交通事故の多くはドライバの心身状態に起因しており,ドライバモニタリングは事故を未然に防ぐための予防安全技術において特に重要である.運転中の会話や思考のような認知負荷状態は潜在的な危険をはらみ,多くの交通事故を引き起こす原因となっている.これまでの研究により,認知負荷状態の識別は行われているが,その程度による多クラスの識別までには至っていない.本研究では多値判別法としてECOC法を用い,ドライバの生体情報を特徴量として認知負荷状態の度合いに応じた多クラス識別手法を提案する.2つの手法を用い,識別性能を高めるために最適な特徴量の組み合わせ及び識別手法について考察を行ったところ良好な結果を得た.

本報告では,複数の定数領域をもった区分線形出力関数を有するセルラーニューラルネットワークを提案する.元来,セルラーニューラルネットワークは,2つの定数領域を有する区分線形出力関数によって構成され,その画像処理は,2値に限定されていた.それゆえ,本報告で提案する方式は,セルラーニューラルネットワークの可能性を拡大すると考えられる.ここで,安定性の議論及び基本的な回路構成が与えられる.また,ノイズヘの耐性を強化するために,ヒステリシス特性が出力関数に対して考慮される.

The aim of this paper is to examine the dominant role of educational system in the modern society by clarifying the concept of "cultural capital" proposed by Pierre Bourdieu. For this purpose, we firstly made clear how the "cultural capital" is formed from ordinary "pratique" by analyszing four aspects of "habitus". We then described three states of specific cultural capitals, and we argued that each of these capitals is based on "value of rarity" and becomes more or less a cultural capital in the institutionalized state (or, alchimie proprement sociale). And finally, we made clear a mechanism by which the distribution of cultural capital is controlled through a state-regulated examination system.

An initial design of an advanced control system for an industrial crystallizer train is addressed. The target process is a part of para-xylene production process, and it consists of five scraped surface crystallizers, two centrifugal separators, and two hydrocyclones. An operation policy is derived by solving a constrained nonlinear optimization problem on the basis of a nonlinear process model. Multiloop and multivariable control systems are designed to realize the derived operation policy and their performances are compared through simulation studies. The process is found to be highly interacting and constraint switching is likely to occur under operation condition changes, so that application of constrained multivariable model predictive control may be well justified. The procedures demonstrated in this study will help perform a feasible study for unconventional applications of advanced control technology.

生産工程の故障分布が指数分布に従うとの仮定のもとで, 工程管理を経済的に実施するためのX^^-管理図の設計とサンプリング間隔の決定に関する研究は数多くなされている.最近では, 与えられた需要率と生産率のもとで, 段取りコストと在庫保持コストの総期待コストを最小にする最適な生産サイクルタイムと経済的な生産量を決定する研究がなされている.本研究では, これら2種類の研究を統合した新たなモデルについて考究する.具体的には, 生産工程の故障分布がワイブル分布に従う場合を対象として, 工程管理コストに, 段取りコストと在庫管理コストを加えた単位時間当たりの総期待コストを最小にする最適なX^^-管理図, サンプリング(検査)間隔, 生産サイクルタイムと経済的な生産量の同時決定について論じる.そのさい, 管理図で工程異常の警告が観察されたときに, 異常原因を生産を継続しながら調査する場合と生産を停止して調査する場合の両者についても比較・検討する.

Locke's theory as a contractarian has a great influence on the debates about social justice between "liberalism" and "libertarianism" yet. Even have many differences of opinions in those, they almost depend on the "natural law" and "natural right" elaborated by Locke when he tried to defend the "liberty" against an authority of the king. This reason is that they believe Locke's natural jurisprudence and ideas of "liberty" and "right" are set in the Declaration of Independence. It's nothing to be surprised at this, so now I intend not to doubt this fact, and that, not to convict their debates as pointless.<br> I suggest that "liberty", "right" and "justice" can be also defended philosophically by a school of thought in the eighteenth century other than Locke's, no matter how we estimate his influence on the then America. Directly and frankly professing, I regard the Scottish Enlightenment as functioning that role in the century, and its significance has still lived under the debate about the idea of social justice.<br> I place a special emphasis on the point that Scottish thinkers, especially David Hume and Adam Smith, had defended the America outside the theory of contractarianism involved with liberalism and Libertarianism. It shows that "justice" intrinsically exists in a relationship, in other words "convention" and it can not be discovered in the contractual lawmaking way but in the judiciary way reflecting sense of justice, or moral sense, because law of justice will be expanding over the domain of human rationality of economical worldview.

本稿の目的は,1970年代後半以降の高校教育課程の特質の一端を提示することである。本稿では,社会系教科(「社会科」「地理・歴史」「公民」)を主な考察対象とし,その「教科体系」(教科内の科目の構成)の展開を,高校教育課程全体の変化や教育課程編成の類型の視点から歴史的理論的に検討して,「未履修」の背景を考察する。考察の結果,1970年代後半以降の高校教育課程の特質として,科目選択論理の単純化があげられた。また,「未履修」の背景として,次の二点が明らかとなった。一点目は,1989年版高等学校学習指導要領で「選択・必修混成型」ともいうべき「教科体系」をもつ社会系教科が導入され,履修パターンの意義づけが困難化したことである。二点目は,1990年代以降,高校社会系教科の必修科目数の増加で,高校進学者や授業時数および大学入試の動向と,教育課程編成方針との乖離が大きくなったことである。

本研究は,ニホンザル成体メス間のグルーミングが持続する要因を明らかにすることを目的とした。餌付け群である嵐山E群の成体メス10個体を対象に,個体追跡法により,グルーミングの開始から終了までを時系列に沿って観察した。その結果,グルーミングの開始から終了まで観察できた大半のエピソードで役割交代がなかった。一方,役割交代の回数が増えると持続時間が長くなる傾向があった。役割交代が何度も起こったエピソードでは,血縁個体間ではグルーマーがグルーミングをやめて,相手にお返しのグルーミングを催促して交代するやり方が二者間で連続して起こった。非血縁個体間では,グルーマーがグルーミングをやめる前に,グルーミーが自主的に相手にグルーミングしようとして交代するやり方が二者間で連続して起こった。ニホンザルは相手が血縁個体か非血縁個体かによって,役割交代時の行動を変化させていることが示唆された。
