健常人の腸は, 常在菌叢, 腸管上皮, 腸関連リンパ組織より構成されている. 免疫反応の主たる場である腸関連リンパ組織は, 常在菌叢や食餌由来の抗原には反応を起こさず, 一方で, 外来病原微生物には効率よく免疫反応を惹起しなければならない. この一見逆説的なホメオスターシスの構築や維持に樹状細胞が重要な役割を担うことが明らかになりつつある. 本稿では, 腸のホメオスターシスの構築や維持における樹状細胞の役割を, 常在菌叢や腸管上皮の役割と関連付けながら概説する.

This report has discribed the working of Mojia's Fei Ming on the history of thought in the age of the Warring States and that of Chinese thought.The model of hierarchy of Ming (命) in Zhou (周) dynasty that had been stabilized by substantiating the idea of Tian Ming (天命) resulted from Heaven's Will not only had justified the royal power of Zhou,but also had obstructed the emergence of another King to surpass Zhou Wang (周王).But Mojia's logic of Fei Ming that denied the real existence of Ming and Tian Ming let lose the justice of the model of the hierarchy of Ming ,that school brought up the new model of the hierarchy of Yi (義) that meant the principle of public profit. Therefore we can say what let the feudal lords at the age of the Warring States who had been the subjects of Zhou Wang be able to call King (Wang (王)) was just this logic of Fei Ming.The logic of Fei Ming on the alternation of royal powers has been working as the theories of Shan Rang (禅譲) and Fang Fa (放伐). furthermore has composed the idea of Qi Yi (起義) that means founding Yi (義) began to conquer the world of Tian xia (天下). This idea of Qi Yi is able to communicate with thatof Revolution

Squire's theorem is fundamental in a fluid stability theory. This theorem asserts that in a parallel flow, the critical Reynolds number for 3-dimensional (3-D) disturbances is always greater than that for 2-D disturbances. This report attempts to give a proof of Squire's theorem in a constructive approach. A process of the proof itself gives a method of a stability analysis for 2-D parallel flows. The stability of fundamental flows, I. e. a plane Poiseuille flow and a Couette flow, are invenstigated by the method. These results give a good agreement with previous one.

Tea from all over the world belongs to the same species, "camellia sinensis" and is classified according to differences in processing methods. In China, the country of origin for tea, the habit of drinking tea spread widely during the Song Dynasty (960-1279). During this era, valuable tea was Gong cha (Tribute tea: for offering to the Imperial court), in particular, Fanning tea (solid tea) derived from Pian cha in the Tang Dynasty was used. During the Song Dynasty, tea competitions further increased the popularity of tea among the general population. This gradual change in fashion may be considered as one of the factors responsible for the increased processing of tea during this era. The present research investigates the production, processing, and distribution of tea as depicted in literature, including pictures and statistical records, from the Song Dynasty. In addition, the relationship between competition and processing of tea is discussed. (Waseda Journal of Human Sciences, 18 (2) : 47-61, 2005)

2001年1月4日。アスクル社員は21世紀の仕事始めを新しいオフィスで迎えた。東京・江東区辰巳にある同社の物流センターの5階部分を改築したオフィスの床面積は1000坪(約3300m2)。窓からは東京湾を望み、空調用のパイプが這う高い天井が倉庫の名残をとどめる。体育館を思わせる広いフロアには全長50mのブリッジが架けられ、オフィス全体を俯瞰できる。

In operant therapy with autistic children, chocolate or juice is usually used as a reinforcer. Using physical contact stimuli, such as holding the child in one's arms or carrying the child on one's back, we were able to get good results. We will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of such procedures.

ロボット用画像認識システムを容易に実現するために,ハードウェアオブジェクト(hwObject)モデルを用いたhw/sw複合体システムを提案する.hwObjectモデルでは,FPGAにロードされる仮想回路(hwNet)が既存のソフトウェア開発環境にライブラリとして組み込まれる.本研究では,カラー画像によるステレオマッチング及び追跡動作をするアプリケーションの実装を行った.汎用PCx1, hwModuleボードx1 (200kゲート規模のFPGA x3,ローカルメモリ1MByte x3を実装したPCIボード)の実機テストにて,15[frame/s]の画像処理結果が得られた.複数の仮想回路による並列分散処理で浮いたプロセッサリソースを更に高度で複雑な処理に振り向けることが可能である.
