あい風という風が、日本海沿岸の各地で知られている。あい風はそれぞれの地の地形や気象で決まる局地的な風であり、風向も同じではない。しかし、各地のあい風には、A)海から幸せを運ぶ好ましい風、および、B)北前船のノボリの順風、という二つの共通な特徴がある。あい風の風向が、北海道から、東北、北陸、山陰と南下するにつれて、北寄りから東寄りの風にかわる事実は、特徴AとBによって説明される。あい風の典型例として、石狩のあい風が調べられた。石狩のあい風は、江戸時代初期、おそらく300年以上前から始まった物資の輸送や人々の交流、移住の歴史の中で、特徴AとBに沿うように生まれ、育まれてきた。石狩のあい風は、春、夏、秋に吹くさわやかな北寄りの風であるが、気象学的には、典型的な海風であることが、気象データの解析とドップラーライダーの観測から明らかにされた。

Background:Clinical use of fractional flow reserve (FFR) has been rapidly increasing, but outcomes after FFR-based coronary intervention in Japanese daily clinical practice have not been well investigated.Methods and Results:The prospective multicenter cardiovascular intervention therapeutics registry (CVIT)-DEFER enrolled consecutive patients for whom FFR measurement was clinically indicated. This study comprised 3,857 vessels in 3,272 patients. Lesions were categorized into 4 groups according to FFR result and revascularization strategy: group 1: FFR >0.8, and deferral of PCI (n=1992); group 2: FFR >0.8, then PCI (n=230); group 3: FFR ≤0.8, and deferral of PCI (n=506); and group 4: FFR ≤0.8, then PCI (n=1,129). The event rate for deferred lesions was significantly low compared with that for PCI lesions (3.5% vs. 6.6%; P<0.05). Vessel-related events occurred in 62 (3.1%), 11 (4.8%), 25 (4.9%), and 79 (7.0%) patients in groups 1, 2, 3, and 4, respectively. PCI for lesions in which FFR was >0.8 (group 2) showed no improvement in the event rate compared with a defer-strategy. On the other hand, deferred lesions with lower FFR values had a higher risk of vessel-related events.Conclusions:A FFR-based revascularization strategy in daily clinical practice was safe with regard to vessel-related events.

The quantitative determination of essential oil and cinnamic adlehyde was caried out on the leaves, bark of trunks, bark of branches, bark of roots of the Cinnamomum Loureirii Nees (Lauraceae) collected in Wakayama and Kagosima prefecture in Japan, and on the Cassia barks collected abroad (and brought to the market in Japan.) The determination was effected acordig to the method provided in J. P. V. with scant material a satisfactory result was obtained by the use of the essential oil extracting apparatus devided by the present authors or micro cassia flask. The quantity of essential oil and cinnamic aldehyde the collection. But as far as the bark of roots is concerned, the quantity compares favoures favourably with that of the Cinnamornum Cassia Blume, if the bark is fresh or stored in good condition. The refore, the bark of roots of the Cinnamoum Ioureirii Nees collected in Japan is valuable as vegetable drug.

本稿においては,交代級数の収束加速法に関する4つの話題について述べる.第一の話題はEuler変換の振動的関数の無限積分計算への適用可能性である.第二の話題は交代級数の部分和に対する(漸近)展開公式である.第三の話題はEuler変換vs Aitken加速(ler変換とAitken加速では,どちらが交代級数の加速法として有効か?)最後の話題は交代級数に対する普遍的加速法の非存在(すべての交代級数の収束を加速することはできない.)である.In this note we discuss four topics on convergence acceleration methods for alternating series. The first is applicability of the Euler transformation to numerical integration of oscillatory functions over the infinite interval. The second is an asymptotic expansion of the partial sum of alternating series. The third is the Euler transformation versus the Aitken δ^2-process (Which is the better acceleration method for alternating series, the Euler transformation or the Aitken δ^2-process?). The last is non-accelerability of alternating series (All alternating series are not accelerable.).

本論考は次の二点を述べようとしたものである。第一に、「進学解」の段落構成に対する先行研究の見解には二つの説が併存していたことである。この点については第一章で、三段落構成の作品と理解するのが主流であるものの、四段落構成の作品と理解しているものも存在していたことや、このような二つの説のどちらが妥当なのかという問題が論じられていないことを指摘した。第二に、他の作品との関係から考えれば、四段落構成説の方が妥当なことである。この点については第二章で、三段落構成説には三つの問題点があることを指摘した。三つの問題点とは、一つ目に、教師への尊称と理解すべきであるはずの「先生」を教師の自称と理解しなければならないこと、二つ目に、同一人物であるべきはずの後攻の話し手と最後の話し手が別の人物になってしまうこと、三つ目に、やり込められる者であるべきはずの教師がやり込める者になってしまうことである。これらの問題点は四段落構成説では解消される。したがって、「進学解」は四つの段落に分けて読まなければならないというのが本論考の結論である。
