文法教育に関わる基本的な事項の調査・検討を進め、現在の学校教育における日本語文法教育の実態調査を進めるとともに、現在の日本語研究の進展状況を鑑みて、現在の日本社会において望まれる「生きる力」としての言語力を身につけるために必要な文法教育のあり方について検討を加え、実践的な提言に及んだ。研究成果は、以下の形式で積極的に公開を進めた。1)研究会の開催;科研費研究分担者を中心に、関連分野の研究者および現職教員が参加する研究会を期間内に4回開催し、現在の国語科における文法教育の実情や問題点、明治以来の言語政策と教科教育における言語教育との関連、国語科における作文教育と文法教育との関連等について意見の交換を行った。2)国際シンポジウムの開催;文法教育の面で共通する側面を持つ韓国の研究者と協力して、2002年と2003年に国際シンポジウム「韓日(日韓)の文法研究」を開催し、研究代表者・研究分担者を中心に基調報告を行い、意見の交換を行った。3)各種学会のシンポジウムへの参加;研究代表者が野外文化教育学会、日本国語教育学会、日本言語政策学会のシンポジウムにパネリストとして招聘され、研究の成果をもとに基調報告を行い、多数の研究者や現職教員と意見を交換した。4)研究報告書の作成・発行(『日本語の文法教育』I〜III)上記、1)〜3)の内容に関しては、論文の形式にして、毎年刊行した研究報告書告(最終報告書を含め3冊)にとりまとめた。全体で400ページ、33本の論文や資料を収録する。5)研究成果のデータベース化文法教育に関する研究論文データベース、戦前の文法教科書類データベースを作成し、一部を前記報告書に掲載すると共に、HP等でも公開した。

本稿は、民俗儀礼を起源とする俳句の季語を文芸資源と捉え、その形成の過程を論じようとするものである。七五三という儀礼は実は新しく、都市的な環境のなかで成立したものである。そして特に現代では古い状況から新しい状況へと変化することを示す儀礼というよりも、人生の階梯を晴れ着などで示す表層的な儀式という性格が顕著である。そうした七五三が文芸資源として俳句作品に用いられる際には、子どもの成長や晴れ着の着こなし、儀式のなかでの動きを切り取るものとして機能している。社会的な儀礼よりも一時的な儀式としての意味合いが強調される。一方、岡見は「堀川百首」の源俊頼の和歌における「をかみ」の語釈として胚胎し、近世の季寄せや歳時記の類にこの語に関する関心が引き継がれてきた。記録上は、多少のバリエーションがあり、担い手や方法に差異があるが、実際の民俗儀礼として明確に確認はできない。この語は俳句作品のなかでは年の暮の情景を示すものとして、さらには時間感覚を表出させるものとして働く場合が多い。それは幻想的であり、年中行事というよりも特殊な境界の時空をとらえるものとなっている。This paper considers the haiku season words originated from folk rituals as the resources of literature and examines how they have developed.One example is Shichigosan (a gala day for children of three, five, and seven years of age). This is rather a new ritual, established in urban settings. Today it is a superficial ritual to dress children up to celebrate their climb up the ladder of life, rather than a ritual to make a transformation from the existing to a new situation. When this ritual is used as a resource of literature in haiku, the word is intended to conjure images of growing children, their gorgeous gala dresses, and their behaviors in the ritual process. A focus is placed on the meaning of being a temporary ritual, rather than a social ritual.Another example is Okami (a ritual held on the New Year's Eve to tell a fortune for the next year). This was originated from the word "okami" referred to in a tanka poem of Minamoto no Toshiyori in Horikawa Hyakushu (Horikawa One Hundred Poems) and continued to appear in kiyose and saijiki (catalogues of haiku season words) compiled in the early modern times. Surviving documents indicate that there were some variations in who and how to perform this folk ritual though these details cannot be actually confirmed. In haiku, the word "okami" is often used to indicate year-end sentiments or a sense of time. The word conjures a fantastic image, suggesting the time and space on the boundary with a fantasy world, rather than an annual event.

Benzodiazepines are frequently prescribed for many diseases and are also most commonly involved in drug overdose. Although most benzodiazepine overdoses are known to be safe and nonfatal without co-ingestions, morbidity or mortality after benzodiazepine overdose is closely related with the duration of unconsciousness or depth of compromised airway. Proper use of flumazenil, a potent antidote of benzodiazepine, seems to accelerate the recovery from the toxicity after benzodiazepine overdose. However, careful attention and repetitive evaluations before and after flumazenil administration may be needed in benzodiazepine overdose because resedation occurs in approximately 30% of total flumazenil-treated cases, which suggests that the risk of aspiration or incidental death after flumazenil administration might be significant without careful monitoring. A 67-year-old woman came to our hospital unconscious 19.5 hours after clonazepam overdose, due to delayed detection. The chest x-ray showed focal segmental atelectasis on the left lung field. Before flumazenil administration, we examined the patient’s airway and assessed the presence of contraindications for flumazenil administration. Next, we briefly evaluated the Ramsay sedation scales (RSSs) and Richmond agitation–sedation scales (RASSs) using, in order, a loud voice, a light glabellar tap, and physical stimuli. Her initial RSS and RASS were 5 and −4, respectively. The RSSs and RASSs were repetitively evaluated before and after flumazenil administration. In conclusion, we successfully managed the comatose patient after clonazepam overdose using sedation score–based applications of flumazenil. Therefore, we suggest that repetitive evaluations conducted before and after the use of flumazenil may be needed in cases of benzodiazepine overdose.

Rollers are used widely in the transfer of the steel plate in steel mills. This method causes very loud impact noise because of the deflection of the steel plate and causes noise pollution in the labor environment. In this paper, the relationship between the impact noise and the impact force was examined. Also, a method for reducing the impact force was implemented in order to reduce the impact noise. The noise index was introduced to quantify the relation between impact noise and impact force. Dynamic and impact analyses were carried out using the finite element method. Experiments on impact were also carried out in order to validate the results.
