マラリアなどのベクター媒介性感染症の予防にはベクターコントロールが最重要である。しかし近年、既存の殺虫剤の環境や人体への悪影響、殺虫剤耐性蚊の出現などの問題から新たなベクターコントロールの開発が望まれている。そこで本研究では、次世代の殺虫分子として注目されている殺昆虫天然毒「ヴェノム」の利用に着目し、ステージ特異的ヴェノム発現原虫によるベクター媒介性感染症の制御法の開発を目指した。解析の結果、蚊に対して強い毒性効果を示すヴェノムが同定され、作製したヴェノム発現原虫のベクターステージへの伝播能が確認された。本研究により、ヴェノム発現原虫による新規ベクターコントロール法の開発が期待された。

入院中の高齢者において抑うつは疾患治療を困難にする重要な問題であるが影響を与える因子については明らかではない.65歳以上の入院高齢患者174名を対象に,Geriatric depression scale(以下,GDS)を実施し,性別,年齢,基礎疾患,居住形態,認知機能との関連を検討したところ,患者の居住形態がGDSに最も強く独立して関連し独居群は家族同居群よりもGDSが高く治療意欲の低下を支持する回答が多く,独居高齢者では入院中に心理的援助がより必要である.

The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that promote learning in middle managers through their experiences of developing new business. A questionnaire survey was undertaken on 371 subjects who had experience of being part of new-business departments as middle managers in private enterprises with over 300 employees. The analysis results revealed the following. First, an individual factor that promotes learning through new business development experience is learning goal orientation. Second, the organizational factors that promote learning through new business development experience are management support and work discretion. Third, a workplace factor that promotes learning through new business development experience is introspective support from one's superiors. Fourth, it was found that the factors management support, work discretion, and introspective support would act as intermediaries for the individual factor learning goal orientation, triggering the effect of promoting learning through new business development experience.

A methanol extract from grape seeds showed a potent antibacterial activity against Echerichia coli, Salmonella enteritidis, and Staphylococcus aureus. A responsible compound was isolated from the extract to be identified as gallic acid by instrumental analysis. Structure-activity correlation assays revealed that three hydroxyl groups of the compound were effective for antibacterial activity against E. coli and S. enteritidis and all of the substituents of the benzene ring were effective against S. aureus. Minimal inhibitory concentration of gallic acid against E. coli and S. enteritidis was 0.5mM and that against S. aureus was 0.3mM. Ethanol- and salt-containing foods cooperatively acted on the antibacterial activity of gallic acid.

In overseas universities many instructors have begun to use a classroom device commonly called a clicker, which allows students to respond to questions with small keypads. Students answer multiple choice questions projected on a classroom screen by pressing the keys of the clicker. It is reported that clickers increase the interaction with students and improve their learning, but few Japanese instructors use them now. I think we would benefit from the use of clickers but they are expensive. Therefore I made an inexpensive clicker system for testing in the classroom.

本稿の草稿は、第6 回韓日歴史家会議『歴史家はいま、何をいかに語るべきか?』(2006年10月27~29日 東京)のために作成され、その際に日本語訳が鳥海豊・邊英浩によって一旦作成された。その後、訳者は本翻訳用に著者の李泰鎮氏(ソウル大学名誉教授)に韓国語論文の修正加筆をお願いし、2010年9 月に完成原稿を受領し、それを底本として、上記日本語訳を参照しつつ改めて翻訳を行った。なおこの論文の韓国語版は、今現在発表されていない。著者の李泰鎮氏は、近年高宗時代史の一次史料の検討を通じて精力的に論考を発表してきた。その中で、日本が植民地支配を正当化するためにこの時代が悪政であり、日本が善政をもたらしたとする歴史観が作り出され、韓国の近現代史認識が大きく歪曲されてしまったことを明らかにしてきた。この論文では、(1)日本帝国主義による意図的な歪曲を概観し、(2)それを主導した徳富蘇峰の分析に相当量が割かれている。さらに、(3)この歴史認識は解放後もそのまま放置されてきたが、それは解放後の韓国で大統領となった李承晩の歴史認識に大きな原因があったことを解明している。(4)最後に北朝鮮の歴史学界と韓国の学界との関連にも言及している。今までの自身の研究成果を踏まえ、韓国近現代史像を総体的に再検討しようとするスケールの大きな問題提起論文であるため、ここに訳出した。なお訳文中の( )[ ]などの補足は特に断らない限り、原著者によるものである。訳者が補った箇所は〈 〉としたが、その旨を注釈部分などは訳者註などとした箇所もある。引用文献は原則として日本語訳したが、一部原文を並記した。日本語文献との混同を避けるため、韓国での出版物は【韓国語】、北朝鮮のものは【朝鮮語】と記した。
