Rising unit costs have been a major source of recent increases in local public expenditures. It is very important for local government to improve productivity in the production of public goods and services. In this study we tried to measure differences in the productivity among cities in Osaka Prefecture and found there were very big productivity gaps among cities. Local government should produce public goods and services in the cheapest possible manner in order to increase the welfare of citizens.

The first chiral isoxazoline ligands bearing spiro skeleton are developed. The spiro bis (isoxazoline) ligands (SPRIXs) are readily synthesized from diethyl malonate <I>via</I> double intramolecular nitrile oxide cycloaddition as a key step. The complex of (<I>M, S, S</I>) -R-SPRIX and Pd (OCOCF<SUB>3</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB> promoted the catalytic asymmetric Wacker-type cyclization of alkenyl alcohols to give optically active cyclic ethers for the first time. Furthermore, starting from dialkenyl alcohol, the enantioselective tandem cyclization <I>via</I> oxy-palladation was achieved with up to 95% ee. Asymmetric ligands other than SPRIXs promote neither the Wacker-type reaction nor the tandem reaction.

本論文では、加算器の形式別の消費電力・面積・速度の比較結果について報告する。今回報告する加算器の形式は、Ripple carry adder, Carry look-ahead adder, Carry select adder, Carry skip adder, Carry save adder, Hybrid adderの6形式である。形式別に加算器を設計し、速度、面積、消費電力についてシミュレーションを行うことにより、システムを構築する際に最も適した演算形式を選択するための参考データを得る。

本稿は, 日中戦争末期の1945 年1 月に重慶で開催された「現代絵画聯展」に注目し, それを戦時中の中国モダニズム美術による一つの集約として考え, その具体像を再現するとともに, 中国美術におけるモダニズムの規範, そして時代・政治的状況とともに変わっていく美術史的言説による作家・作品評価及びその歴史化の様相について検討するものである。「現代絵画聯展」はおそらく戦時中におけるモダニズム志向の最大規模の美術展であるにもかかわらず, 現在までそれに触れた著作は, それをいわゆる「重要な現代美術展であった」と捉えているものの, 作家名以外の具体的な状況に全く言及していない。そして, 歴史的事象の選択による近現代美術史の編成においては, 日中戦争中をモダニズム美術の「空白期」として扱う傾向が見られる。それらの既往研究を踏まえ, 本稿では, 林風眠・倪貽徳・龐薫琹・関良を中心とする出品作家の戦時中の活動を辿り, その帰結とも言える「現代絵画聯展」の具体像を再現することを試みる。その再現作業を通して, 戦時中におけるモダニズム美術の転換, そして同時代の言説空間から窺えるそのあり方について考察する。それは, 当時の美術界の「生態系」の様相を浮かび上がらせることによって, モダニズム志向の画家群と両立していた宣伝美術や伝統美術に従事する人たちをめぐる政治的空間, 複数の「近代」の成立についての検証である。さらに, 「現代美術聯展」に関する戦後から現在にわたる美術史的言説の変遷について考察する。1949 年から1980 年代までのその展覧会に参加した画家本人の「忘却」, それに相反する1990 年代以降の美術史の再編における展示や作家たちに対する拡大しつつある評価, などの事象を検討することを通して, 戦時中のモダニズム美術に対する歴史化の様相を明らかにし, 「近代化」の論理で語られる1990 年代以降の美術史的言説と, 制作領域におけるモダニズムの「不在」との矛盾について考える。The 1945 Joint Exhibition of Modern Paintings, which was held at the Sino-Soviet Cultural Association in the wartime capital Chongqing, displayed more than 80 works from artists advocating modern art in China during the Republican period. With participation of important artists such as Lin Fengmian, Ni Yide, Pang Xunqin, and Guan Liang, this event crystallized artistic practices of these modernists and showed the significant changes in their artworks during the wartime. Despite its significance, little scholarly attention has been paid to this exhibition and artists'activities in the Guomingdang-controlled region from 1937 to 1945. To fill this gap in scholarship, this study examines the changes of styles of participating artists in the wartime by reconstructing the 1945 exhibition in Chongqing, for which direct pictorial resources are no longer extant. Through related artworks and narratives of their contemporaries, it discusses the relationship between art and sociopolitical circumstances, highlighting aspects of networks of associations and individuals. It also analyses the press narratives, which reflected ideologies and the arts ecosystems viewed through art scene in Chongqing and positions it vis-à-vis the writings on this exhibition by both the participants and art historians after 1949. The analysis underlines the discursive shift and the controversy about the criteria of modernist painting and "modernism" in China.

残留性有機汚染物質(POPs)の全地球的な環境挙動把握と発生源推定を行うためには従来の組成分析法では信頼性に乏しい。本研究では新規に開発した二次元ガスクロマトグラフ同位体比質量分析計を用い、ポリ塩素化ビフェニル(PCB)・ポリ塩素化ナフタレン(PCN)製剤、及びハロゲン系の揮発性有機化合物の炭素同位体比分析を行った。PCBについては、すでに報告されている日欧米製剤に加え東欧諸国(ポーランド・チェコ・ロシア)の製剤も分析し、PCNについては世界各国で使用された米国製のHalowax製剤シリーズを分析、各種製剤の傾向を解析した。さらに、これら半揮発性化合物であるPCB・PCNの比較として、異なる製造元から収集した揮発性の有機溶剤についても分析し、各種ハロゲン系有機汚染物質の物性及び炭素数や塩素・臭素置換等の構造の違いにより同位体組成に差があるか注目した。
