山形県庄内地方は,最上川河口に酒田の港があり,内陸部との交易や北前船の寄港地として繁栄した。北前船は,北海道と関西を結ぶ航路であり,酒田を中心とした庄内地方は関西の文化の影響をうけた地域である。山形県庄内地方に在住の調理担当者136名を対象としたアンケート調査をおこない,現在の郷土料理の実態を年齢層別に比較し,あわせて料理にみられる関西との共通点を確認した。1.日常作られている料理のなかで,手のかかる料理や季節感を感じる料理が減少する傾向にあった。2.年齢を39歳以下,40〜49歳,50歳以上の3つのグループにわけ,料理の知名程度,作成状況を調査した。知名度は年齢により差がみられる料理はあったが,知らない料理はなかった。料理の作成度では,若い世代では限られた料理しか作られておらず,幅広く料理を作成しているのは50歳以上であった。3.他の行事と比較すると,正月料理が最もよく作られていた。どの行事の料理も40歳以下でも料理は作っているが,50歳以上に比較すると,減少しつつある。4.交易によってもたらされた食材には棒だら,身欠きにしんなどがあり,京都では芋棒,茄子とにしんの煮もの,にしんそば,庄内地方ではいも子汁,うどとにしんの煮物などに使われていた。最後に,本調査にご協力いただいた八幡町立(現酒田市)八幡中学校の関係者の皆様に感謝いたします。

A long flexible shaft such as a lance tube in a soot blower or a drill string in a rotary drilling system exhibits friction-induced vibration resulting in a whirling motion. This paper investigates the whirling motion of a long flexible shaft induced by frictional force and examines the effect of an intermediate support position on the whirling motion. The experimental apparatus investigated has a vertical shaft which rotates at a constant speed by means of an electric motor mounted at the top of the shaft. At the bottom end of the shaft is located a rubber ring so that frictional force acts on the tip of the shaft when the shaft is deflected. Comparing experimental and calculated results we clarify the vibration characteristics, such as whirling frequencies and amplitudes, at various rotational speeds and show the effective position of an intermediate support to suppress shaft vibration.

本稿では,大相撲興行におけるいわゆる「八百長」の経済学的誘因構造を明らかにすることを目的に,簡単な理論モデルを提示し,Duggan and Levitt(2002)に倣った幾つかの実証分析を行った.「星の買取り」,及び「星交換」の成立要件を考察した理論分析からは,「八百長」行為には力士が置かれた環境下での誘因構造が大きく影響しており,上位看板力士が「八百長」を行うとすれば星の買取りを,平幕/十両の力士は星交換を,それぞれ選択する可能性が大きいと考えられる一方,幕下以下の力士養成員には「八百長」の誘因があまりないことが示された.一方,Duggan and Levitt(2002)のデータ期間を約2倍に延長し,また力士養成員も含めて行った実証分析の結果,①勝越しの可能性が懸かった力士の勝率が不自然に高いという意味での「八百長」は,2000年代に入り減少していたものの,近年迄一貫して続いていたこと,②力士養成員レベルでは,統計的に検出できる程の「八百長」は行われていないこと,③2011年2月の携帯メール八百長スキャンダル以降では,関取レベルでも,統計的に検出可能な形での「八百長」は無くなっていること,④「八百長」問題で処分対象となった力士とその他の力士を比較すると,すくなくとも平均的レベルにおいて,処分対象力士の方が「八百長」に強く関与していた可能性が高いこと,等が明らかになった.本稿の分析結果は,大相撲興行の取組結果から読み取れる力士の選択(「八百長」)が経済学的な誘因構造と極めて整合的であること,また,その誘因構造の設計次第で,力士の選択は全く異なったものになり得る可能性を示唆している.This paper first develops a simple model to show that incentives for match-rigging in professional sumo differ depending on the rank to which a wrestler belongs. While incentives for match-rigging can arise for wrestlers in the top divisions (sekitori), few incentives arise for wrestlers-in-training (makushita and below). We then report the results of our empirical analysis, which show that match-rigging in the top divisions has declined in the post-Duggan and Levitt (2002) period, and that at the wrestler-in-training level there was no statistically detectable match-rigging during any period. We find further that match-rigging in professional sumo has stabilized at statistically undetectable levels following the mobile phone text message match-rigging scandal, and that on average the wrestlers selected for sanctions following the scandal were in fact those most involved in match-rigging.

Four different solid phases of tetracycline (trihydrate, anhydrate, dehydrate, and amorphous) were isolated. These phases were characterized by using IR spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, and thermogravimetric and differential thermal analyses. Dissolution behavior of these phases in distilled water was investigated and an appreciable difference in the dissolution behavior was detected between the amorphous and the other solid phases. The effect of the solid phases on bioavailability of tetracycline was also studied. Blood plasma levels obtained in rabbits and blood levels in rats after intraduodenal administration of the trihydrate and amorphous were compared, and its results indicated that the solubility difference between the two phases has an effect on the bioavailability of tetracycline. The cumulative excretion of tetracyc1ine in urine after oral administration of the two phases to human subjects was also examined and its results indicated that the cumulative amount after administration of the amorphous was slightly higher than that of the trihydrate.

The existence of the two crystalline forms of chlortetracycline hydrochloride (CTC-HCI) was confirmed by infrared spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction. From the dissolution studies with crystalline powder and compressed disk, an appreciable difference in the dissolution behavior in water was detected between the two forms. In order to determine the effect of polymorphism on the gastrointestinal absorption of CTC-HCl, blood plasma levels obtained in rabbits after intraduodenal administration and cumulative amounts excreted in human subjects after oral administration of the two forms were compared. The results indicated that polymorphic state of CTC-HCl significantly influences bioavailability of the CTC-HCl.

The purpose of the present study was to construct a reliable and valid psychological scale of interpersonal trust, and examine the relationship between interpersonal trust and the earliest recollection (ER). In Study 1, high school and college students, 538 in all, filled a questionnaire, and a l7-item Interpersonal Trust Scale (ITS) was constructed. The scale had high internal consistency and test-retest reliability. In Study 2, data from 523 high school and college students showed meaningful correlations between ITS and several conceptually-related personality scales, suggesting its validity. In Study 3, the relationship between the ITS score and ER was examined with the data of 488 college undergraduates, who gave answers to an open-ended questionnaire. The result showed that students with high ITS scores remembered significantly more positive feelings and less negative feelings for their ER than those with low ITS scores. It was also found that interpersonal trust was related to feelings attached to human figures in ER.

【目的】リハビリテーション(リハ)目的で入院した右被殻出血患者を対象に,半側空間無視の有無やその検出法に関与する要因について検討した.【対象と方法】対象は回復期リハ病棟に入院した右被殻出血103 名で,発症から評価までの期間は40.5±27.4 日.発症時のCT より血腫型を評価し,血腫量を算出して,半側空間無視がみられたかどうかや,その検出法を診療録より後方視的に調査した.【結果】半側空間無視は103 名中58 名(56.1%)でみられた.血腫量が多く,血腫が内包前後脚または視床に及ぶ広範な場合に半側空間無視は高率にみられた.半側空間無視の検出率は消去現象と注意で最も高く,次いで模写試験,視空間認知の順であった.【結論】回復期リハの時期でも被殻出血の半数以上に半側空間無視を認め,その発現には血腫量や血腫型が関与した.半側空間無視の検出に複数の課題を用いることで,見落としを大きく減らすことができた.

複雑なシステムの中におかれたヒトや生体は,自らを取り巻くところの環境や社会を能動的に意味づけ,価値づけ,自らの棲む世界として秩序化していくことができる.本研究課題では,このような自律的主体の「多様性の生成と選択」の機構を「記号過程」に求め,記号の生成・利用のダイナミズムの観点から,生体細胞から環境適応機械(ロボット),社会組織に亘る様々なレベルにおける適応システムの同型性を見いだし,個々のシステム要素が外部・内部の物理的環境との相互作用を介して機能が形成される一般的過程について追究した. 5カ年の成果により,目的をもって生きる存在としての自律的な主体(人,ロボット,細胞)が, 他者主体を含む環境との相互作用を通して,意味の世界を創出して伝達する仕組み(記号過程)を解明し,システムが人を育て,人がシステムを育てる相互主導性を担保できるシステムの設計論を確立することができた。

現在、家電量販業界では、熾烈な戦いが繰り広げられている。本稿ではその中でマーケットリーダーのヤマダ電機と人材教育に定評があるヨドバシカメラを採りあげる。ヤマダ電機とヨドバシカメラの戦略はマイケル・E・ポーターの3 つの基本戦略に照らし合せると、現在のところ、それぞれコストリーダーシップ戦略、差別化戦略を採って成功している。本論文では、両社のそれぞれの戦略について詳述し、さらに今後の激変する環境の中で両社が採っている戦略をどのような変化させていくのかを検討する。
