As a suppression tool for the noise due to micro pressure wave induced by linear motor trains, the array of Helmholtz resonators set inside a tunnel wall is discussed. The experimental study is carried out using a 1/200 scale model of the tunnel, where a PA driver is employed as a source for finite amplitude sounds of micro pressure waves. It is found that the shock formation distance is longer when the resonator array is provided. The impulse response of a single pair of Helmholtz resonator is taken into account for the numerical simulation based on the weak shock theory. The calculated result agrees well with the experimental result. We also show the way of estimation in absorption effect of Helmholtz resonator.

In this paper I investigate the mode of memory and style of life in early works of Furui Yoshikichi, a contemporary Japanese novelist. Contemporary society could be characterized by its indeterminacy. This indeterminacy appears on the level of everyday life in various ways. Memory is a point of view suitable for observing the indeterminacy of society. As H. Bergson once said, memory enables free action and creates the rhythm of life. But it is common that one's memory is interrupted and fragmented in modern society, which is driven by endless changes. Interruption and fragmentation of memory is a symptom of indeterminacy of a society. We can understand the latter by analyzing the former. The purpose of this paper is to consider the characteristics of indeterminacy in contemporary society through observing how their memories are interrupted and fragmented. This is the reason for why I focus on the mode of memory in Furui's novels. In Furui's works, relationships between contradictory values-such as life

近年,科学技術の進歩により航空機・リニアモーターカーなど輸送機器の高速化が進んできており,宇宙空間に目を向けると地上では想像もできないような超高速度での現象が多数存在している.そしてこの様な高速度状態において小さな物体との衝突では貫通問題が起こりうると考えられ,輸送機器の安全性に重大な影響を及ぼす可能性がある.そのためこのような貫通問題を取り扱うことは非常に重要であり,製品サイクルの短い今日においては,開発コストを抑えるため正確なシミュレート技術もあわせて必要になると考えられる.そこで本研究では,超高速衝突化における貫通の様子を再現するため,速度依存性を考慮した解析手法の開発を行うこととする.速度依存性を再現するため,本研究ではJohnson-Cookモデルを用いることを提案した.さらに提案された解析コードの妥当性を検討するため,実験結果との比較を行う.

This research considers the legend of Wu Feng, created during the Qing dynasty.I undertake my research with a critical mind towards the reasons why the legend of Wu Feng was created in Zhuluo Province (Jiayi), and further what kind of historical background a person like Wu Feng was born into, while incorporating perspectives of the immigrant history and history of development in Taiwan. In 2007 I edited and published through Ryokuyin Publishers 2 Volumes on A Collection of Related Documents on "Wu Feng," and 1 Volume on A Collection of Related Documents on "The Bell of Sayon," and maintained an ongoing interest in these two stories connected to the indigenous people pf Taiwan. Subsequently, in this present research, as a technical way of thinking, I examine the birthing process of "Righteous Wu Feng" keeping in mind the main factors which contributed to the creation of " The Bell of Sayon," namely, the following four points: 1) the period background, 2) the occurrence of the actual accident, 3) the elements of the chief characters and participants, and 4) the demands of the times.Whih these four points as a collective point of view, I examine a new approach to the birth of "Righteous Wu Feng."

近年,建設投資の減少による建設業界の過当競争を問題視して産業保護の目的から全国で最低制限価格を引き上げた結果,くじ引き入札が多発し,入札の意義が問われている.本研究は,オークション理論を通して最低制限価格の運用に対する政策的含意を与えることを目的とした.予定価格,最低制限価格を周知した対称入札について均衡解を示し,最低制限価格の引き上げが技術力の優劣に正逆する恩恵を施すという副作用を示した上で,比較対象として入札者の技術水準の反映が極度に非効率的なメカニズムを提示し,現行の施策がこれに劣ることを示した.また,(1) 非対称入札への拡張によって技術力の劣る企業ほど薄利で入札すること,(2) 最低制限価格の事前公表がない場合をモデル化し,ある条件の下では上記の歪んだ恩恵配分が依然として存在することを示した.

当該研究部門ではCDK(サイクリン依存性キナーゼ)インヒビターであるp57^<Kip2>の作用についてマウスやラットから分離した骨芽細胞における機能解析を進めてきた.その結果,申請者らは(1)p57^<Kip2>がTGFβの刺激で速やかに分解すること(J.Biol.Chem.,1999)と(2)TGFβ依存的なp57^<Kip2>の分解が,TGFβシグナル系の仲介因子Smad依存的な転写を介していることを明らかにした(J.Biol.Chem.,2001).その後の研究から,もう一つのCDKインヒビターであるp27^<Kip1>の動態と併せて解析した結果,TGFβ刺激はp57^<Kip2>の分解を誘導したが,、p27^<Kip1>の分解を誘導しないこと,さらにp57^<Kip2>の分解消失は細胞の増殖開始とは関係しないことを突き止めた.次に骨分化を誘導するBMP (bone morphologic protein)刺激を加えたところp57^<Kip2>の分解消失は認められない事を見い出し,さらにp57^<Kip2>がTGFβ刺激によって分解されるとBMP刺激による骨分化誘導が阻害されることを明らかにした(論文投稿中).これらの結果から,p57^<Kip2>のノックアウトマウスで報告された骨形成異常の生理的意義を説明することが可能となった.即ち,p27^<Kip1>とp57^<Kip2>のユビキチン化依存的な分解は,骨芽細胞の増殖と分化の制御に重要な役割を果たしていることが明らかになったのである.我々は以前にSCFユビキチンリガーゼの必須な制御因子であるUba3のノックアウトマウスでp57^<Kip2>が蓄積していることを明らかにしており,現在TGFβ刺激によって誘導される新たなユビキチンリガーゼ(E3)がp57^<Kip2>特異的なユビキチンリガーゼである可能性について解析を行っている.そして骨芽細胞にTGFβ刺激したさいに発現が誘導されるE3の同定に成功した。さらにこのE3がp57に特異的に結合すること、in vitroでp57のリン酸化特異的にユビキチン化を行うことを見いだし、p57特異的なE3であることを明らかにした。

Our contribution is to propose the method to augment food texture using sound AR system with crossmodal effect, to evaluate prototype implementation, and to confirm the validity of our system. There is cognitive scientific knowledge regarding the relation between food texture and sound. However, they are effective only in laboratory situations and are not suitable in everyday lives. Our research question is how the user interface design improves our daily eating experience and we focus on the food texture. Our hypothesis is that it is possible to augment the food texture by introducing sound in synchronization with the motion of the user's mastication. For this purpose, we have designed a device and software for detecting the mastication action and controlling the sound augmented reality system. Additionally, we have evaluated sound delay, frequency control, and effects of our system. And finally, we have demonstrated this system at a public conference to show the possibility of usage in a living environment.
