本研究は、1994年の経済政策によって規制が緩和され、増加したビール・発泡酒のマイクロブルワリー(以下、MB)に着目し、MBが地域とどのように、どのような繫がりを構築しているかについて明らかにすることを目的とする。アンケート調査より、マイクロブルワリーは製造工程、提供工程、さらには提供空間で多様な地域との繫がりを構築していることが明らかになった。さらにヒアリング調査より、MBと地域の繋がりはMBが自ら繋がりを構築するものと、地域内の主体からの依頼によって構築されるものがあり、地域産品の活用や観光客誘致、住民のコミュニティ創出など多様な役割を果たす可能性を有していることが示唆された。

This paper compares the taxation system of the Ryukyus with that of Japan proper in their respective early-modern era. The taxation system called kokudaka-system, which has its levy basis on productivity of cultivated land, was common in the early modern Japan proper. Meanwhile, the taxation system in the Ryukyu Islands that former the Ryukyuan Kingdom, was different from kokudaka-system. Satsuma-han, one of Japanese political powers, conquered the Ryukyus in 1609 and conducted a thorough survey of the islands. Satsuma-han decided kokudaka of the Ryukyus, and tried to force the local people to pay tax based on kokudaka. Despite the invader's vision, the kingdom did not apply kokudaka as its levy system; the kingdom ordered its people to pay tax by products such as rice and beans. Upon the order of the kingdom administration, leaders of the local areas (magiri and mura) commanded their farmers to produce rice and beans, or substitutive products such as brown sugar and textile goods. Focusing on these "substitutes", the paper argues that what farmers in the early-modern Ryukyus paid as tax was rather "labor" than "product".

The occurrence of earthquake ground motions exceeding the assumed design level may lead to plasticization of the superstructure of seismically isolated buildings. It is known that the plasticization of the superstructure is accompanied by a rapid development of deformation (quasi-brittle). In this paper, the relationship between the Ds value and the ductility factor is determined using incremental dynamic analysis, and the nature of quasi-brittle is quantified by formulating this relationship. Furthermore, seismic safety evaluation method for the limit state of seismic isolation layer and superstructure in seismically isolated buildings is proposed using this relationship.

In this paper, the safety margin of seismically isolated buildings (SIBs) is probabilistically evaluated using Incremental Dynamic Analysis (IDA), and the effect of laminated rubber bearing’s hardening characteristics on the safety margin of SIBs is also verified quantitatively. As a result, since the non-consideration of hardening characteristics overestimates the safety margin, it is important to consider the hardening characteristics in the evaluation of superstructure’s safety margin. Also, tendency of the safety margin probabilistically evaluated by IDA under numbers of actual ground motions is showing high consistency with tendency of that under general design ground motions.

近年、LGBTを含む性的マイノリティに対する関心が高まっている。既存研究の多くは質的調査法を用いており、社会全体における性的マイノリティに対する意識、人口集団としての性的マイノリティの実態や、その生活状況に関する統計は限られている。数少ない量的調査法を用いた研究では、クィア理論など性のあり方を考える上で長く蓄積されてきた知見が軽視されている。本研究ではクィア理論的視点から性的マイノリティに対する社会意識、性的マイノリティ人口の複雑性・多面性、性的マイノリティと階層・不平等に関する計量社会学的分析を行う。本研究は、批判的人種理論を含む批判理論と量的方法論の接合を目指す国際的学術潮流の一部である。

放射性廃棄物を処分する場合に,自然環境中に存在する自然放射性核種との関係をどのように考えればよいか,その観点から諸外国における放射性廃棄物の取り扱いをまとめた。また,1980年代にDe Minimisとして世界が概念を共有していた,取るに足らない放射能に対する考え方,及び,それを世界が合意した免除,クリアランスといった概念の構築についてまとめた。さらに,放射性廃棄物の処分や免除,クリアランスについて,各国がどのように制度化したのか,そして,この制度化に当たり,ウラン核種を代表とする自然放射性核種がどのように関係しているか確認する。

自然体験による市民の環境保全に対する意欲の増進が求められている現在,親世代が子ども達に向けて自然体験を教え伝えていくという自然体験の世代間伝承が重要である。本研究では,自然体験の世代間伝承に関する既往研究の知見の頑健性を高めるために,親世代である子育てをしている市民の中で自然体験の伝承を実行する傾向にある集団を明らかにした。全国の子どもがいる市民を対象にオンラインアンケートを行った(n=2,265)。家庭で自然体験の伝承を最も実行している集団は,自然体験の効果を非常に体感している人々であった。地域社会については,未成年時に地域で行われている自然体験活動に参加したことのある人々であった。

In the early 1950s, Himeji City aimed to establish a radio broadcasting station managed by the city. It was very unique in the history of Japanese broadcasting. Actually, however, this movement was not successful. Its failure was caused by the following factors: a political change in the broadcasting bureaus of Japan; technological constraints; and conflict of opinions between the local residents and the local bureaucrats leading the movement. By analyzing the movement, this article tries to elucidate the process that eliminated the possibility of diversification in the development of Japanese broadcasting industry.

In the field of HAI, the “model of others” is widely researched and used. In this paper, the author pointed out the problems of the “model of others” based research. These problems are as follows: inconsistency of real-world interaction, the problem about synchronous and asynchronous, and ethical problems. The author discusses these problems and suggests the prospect of updating the “model of others”.

The purpose of this research was to consider the effectiveness of intra-individual evaluation (teacher's evaluation) on students' intrinsic motivation, and to compare the relative effectiveness of intra-individual evaluation, absolute evaluation, relative evaluation, and non-evaluation and to reconfirm the effect of the intra-individual evaluation and self-evaluation on intrinsic motivation. Two experiments were conducted in first grade classes of a junior high school. Experiment I demonstrated the effectiveness of the intra-individual evaluation on students' intrinsic motivation when compared with absolute evaluation, relative evaluation, and non-evaluation. Experiment II examined the effect of teacher evaluation, and student self-evaluation on intrinsic motivation. The results yielded significant main effects of teacher evaluation and student self-evaluation on students' intrinsic motivation. The results suggested that it was important to consider both teacher evaluation (intra-individual evaluation) and self-evaluation to enhance students' intrinsic motivation

We have been conducting research to explore new materials and their use in batteries by pursuing the phenomenon of high ion diffusion in solids. Lithium ion conducting materials have been particularly explored because of their potential application to all-solid-state batteries with high energy density. In addition to an overview of lithium ionic conductors, we will review the material search process for Li10GeP2S12, which exhibits particularly high ionic conductivity. We will also review the research that clarified the formation region of this material, investigated the ionic conduction mechanism, and applied this material to all-solid-state batteries.
