シリカゲルのゴキブリに対する効果は,粒子径の大きさに左右された.470 meshであれば,1m2あたり3gの処理で感受性系統ならびに抵抗性系統のチャバネゴキブリに対して,24時間で85%以上の個体が死亡した.30 mesh, 40 meshの粒子径のシリカゲルでは殺虫効力が見られなかった.トビイロゴキブリ老齢幼虫に対する殺虫効果 は劣った.470 meshのシリカゲルを室内に7日間放置した時の吸湿の程度は低く,殺虫効力には大きな影響をもたらさなかった.シリカゲルで死亡したゴキブリの肢や触角は硬直し,時間とともに脱落した.一連の試験から,処理面が乾いている場所でのシリカゲル微粉末処理は,チャバネゴキブリ駆除に対し有効で,現場での実用性が期待される.

This paper proposes the concept of a novel multi-wheel stair-climbing wheelchair. The necessity for mobility aid technology for elderly and handicapped people that has ``minimal invasiveness for use in an historical environment'' are described. With this goal in mind, a prototype of a novel wheelchair having a stair-climbing function resulting from transformable wheeled four-bar linkages is proposed, and the principle of operation, mechanism design, kinematics, statics and basic performance confirmed through a experiment are illustrated in this paper.

Bulk single crystals of the perovskite LixLa(1-x)/3NbO3, which is one of the materials used as the solid electrolyte in all-solid lithium-ion batteries, have been grown for the first time by the directional solidification method. The ionic conductivity measured in the growth direction of the single crystal wafer of LixLa(1-x)/3NbO3 and the anisotropy of ionic conduction in solid electrolyte were experimentally confirmed for the first time by using LixLa(1-x)/3NbO3 single crystals. Here, the results of four experiments on LixLa(1-x)/3NbO3 bulk single crystals are presented:  (1) growth of solid electrolyte LixLa(1-x)/3NbO3 bulk single crystals, (2) ionic conduction in LixLa(1-x)/3NbO3 single crystal, (3) anisotropy of ionic conduction in LixLa(1-x)/3NbO3 single crystal and (4) microstructure analysis of LixLa(1-x)/3NbO3 single crystal.

レトルト殺菌を受けた人毛DNAは,湯せんや電子レンジ加熱と比較して著しく断片化することから,この断片化をPCRで検出することでレトルト殺菌履歴の判別,すなわち人毛が工程内で混入したか否かを判断できると考えた.ヒトDNA特異的検出プライマーとして,レトルト殺菌判別には増幅産物長約500 bp,DNA抽出確認用に増幅産物長約200 bpとなるプライマーセットをそれぞれ設計し,微小な人毛でも評価できるようにした.増幅産物はアガロースゲル電気泳動後,蛍光染色で可視化した.混入モデル試験として,人毛をレトルト殺菌し,その抽出DNAを鋳型にレトルト殺菌判別用プライマーセットでPCRを行った結果,DNA増幅は認められず,非加熱,湯せん,電子レンジ加熱では増幅が認められた.また,DNA抽出確認用プライマーセットではいずれの加熱条件においてもDNA増幅が認められた.一方,人毛以外の混入も想定して,脊椎動物共通プライマーも同様に設計し,9種のペットや家畜由来DNAを検出できることを確認した.本手法はレトルト殺菌を受けた人毛DNAの熱分解を特異的に検出でき,レトルト食品中に発見された毛様異物の混入時期推定に有用な分析手法であると考えられた.

Recently, it is expected that the technologies and skills of the localized industry forms the basis of the new regional industry in the regional industrial development strategy. However, these regional industrial strategy that based the technologies and skills of the localized industry, such as regional cluster programs, has difficult problems. This Paper discusses the meanings of the technologies and skills of the localized industry by considering localized industry as one regional system which forms the product chain. We take up the Sabae eye-glasses production area in Fukui Prefecture as a case study and discuss it. We examine the difficulty of the regional industrial strategies and today's the crisis of collapse of localized industry in the views of the technologies and skills of the localized industry.In the localized industry, the companies which take the base technologies and skills are engaged in a specific works under the formation by the organizer. In this case these companies give only the "structure" to materials, but an organizer gives the "function" to it. Therefore, these companies need the organizer to shows their own ability in the localized industries. This is why the localized industry lacks in flexibility, because these companies tend to lack of the ability to understand the own technologies concerning the "function".

An epidemiologic study of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation was undertaken at our hospital.200 patients with this condition were operated in recent four years.To all cases, we sent the questionnaire.85 patients were successfully interviewed.It was found that this condition was most likely to be diagnosed among the male sex in the age group of 30's, and the female sex in the age group of 30's, 40's, and 50's.In the occupation, more than half of the male cases were hard-workers and more than half of the female cases were clerks and house-wives.

The Earth, Clouds, Aerosols and Radiation Explorer (EarthCARE) mission is a European-Japanese joint satellite mission that aims to provide the global observations necessary to advance our understanding of clouds and aerosols and their radiative effect on the Earth’s climate system. Toward this goal, the EarthCARE satellite loads two active instruments, Cloud Profiling Radar (CPR) and Atmospheric Lidar (ATLID), offering vertical profiles of clouds and aerosols, together with light drizzles, whose properties are extended horizontally using complementary measurement by Multispectral Imager (MSI). The properties thus obtained are then used to estimate outgoing shortwave and longwave radiation at the top of the atmosphere, which is evaluated against measurements taken by the fourth sensor, Broadband Radiometer (BBR). Such a “closure assessment” is used to give feedback to the microphysical property profiles and optimize them, if necessary, to offer consistent three-dimensional datasets of cloud-aerosol-precipitation-radiation fields. EarthCARE’s integrative global observation of clouds, aerosols and radiation with the new measurement capabilities, particularly with Doppler velocity, is expected to not only extend the A-Train measurement toward a longer-term climate record, but also to advance our perspective on the fundamental role that global clouds have within the climate system in the context of their relationships to dynamical processes and their interactions with aerosols and radiation. This review paper provides an overview of the mission, the satellite and its payloads, with a particular focus on the algorithm and products developed in Japan, and areas of scientific study expected to progress.

本研究の目的は,要介護高齢者143名を対象に50m ラウンド歩行テストに影響を及ぼす要因を検討することである。方法は,上下肢筋力,30秒椅子立ち上がりテスト(CS‐30),Functional reach test(FRT),片足立ちテストと50m ラウンド歩行テストとの関連から分析した。50m ラウンド歩行テストと有意な相関を認めたのは,相関係数が高い順にCS‐30(r=-0.48),FRT(r=-0.40),大腿四頭筋筋力(r=-0.23),片足立ちテスト(r=-0.20),握力(r=-0.17)であった。Stepwise 法による重回帰分析の結果,50m ラウンド歩行テストに影響を及ぼす要因は,CS‐30(β=-0.39)とFRT(β=-0.28)が抽出された。これらのことから,50m ラウンド歩行テストは,上下肢筋力や静的バランスよりも筋持久力や動的バランスに影響を受けるテストであることが示唆された。

1)モデル多細胞生物発生の遺伝子システムの全体像解明と計算機モデル化・EST配列12万本からエキソン・イントロン構造を確定した12000遺伝子についてwhole mount in situハイブリダイゼーションによる発現パターン解析をおこないクラスタリング解析により共通制御候補遺伝子群を同定した。NEXTDB<http://nematode.lab.nig.ac.jp>で公開し、これをもとにした共同研究を世界中で進めた。・glp-1母性mRNAの翻訳制御メカニズムについて、gld-1,pos-1、spn-4などの複数遺伝子の組み合わせとポリA鎖の伸長によるfine tuningの機構を解析した。・初期発生の細胞配置パターンがC.elegansとは異なる近縁線虫Diploscapter sp.についてcDNAライブラリーを構築し、EST約7万本から約10,000種に分類でき、約5,800種についてC.elegans, C.briggsaeとのオルソログが見出された。初期発生に重要な遺伝子をそろえるために、薄い(1X)ホールゲノムショットガンシーケンシングをおこない、追加約1,000のホモログを得た。発現パターンについてC.elegansとの比較を進めている。・細胞の形状を力学モデルによって構成した胚発生シミュレータ(原腸陥入期の26細胞期まで)を構築し、中心体の動きなどをより正確に再現するような条件を求めた。2)生物発生のコンピュータシミュレーション・模様形成遺伝子のひとつレオパードをクローン化した。

<p> 2017年8月,FDA Data Standards Catalog v4.6にSEND Implementation Guide ver. 3.1(以下,IG 3.1)が収載され,2019年3月15日以降開始の試験はNDA/BLA申請時にIG 3.1準拠のSENDデータ提出が義務化された。IG 3.1の対象試験には心血管系及び呼吸系安全性薬理試験が含まれるため,それらのSEND対応はCJUG SENDチームの最重要課題の一つと考えられた。そこで,ITベンダー,ソリューションプロバイダ,非臨床試験CRO,製薬企業が所属するCJUG SENDチームの全27施設を対象に,安全性薬理試験のSEND対応状況及び想定される課題等に関するアンケートを実施し,匿名で回答を収集して分析した。</p><p> その結果,ほぼ全ての施設が安全性薬理試験のSEND対応への必要性を認識している一方,IG 3.1の詳細把握から具体的な業務手順の整備等の体制構築を進めている施設は少数のみであった。今後の対応方針を業種別にみると,製薬企業の多くは外注での対応を想定し,受託側のソリューションプロバイダ及びCROは自社対応やパートナリングで積極的にSENDデータ作成受託を進めようとしている傾向が示された。また,機器からの印刷物や手書きの記録を安全性薬理試験の生データとしている施設も依然多く,データの電子化自体が安全性薬理試験SEND対応の大きな課題であることが明らかとなった。さらに,SENDデータセット作成・検証の担当者に安全性薬理研究者の配置を想定している企業は少なく,統制用語の適切な利用など,安全性薬理試験SEND対応のプロセスに専門家がどう関与すべきかという潜在的な課題も見出された。本発表では調査内容を更に精査し,安全性薬理試験SEND対応の課題及び今後のデータセット作成に有用な情報を提供したい。</p>

近年、特異な形態の建築が都市を飾るようになった。しかし、そのような建築は、「環境摂理を内包した構造物こそが建築である」と、ロージェが指摘した建築の本質に応えているだろうか。技術革新は、建築物の多様な形態や素材利用を可能にし、BIMなど自動化手法は、設計•建設技術の高度な統合を実用化した。一方、新しい建築形態は環境摂理を内包する論理性に基づいているだろうか。例えば、ヒートアイランド現象への対応は過去20年間指摘されて続けているが、建築意匠学は体系的な答えを生み出していない。本論文は以下の2つの仮説を、デザイン•バイ•リサーチ手法を用いて検証する。1)環境への対応が形態を論理化するということ。2)そのような建築は、「概日リズム」(シルカディアンサイクル)に従った健康な睡眠と持続性のある都市環境を作り出し、健康な生活空間を生み出すこと。これらの仮説を検証することを通じ、本論は新しいファサードを具体的に提案し、次のステップへの明確な方向性を示す。 Recent architecture possesses diverse shapes that decorates the contemporary cities. Yet do those architecture embody what M.A. Laugier's fundaments: natural and intrinsic? Recent fabrication technology in building construction allows nearly individual couture of its façade, its geometry and materialization. Building Information Model technology coordinate complex projects seamlessly from design to construction. Yet, do architectural design lack reasoning to its unique form? The cause of heat island phenomenon is known for some time, but few design principles were theorized to reduce the heat island phenomenon. This paper applies the Design-by-Research method to this issue. Hypothesis: the first, the building physics is the reason to innovate architectural form; the second such architecture frames space for healthier life by visualizing Circadian rhythm thereby forming healthier sleep and sustainable city. This paper presents a palpable new façade system that features the shades. This paper describes its performance and provides the next steps.

特定の食物摂取後の運動によりアナフィラキシーが出現する場合, 食物依存性運動誘発アナフィラキシー (food-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis, FEIAn) と呼ばれる. その病因は明らかではなく, これまでの報告では10~20歳台の症例が多いとされるがまとまった疫学調査はほとんどなされていない. そこで, 横浜市立中学校全生徒を対象に養護教諭にアンケート調査を実施した. 145校中有効回答は130校 (89.7%) で, 対象生徒数は76,229名, FEIAnは13名 (0.017%) であり, EIAnは24名 (0.031%) であった. また, 養護教諭のFEIAnについての認知度は約30%と低く, 学校における症例の把握や指導が不十分で不慮の事故の危険性が示唆された. 今後, この疾患についての学校医や養護教諭などへの啓蒙が必要と考えられる.

<p>We achieved a super low power consuming LCD panel with an n-FFS mode driven by IGZO-TFTs at low frequency. In this paper, we report the development of a new photo-alignment process for n-FFS, which prevents light-leakage and mura caused by conventional rubbing processes. In addition, we also developed high reliable liquid crystal and photo-alignment materials, which reduce flicker in low refresh rate driving. These technologies have already been applied to the Generation Eight factory, and are being adopted to small/middle sized LCDs for smartphones, tablet PCs, notebook PCs and so on.</p>

エンジンしゅう動部品の表面改質方法の耐焼付性は十分に評価されていない.本研究では新しい表面改質法を用いた試験片の摩擦特性と耐焼付き性を評価した.その結果,新たな表面改質をした試験片は低摩擦性と耐焼付き性が向上した.スズをショットピーニングして母材に処理すると,MoS2と母材との接合強度が向上した.

Stevens-Johnson症候群(SJS)の本邦報告例を小児例と成人例に分けて集計し,検討した.1981年から2004年2月までに報告された症例のうち小児123例(11カ月~15歳,男女比1:0.6),成人208例(16歳~79歳,男女比1:1.5)を調査対象とした.SJSの原因と考えられたものは,小児では薬剤が48.8%,感染症が39.8%,成人では薬剤が76.9%,感染症が12.5%であり,小児で感染症の比率が高かった.小児,成人ともに原因薬剤は抗けいれん薬が,感染症はマイコプラズマ感染が最も多く,小児ではマイコプラズマ感染がSJS全体の原因の27.6%を占め,成人の5.7%より多かった.臓器障害は小児,成人とも肝障害,呼吸器障害が多くその頻度に差はみられなかった.遷延化した病変は小児,成人ともに眼病変(小児13.8%,成人12.0%),呼吸器障害(小児5.7%,成人5.3%)の順に多く,小児に特徴的なものとしては歯牙の形成障害がみられた.死亡率は小児0.8%,成人8.2%であり,マイコプラズマ感染によるSJSで中毒性表皮壊死症(TEN)に移行した症例はみられなかった.治療はステロイド剤の全身投与が83.9%に行われ,有効であった.以上より,小児のSJSは成人SJSよりマイコプラズマ感染症が原因となることが多く,臓器障害や遷延化病変の発症率は成人と比較して低くはないが,死亡率は低いことが明らかとなった.

A 52-year-old male was found to have fever and complained of myalgia and joint pain.<BR>On physical examination by admission, his blood pressure was 128/68 mmHg, pulse 66 per minute, regular, temperature 38.5&deg;C. The patient was pale and appeared chronically ill. Bilateral temporal arteries were extended and moderately tender by percussion. Cardiac dulness was normal and heart sound was clear. Liver and spleen were not palpable. Muscles of extremities were slightly atrophic. Raynaud's phenomen negative. Purpuras on backs of feet were noticed. ECG showed normal sinus rhythm, no axis deviation, ST, T waves normal. X-ray of chest normal.<BR>At 2 weeks after admission, he had been noticed his blood pressure was elevated (BP 210/100 mmHg) and abdominal bruit audible. Following comfirming of polyarteritis nodosa by muscle biopsy of right quadriceps, steroid therapy bigan. On the 26th hospital day, suddenly he experienced severe pain in left hypochondrium which radiated into the back. He was explored surgically because the pain was persistent and anemia revealed progressively.<BR>Retroperitoneal hematoma was found along abdominal aorta and left kidney with subcapular bleeding enlarged as child's head sized but could not be removed because his general condition got worse. Peripheral plasma renin activity (PRA) on restricted salt intake (5g/day) while the patient kept in supine position was 11.9 ng/ml/h, renal vein renin analysis was as follows; r-renal vein 12.1 ng/ml/h, 1-renal vein 14.2 ng/ml/h, upper IVC 12.1 ng/ml/h, lower IVC 8.3 ng/ml/h. Angiotensin II analogue test was carried out using in-fusion of 1-Sarcosine 8-Isoleucine Angiotensin II. Blood pressure before test was 180/130 mmHg and reduced to 130/100 mmHg at 20 minutes after the biginning of infusion at the rate 300 ng/kg/min.. The blood pressure rose gradually to control level over subsequent one hour after the cessation of angiotensin II analogue. PRA level was 8.4 ng/ml/h before administration of angiotensin II analogue and similar value during infusion, then 8.7 ng/ml/h at 110 minutes after cessation of the infusion.
