本稿は,20世紀初頭に制度化された,郵便貯金をその主な原資とする大蔵省預金部資金の地方還元機能について,実際にそれが投入された事例から具体的に明らかにしようとするものである。大蔵省預金部の地方への資金還元機能は,先行研究においてその金融制度内における重要性が指摘されてきたが,それは制度史や統計的概観に関する分析に留まってきた。郵便貯金はその設立にあたって細民の生活保全を目的としており,預金部資金の性質には一種の社会保障的な政策側面が付加されていた。しかし預金部資金はその後,地方経済振興資金としても扱われるようになっていった。1909年に預金部の地方還元は制度化された。1914年に行われた預金部資金による救済融資は,凶作や天災といった自然事象に対する救済ではなく,それ以外の経済的危機に対して預金部資金が大規模に投人された初の事例であった。そこに本稿は注目し,この救済資金から多額の融資を受けた長野県の事例から,制度の発動とその利用過程を具体的に追っていくことで,預金部資金の実態とその性質を考察する。

We prove the Gross-Deligne conjecture on CM periods for motives associated with H-2 of certain surfaces fibered over the projective line. Then we prove for the same motives a formula which expresses the K-1-regulators in terms of hypergeometric functions F-3(2), and obtain a new example of non-trivial regulators.

The endogenous level of γ-hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) and the in vitro production of GHB in blood from healthy humans have been investigated. The endogenous GHB concentrations in aseptically collected whole blood samples ranged from 5 to 10 ng/ml, which were far below the previously-reported “endogenous” levels . Also, the levels of in vitro GHB production during storage for 16 months at 4°C were lower than 0.4 μg/ml, which were much lower than those in postmortem samples previously reported. Based on the results of this investigation, the authors concluded that an interpretative cutoff of 1.0 μg/ml would be appropriate for differentiating exogenous from endogenous GHB, if only limited to in-life blood specimens that were collected aseptically, stored at 4°C or lower, examined within two weeks, and excludes the possibility of GHB aciduria.

We recently observed that the weak near-infrared (NIR) band near 5260 cm–1 was relatively more intense for extra virgin olive oil (EVOO) than for refined olive oil (ROO). We also observed that its intensity was diminished upon heating and erroneously presumed that it may be attributed to volatile carbonyl components in EVOO. In the present study we demonstrate for the first time that this band is primarily attributed to a water O-H combination band. To accurately determine the intensity of this weak band, observed on a shifted and sloping baseline, we measured the peak-to-peak (p-p) height of its first derivative. An exponential calibration curve for p-p height versus gravimetrically-determined concentration of spiked water was satisfactorily generated. The calibration curve was first evaluated by using independent sets of gravimetrically prepared test samples. Subsequently, it was used to determine the moisture content, a quality parameter, for a limited set of authenticated reference olive oils whose quality and purity were confirmed by official methods. These concentrations, 0.098-0.12% H2O (w/w) for EVOO, 0.022-0.030% H2O (w/w) for ROO, and 0.028-0.054% H2O (w/w) for pomace olive oil (POO), were consistent with those reported in the literature. For 88 commercial products investigated, the moisture levels fell in the range from 0.026% to 0.13% (w/w). The correlation between moisture content and other olive oil quality parameters has been reported in the literature and has yet to be further investigated.

Demographic composition, e.g., population composition by age-groups, is one of the most basic information for discussing regional issue or planning. The present study compares the future Japan through 2010-2060, estimated by National Institute of Population and Social Security Research, with all municipalities in 2010 from the perspective of demographic compositions classified by fiveyear age groups (0-4, 5-9, ..., 90+). The (dis-)similarity of compositional data can be measured with Aitchison distance, one of the core concepts of compositional data analysis. We create choropleth maps based on Aitchison distance. The maps, for example, indicate that the demographic composition of Sobetsu-cho of Hokkaido prefecture of 2010 is the most analogous of the future of Japan of 2060.

<p>紙や絹を基底材とする絵画などにおいて,銅含有彩色材の緑青が使用されている文化財資料では,緑青により基底材の劣化が進行し,褐色に変色する「緑青焼け」と呼ばれる劣化現象が観察される.本研究では,室町時代制作の仏画であり,「緑青焼け」が顕著にみられる絹本絵画について,修理にあたり取り除かれた2層の旧裏打紙を分析の対象とし,セルロースの分子量分布に着目し,劣化の状態を調べた.紙のセルロース分子量については,2層の裏打紙ともに,「緑青焼け」の箇所において,無着色部分よりも分子量が低下していることがわかった.さらに,「緑青焼け」の影響がみられる裏打紙中において,無着色部分の裏打紙よりも銅Cuを多く検出した.顔料に由来するCuは,2層の裏打紙に移動し,これらが,裏打紙の分子量低下をも促進していることが示唆された.また,絹本絵画の水洗浄に用いた吸取紙においてもCuを検出したことから,Cu成分の一部が水溶性であることがわかった.</p>

国内の音楽ソフト産業は転換期を迎えている。市場規模の縮小傾向の中で、消費者の多様化、配信のビジネス化などの問題に直面し、メジャー各社は試行錯誤を繰り返しているように見える。しかしその傍でメジャーとは一線を画したインディーズ (独立系音楽ソフト会社) が活発化し始めていて、特に地域に依拠する企業の成功事例も出てきている。本稿ではそういった音楽産業の国内地域での産業化の可能性を、事例を挙げて考察する。

With the idea of integration of art, unification of art and technology, and teaching the whole man, the historical Bauhaus is still actual today.The purposes of this study are as follows: - Rethinking of the Bauhaus as a design movement of social reform and practice of wholistic education through art. - Finding new subjects for art and education in the multimedia age. - Focusing not only on technological argument and methodology, but also on cultural argument and ideology for research of `the expression through multi media'.The view of `techno culture' (e.g. club-scene, Love Parade, VJ) shows a new life-style with the unification of art and technology. It is important for art education in the future that techno culture as `sub culture' is sensitive to the spirit of the times, encourages experimental trials and proposes a new life-style.

江戸のまちにおける写し霊場 (33ヶ所) を取り上げ, 札所番号・景観類似・巡拝域などについて考察した結果, 本尊が観音である寺社のネットワークであること, 本西国との類似性を意識した演出法の存在, 江戸全域を巡るものと地域的に限られたものに分かれること, 都市像の形成を促す役割を持っていたことなどを示した。江戸西国三十三所 (上野王子駒込辺) の『案内記』を分節化し, 御詠歌が本西国連想の媒介であったこと, 景観的視点が重視されていたことを示すとともに, 現地景観体験と本西国の景観を連想する体験とが重なって成立しており, 江戸における写し霊場の鑑賞構造が, 虚実が交錯する中で部分的全体性を体得するものであったことを示唆した。

本海外学術調査は、ベトナムの野生イノシシと家畜ブタに関して形態的計測と遺伝学的解析により、東アジアに広く分布する野生イノシシや東アジアの家畜ブタの遺伝的な源流はベトナムにあることを検証することを目的として行った。平成14年〜16年の3年間にわたり、ベトナムの北部、北西部、中部の山岳地帯に生息する野生イノシシとベトナムの山岳少数民族にて長年飼育されているベトナム在来ブタについて調査を行った。形態的計測は、主に各部落の農家に保管されている骨や博物館等に保管されている骨について行い、遺伝学的解析は、骨から採取した骨粉のほかに、現生動物に関しては、毛根や肉片などからDNAを分離してミトコンドリアDNA(mtDNA)の多型解析により系統解析を行った。3年間でベトナム各地にて調査収集したサンプルは248検体であり、それを遺伝的に解析し以下の成果を得た。1)本海外学術調査のきっかけとなったリュウキュウイノシシの起源がベトナムであると言う仮説は、本調査により現在もベトナムにはリュウキュウイノシシと遺伝的に近い野生イノシシが生息していることが証明されたことから、上記仮説を遺伝的に検証した。2)ベトナムに生息する野生イノシシとベトナム各地で飼育されている在来ブタは遺伝的に極めて多型に富んでおり、東アジアの家畜ブタの基層を形成する遺伝子集団であることが証明された。3)ベトナムには粗食に耐えうる在来ブタから形態的に小さいミニブタまで広く飼育されていることから、東アジアのイノシシ属の起源にふさわしい遺伝子資源をベトナムの在来ブタは有していることが証明された。上記成果の一部は英文誌にすでに公表されており、平成15〜16年度に得られた成果については現在投稿準備中である。

近年, 幅広い応用が期待されるCCD (Charge Coupled Devices) が脚光を浴びている.本稿では, CCDをアナログ信号処理に応用する場合に必要な, CCDの基本動作, 回路構成, 特性について簡単に解説した後, 代表的な応用例について述べる.
