデータからクラスタ係数や密度,平均パス長などの指標を用いてネットワーク特性の評価を行った.この結果,本システムに参加したユーザは41人で福岡地方に限られてはいるが,クラスタ係数は0.50以上,密度の値は0.80以上と高く,平均パス長が短いという結果が得られ,非常に密なネットワークを構築できた.これにより,ユーザ間のコミュニケーション支援に役立ち,日常的に情報を共有するライフログとして活用するシステムとしての有効性を確認した.

The identification of functional and non-functional concerns is an important activity during requirements analysis. However, there may be conflicts between the identified concerns, and they must be discovered and resolved through trade-off analysis. Aspect-Oriented Requirements Engineering (AORE) has trade-off analysis as one of its goals, but most AORE approaches do not actually offer support for trade-off analysis; they focus on describing concerns and generating their composition. This paper proposes an approach for trade-off analysis based on AORE using use cases and the Requirements Conflict Matrix (RCM) to represent compositions. RCM shows the positive or negative effect of non-functional concerns over use cases and other non-functional concerns. Our approach is implemented within a tool called E-UCEd (Extended Use Case Editor). We also show the results of evaluating our tool.

本論文では,ポジショニングサブシステムのマイグレーションを考慮したプラットホーム指向の歩行者WYSIWYASナビゲーションシステムを提案している.提案システムでは,建物内や建物付近の屋外でシームレスに動作し,かつ,WYSIWYASナビゲーションの実現に必要な位置情報と方向情報を他の位置特定手法と協調することなく取得可能なポジショニングサブシステムとして,タイルカーペットを用いたM-CubITSと可視光通信を採用している.大型商業複合施設内で目的地の名称のみが分かっている状況での移動を想定した評価実験では,提案システムにおけるポジショニングサブシステムの位置特定成功率,処理時間,移動所要時間,ユーザビリティについて評価を行っている.その結果,提案システムを用いることで,固定の案内板や手持ちの地図などを用いるよりも短時間で確実に目的地に到達できることから,提案システムの歩行者ナビゲーションシステムとしての有効性を確認している.

複数のプログラムが並列若しくは並行動作する環境では,プログラムの実行順序に依存してパスが定まる分岐が存在することがある.ソフトウェアテストでは分岐を網羅することが求められ,プログラムを繰り返し実行する手法が考えられるが,特定のパスを決定的に実行することができない.また,プログラムの実際の実行順序を知ることが困難であるため,実行順序に依存する分岐に関するテストを効率的に行うことができない.本論文では,テストプログラムからプロセッサの実行を制御することで,プログラム中の特定のパスを決定的に実行する機構を用いたテスト効率化手法を提案する.提案手法により,マルチプロセッサ向けリアルタイムOSであるTOPPERS/FMPカーネルにおけるプロセッサの実行順序に依存したパスを全て決定的に実行することができ,テストの効率化が可能であることを確認した.

This paper presents a new common-mode stabilization method for a CMOS differential cascode Class-E power amplifier with LC-tank based driver stage. The stabilization method is based on the identification of the poles and zeros of the closed-loop transfer function at a critical node. By adding a series resistor at the common-gate node of the cascode transistor, the right-half-plane poles are moved to the left half plane, improving the common-mode stability. The simulation results show that the new method is an effective way to stabilize the PA.

本研究では地理的に離れたデータセンタ間の負荷分散により消費電力を削減することを考え,特にネットワークの消費電力を考慮することの有効性について調べる.近年,サーバやネットワーク機器における電力比例性(energy proportionality)という性質が注目されている.消費電力の観点から負荷分散手法を適切に評価するには,電力比例性について考慮することが必要である.電力比例性が低ければ,消費電力は負荷の増減によってほとんど変化しないため,負荷分散による消費電力削減の効果は小さくなる.現在はサーバやネットワーク機器の電力比例性は低いが,今後の技術開発により向上することが予想され,それにより消費電力を考慮した負荷分散の有効性も向上すると考えられる.本研究ではこれまでの省電力技術の動向を踏まえてそれぞれの機器の電力比例性を設定して計算を行うことにより,現在及び将来においてネットワークの消費電力を考慮してデータセンタ間の負荷分散を行うことの有効性について評価を行った.

対外インタフェースがオープン化されているNGNにおいては,インターネットとテレコム網のサービスを連携させたWeb-テレコム連携サービスが利用可能である.従来のWeb-テレコム連携サービスは,Web端末によるアクション契機で,Web端末とは独立したテレコム端末に対してテレコムサービスが提供される形態が一般的であった.既存のインターネットユーザに対する親和性を考慮した場合,テレコムサービスもWeb-テレコム連携サービスの開始契機を与えたWeb端末にシームレスに提供可能とすることが望ましい.本論文ではテレコム端末機能と連携するリッチインターネットアプリケーションをWeb端末上で実行することにより,単一Web端末によりWeb-テレコム連携サービスを利用可能とするアーキテクチャを提案する.提案アーキテクチャは,テレコム端末機能を共通コンポーネント化し,テレコム網の詳細が隠ぺいされた抽象APIによって利用可能とする.共通コンポーネントをサービス利用時に端末に動的配備する方式と,外部装置に静的配備する方式について,プロトタイプ実装による性能評価を通じてその実現性を確認した.

Cognitive radio is an emerging technology to further improve the efficiency of spectrum use. Due to the nature of the technology, it has many facets, including its enabling technologies, its implementation issues and its regulatory implications. In ITU-R (International Telecommunications Union – Radiocommunication sector), cognitive radio systems are currently being studied so that ITU-R can have a clear picture on this new technology and its potential regulatory implications, from a viewpoint of global spectrum management. This paper introduces the recent results of the ITU-R studies on cognitive radio on both regulatory and technical aspects. This paper represents a personal opinion of the author, but not an official view of the ITU-R.

本論文の目的は,「ターボ概念」に関する理解を読者に提供することである.そのために,ターボ概念に基づくアルゴリズムの動作を理解する上で不可欠な相互情報量の伝達特性を評価するために便利なツールである,EXtrinsic Information Transfer (EXIT) チャートの概念を解説する.そのための題材としてターボ等化を取り上げ,現実性と柔軟性に富むSoftCanceller followed by Minimum Mean Squared Error filter (SC-MMSE)型ターボ等化アルゴリズムについて概説する.また,その特性を漸近特性と収束特性の両面から解析する.更に,合理的な拡張としてターボ等化の空間多重を行うMIMOシステムに適用する場合には,収束特性は多次元EXITチャートを用いて評価されなければならないことを示す.最後に,今後の課題や研究動向についても述べる.

近年,人間と対話を行うコンピュータ(対話エージェント)に関する研究が活発化している.しかし,その多くはチケット予約や道案内など特定のタスク達成を目的としたタスク指向型対話エージェントに関するものであり,人間と雑談を行い,話を盛り上げるための非タスク指向型対話エージェントの研究は少ない.話を盛り上げ,相手を楽しませる対話エージェントの設計のためには,人間同士の対話の分析が必要不可欠である.そこで本論文では,人間同士のテキスト対話中における,話者の盛り上がり度の高い発話をCRF (Conditional Random Fields)を用いて自動判定する手法を提案する.本手法では,大規模コーパスから獲得した共起情報を用いて,発話と発話の間の意味的なつながりの強さを抽出し,これを素性の一つとして用いた.実験の結果,提案手法は人手による評価に準ずる性能を示すことを確認した.

In recent years, wireless LAN systems are widely used in campuses, offices, homes and so on. It is important to discuss the security aspect of wireless LAN networks in order to protect data confidentiality and integrity. The IEEE Standards Association formulated some security protocols, for example, Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) and Wi-Fi Protected Access Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (WPA-TKIP). However, these protocols have vulnerability for secure communication. In 2008, we proposed an efffective key recovery attack against WEP and it is called the TeAM-OK attack. In this paper, first, we present a different interpretation and the relation between other attacks and the TeAM-OK attack against WEP. Second, we present some existing attacks against WPA-TKIP and these attacks are not executable in a realistic environment. Then we propose an attack that is executable in a realistic environment against WPA-TKIP. This attack exploits the vulnerability implementation in the QoS packet processing feature of IEEE 802.11e. The receiver receives a falsification packet constructed as part of attack regardless of the setting of IEEE 802.11e. This vulnerability removes the attacker's condition that access points support IEEE 802.11e. We confirm that almost all wireless LAN implementations have this vulnerability. Therefore, almost all WPA-TKIP implementations cannot protect a system against the falsification attack in a realistic environment.

Link prediction in social networks, such as friendship networks and coauthorship networks, has recently attracted a great deal of attention. There have been numerous attempts to address the problem of link prediction through diverse approaches. In the present paper, we focus on the temporal behavior of the link strength, particularly the relationship between the time stamps of interactions or links and the temporal behavior of link strength and how link strength affects future link evolution. Most previous studies have not sufficiently discussed either the impact of time stamps of the interactions or time stamps of the links on link evolution. The gap between the current time and the time stamps of the interactions or links is also important to link evolution. In the present paper, we introduce a new time-aware feature, referred to as time score, that captures the important aspects of time stamps of interactions and the temporality of the link strengths. We also analyze the effectiveness of time score with different parameter settings for different network data sets. The results of the analysis revealed that the time score was sensitive to different networks and different time measures. We applied time score to two social network data sets, namely, Facebook friendship network data set and a coauthorship network data set. The results revealed a significant improvement in predicting future links.

一般に,災害時に住民に対して提供される情報は行政やマスメディアから発信されている.このような公助的情報は広域にまたがり,あるいは,被害の大きな地域の情報に集中する傾向があるために,住民にとって身近な地域,あるいは,限定された地域における共助的情報の流通は難しいのが現状である.また,情報伝達の取組みにおいても,住民への伝達情報が,果たして住民が必要とする情報であるのか,住民が伝達情報をどのように活用しているのかなど,システムのユーザである住民の側からの評価,システムを使用する際の住民の行動についての分析は行われていない.そこで,本研究では認知心理学的なアプローチの導入により,災害情報収集システムを利用する人々が,「どのように情報を判断するか」について評価することにより,構築システムの最適化とシステムに求められる流通情報の特徴を明らかにすることを目的とする.これまでの評価実験の結果からは,システム利用時にユーザが必要としていた情報である,災害が起こった地域の場所や方向の安全/危険に関する情報を提案システムが提供できている点,災害時を想定した時間的制約のある状況においてもそれが有効である点がそれぞれ確認された.

Web上には,病気への対処法や料理のレシピなど,様々なノウハウが蓄積されている.そのため,ノウハウを知るためにWebを参照することが多い.しかし,既存のWeb検索でノウハウのみを検索することは容易ではない.この問題に対し,ノウハウをあらかじめ整理し,専用のWebサイトなどで提供することができれば,災害に対する予防策など,様々な事象への対処・対策の発見を容易にすることができる.本論文では,モノとその使われ方に着目することにより,ノウハウを獲得する手法を提案する.本手法では,まず,対象のモノを含むパッセージを獲得し,ノウハウの候補を抽出する.次に,パッセージに含まれる手掛り表現,及び,モノとその使われ方として用途表現を利用することにより,ノウハウ候補がノウハウであるか否かを判定する.実験により,ノウハウ獲得においてモノとその使われ方が重要な役割を果たすことを示す.

筆者らは,ソフトウェア開発プロジェクトの開発計画(スケジュールと開発を担当する要員の割当の)案を自動的に立案するシステムを研究開発してきた.工程遅延が発生した場合に,これまでは,クラッシングやファーストトラッキングに基づく対策案(工程遅延を回復できるような開発計画案)を自動立案する仕組みを研究してきた.工程遅延の回復方法には,クラッシングやファーストトラッキング以外に休日出勤による方法が挙げられる.これまでのシステムでは,休日を要員割当処理上の制約としては捉えず,全ての休日を単に割当不可能な日とみなし,非明示的に(つまり,アプリケーション上,変更不可能な対象として)扱っていただけであったが,この論文では休日を『要員割り当て対象日に関する制約』として捉え,原則として要員割当ができない日として,明示的に(つまり,アプリケーション上,変更可能な対象として)扱う.しかし,ユーザが指定したいくつかの工程のみは,休日も要員割当可能な日として扱う.これにより,特定の工程のみは休日にも要員を割り当てるような対策案を自動立案するとともに,提案した仕組みの有効性を検証している.

Photonic integrated circuits (PICs) produced by large-scale integration (LSI) on Si platforms have been intensively researched. Since thermal diffusion from the LSI logic layer is a serious obstacle to realizing a Si-based optical integrated circuit, we have proposed and realized athermal wavelength filters using Si slot waveguides embedded with benzocyclobutene (BCB). First, the athermal conditions were theoretically investigated by controlling the waveguide and gap width of the slot waveguides. In order to introduce the calculated waveguide structures to wavelength filters, the propagation losses and bending losses of the Si slot waveguides were evaluated. The propagation losses were measured to be 5.6 and 5.3 dB/cm for slot waveguide widths of 500 and 700 nm, respectively. Finally, athermal wavelength filters, a ring resonator, and a Mach-Zhender interferometer (MZI) with a slot waveguide width of 700 nm were designed and fabricated. Further, a temperature coefficient of -0.9 pm/K for the operating wavelength was achieved with the athermal MZI.

衛星通信において,将来の大容量伝送のための技術候補である光通信について述べる.これまでに衛星を用いて行われた実験の成功例を整理し,世界初を冠する三つの実験成果が日本の技術によって得られていることを示す.この中で特に,2005年に打ち上げられた宇宙航空研究開発機構(JAXA)の光衛星間通信実験衛星(OICETS)と情報通信研究機構(NICT)の協力で実施した低軌道衛星と地上局間の双方向光通信実験に着目し,その成果を述べる.大気の影響を被る光通信の実施結果とともに,地上局に備えた大気の影響を低減する手法の効果を示す.また,世界的にも検討が加速されている宇宙光通信技術について,現在進行中の計画と宇宙機関の会合で最近始まった標準化の議論について紹介する.

大規模な映像データベースからの人物を含む印象的なシーンの検索を目的としたシーン検出法を提案する.本論文では,映像中の人物に何らかの感情が表出しているシーンを印象的なシーンと捉え,人物の表情を認識し,表情に変化が現れたシーンを感情表出シーンとして検出する.まず,効率的に表情の認識を行うために,眉,目,口の端点などの顔特徴点の位置関係と顔画像の輝度値から高速に求められる特徴量を提案する.また,これらの中から有用な特徴量を選択し,認識対象の表情の種類に応じた数の表情認識モデルを生成する.それらをアンサンブル学習を用いて統合することにより,認識精度と認識速度のトレードオフを考慮した表情認識法を提案する.更に,映像中の各フレーム画像に対する表情認識結果から,表情表出開始フレームと表情表出終了フレームを特定して表情表出シーン検出を行う手法を構成し,提案手法の表情表出シーン検出性能の評価を行う.

In this paper, we have proposed a new method of observing walking traces, which can observe people's indoor movement for life-logging. Particularly emphasized new techniques in this paper are methods to detect locations, where walking directions are changed, by analyzing azimuth orientations measured by an orientation sensor of an Android mobile device, and to decide walking traces by a map matching with a vector map. The experimental evaluation has shown that the proposed method can determine the correct paths of walking traces.
