社会的マイノリティをめぐる議論は,差別の考察と結びつくかたちで常にカテゴリー語を1つの重要な論点としてきた.しかし,当該カテゴリー成員にとっての呼称が果たす意味や意義については,考察されていない.そこで本稿では,ゲイ男性およびバイセクシュアル男性の自称としての「こっち」という表現を取り上げ,この論点について考察する.具体的にはゲイ男性またはバイセクシュアル男性13人に行ったインタビューの結果を分析する.<br>ゲイ男性とバイセクシュアル男性の集団を指す「こっち」という「婉曲的」な呼び名が〈わたしたち〉を指すために用いられる理由はいくつかあるが,そこに「仲間意識」のニュアンスが込められている点が重要である.この点には「こっち」という言葉のもつトートロジカルな性質が関連しており,「仲間」であることは性的指向の共通性には回収されない.また,「仲間意識」を強く志向するこの語彙を用いることによって「仲間意識」を発生させることも可能である.ただし,それが投企の実践である以上,他の言葉よりは見込みがあるにせよ,「仲間」としての〈わたしたち〉が必ず立ち上がるとは限らない.<br>反例もあるにせよ,曖昧さをもったトートロジカルな「こっち」という言葉は柔軟で繊細なかたちで〈わたしたち〉を立ち上げるための言葉として存在しており,このことは意味的な負荷の軽減がマイノリティ集団の言語実践にとって重要ではないか,との洞察を導く.

What direction should amateurism in sports take? The past amateurism has been undergoing a great transfiguration and is not applicable to the present situation in which sports are increasingly nationalized and popularized. And yet an attempt should be made on a nationwide scale to improve our physique as well as moral character, on which amateur sportsmanship is founded. In the course of this endeavour, a certain type of amateur sports quite unique to our country, supported by a vast public, will spread among our people, and in turn, contribute to intensifying the physical competence of athletes. We must promote hereafter the so-called "community sports," which are purrsued by the whole nation, for true amateurism will spring from nothing but this type of sports.

【目的】本研究の目的は,回復期リハビリテーション病棟における脳卒中患者の歩行自立再獲得日数への障害の重症度と低栄養の影響を検証することであった。【方法】対象は病棟内歩行が自立した65 歳以上の脳卒中患者116 名とした。分析は歩行自立再獲得日数に関連する潜在変数を障害の重症度と低栄養に分類してそれらに関連する観測変数から仮説モデルを作成し,共分散構造分析で検証した。【結果】年齢を層別化すると,前期高齢者群ではおもに障害の重症度が歩行自立再獲得日数に関連しており,低栄養の関連性は認められなかった。後期高齢者群では障害の重症度と低栄養が歩行自立再獲得日数に関連し,低栄養には嚥下障害が関連していた。【結論】回復期リハビリテーション病棟の脳卒中患者では,障害の重症度と低栄養のそれぞれが歩行自立再獲得日数に影響することが明らかになった。さらに,嚥下障害を伴う後期高齢者群では栄養管理の重要性が示唆された。

今回,舌粘膜疹を主訴に来院した第2期梅毒の1例を経験した。症例は20歳代の女性で,舌尖および舌縁部の白色病変と両手掌の丘疹性紅斑を認めた。梅毒血清検査にて陽性であったため第2期梅毒と診断し,抗菌薬内服を開始した。その後,口腔粘膜疹および皮疹は消退し,梅毒血清検査は陰性化した。近年,本症例のように口腔粘膜疹が梅毒の初発症状となる症例が増えており,今後注意を要すると考えられた。

To clarify the overturning possibility of trains exposed to strong cross wind, several experiments were done to study the affect of the wind velocity and wind direction on the axle load changing. In this paper, the results of the experiment in the Japan Sea Coast Main Line, where the seasonal wind swept bitterly in winter, are described. Various kinds of trains, such as limited express, fright, commuter and local, were operated on the sites. To eliminate the turbulence of the wind on the sites, the 3 wind sensors were installed parallel with the track at regular intervals. As the results of the experiments, the author found that the ratio of wheel unloading caused by the wind could be more accurately expressed by the “Detailed equation” than the Kunieda's equation which was conventionally used to decide the regulation standard to prevent the train overturning by the strong cross wind in Japanese railways. Mesurement data also show that consideration of relative wind velocity and relative wind direction is important for running vehicle.

Gay identity and gay community are both central topics in gay studies and queer studies. However, the relationship between them remains unquestioned. This paper reveals how the relationship between gay identity and gay community has been shifted from the 90's to the present based on an analysis of discourses on coming-out.<br>Coming-out in the 90's included three important elements: aspiration for making a good relationship, high self-reflexivity and entry into the gay community. However, the latter two elements have disappeared and the meaning of coming-out has shifted. This shift demonstrates that the relationship between gay identity and gay community has become more and more irrelevant and independent.

【目的】本研究の目的は,理学療法分野での運動器疾患ならびに症状を対象としたストレッチング単独の有用性や効果を検証することである。【方法】関連する論文を文献データベースにて検索した。収集した論文の質的評価を行い,メタアナリシスあるいは効果量か95%信頼区間により検討した。【結果】研究選択の適格基準に合致した臨床試験25編が抽出された。足関節背屈制限,肩関節周囲炎,腰痛,変形性膝関節症,ハムストリングス損傷,足底筋膜炎,頸部痛,線維筋痛症に対するストレッチングの有効性が示され,膝関節屈曲拘縮と脳卒中後の上肢障害の改善効果は見出せなかった。【結論】現時点での運動器障害に対するストレッチングの適応のエビデンスを提供した。一方,本結果では理学療法分野でストレッチングの対象となる機能障害が十分に網羅されていない。ストレッチングは普遍的治療であるからこそ,その有用性や効果を今後実証する必要がある。

患者は62歳,女性.主訴は心窩部不快感.平成某年10月頃より心窩部不快感が出現,翌年1月当院内科受診し,貧血,便潜血反応陽性を認めた.上部,下部消化管内視鏡を行うも異常は認めず,小腸造影検査を行ったところ,回腸に約6cmの憩室と,その内部に約3cm大の隆起性病変を認めた.腹腔鏡補助下に手術を行った.手術所見では回腸に憩室を認め,小切開を置き,憩室のみ切除した.術中迅速診断にて高分化型腺癌と診断され,リンパ節郭清を伴う回腸部分切除を行った.病理検査では,リンパ節転移を認めず,Meckel憩室の異所性胃粘膜から発生した癌であった.

This article analyzes how the Tojo Cabinet arrived at an agreement to go to war with America, Britain and the Dutch East Indies. The Tojo Cabinet would not to be bound by the ‘Guidelines for Implementing National Policy’ that were adopted by the Third Konoe Cabinet and would ‘return to white paper’. But the Guidelines which were adopted after two weeks reconsideration, specified a deadline for concluding talks with Washington, after which war was to be decided upon. Does this decision meant that The Tojo Cabinet overcome the structural defect of the Meiji Constitution? The decision-making system of the Third Konoe Cabinet was characterized by Ryoron-heiki that incorporate the interests of all the opposing government institutions and Evasion of Decision-Making that evaded decisions in order to avoid conflict. The prime minister could not override the interests of the various government organs. It was owing to the structural flaw in the Meiji Constitution which saw legislative power shared between the Cabinet and the General Staff.Togo agreed to be Foreign Minister on condition that The Tojo Cabinet was committed to work hard to bring negotiations with the United States to a success. Togo and Finance Minister Kaya stated that if Japan could not win a long war, there was no reason for going into it. Then, how did the Tojo Cabinet come to such a conclusion? This paper examines the following points.1) Analyzing the logic of ‘Reconsideration of National Policy’. The main purpose of the reconsideration was to deny the possibility of the policy of ‘perseverance and patience’. There were not enough reasons to conclude that the war was the better selection. The reconsideration did not examine the situation of a long drawn-out war. Nevertheless, to get such a conclusion, it was essential for it to be reinforced by uncertain factors such as a favorable change of the international situation, the establishment of ‘selfsufficiency and economic invincibility’.2) Examination of the ‘concessions’ of Japanese Foreign Policy to America. Foreign Minister Togo adopted, many ‘concessions’. Fixing a term to withdrawal from China, preparation to remove the Japanese troops stationed in the southern part of French Indo-China to the nothern part, were the most important proposals. The Third Konoe Cabinet had collapsed when war Minister Tojo resigned in rejecting plans for the Japanese Army to withdraw from China. The explanation of why and how Togo could succeed to reach an agreement with the Cabinet and the General staff. Can be drawn from the complex decision-making system of the Meiji Constitution.

The behavioral inhibition network is a conceptual model that combines a mechanism for inhibiting extraneous behavior so that animals can maintain behavior appropriate to their environment, and the other one for suddenly releasing that inhibition and producing unexpected behavior. This model was developed from efforts to reconsider the animal mind not only as a source of mental function, but also as a source of otherness. Originally conceived as a mechanism by which the mind produces otherness, the model has points of contact with Whitehead's philosophy of the organism. The first is that extraneous behaviors hide inside the animal by inhibiting each other, so that behaviors appropriate to the environment are maintained. This function of inhibition is related to the 'negative prehension' in the philosophy of the organism. The second is that unexpected behavior is produced. Unexpected behavior is positioned as extraneous behavior in contrast to environmentally appropriate behavior. On the other hand, in an unknown environment, where it is impossible to choose a suitable behavior from an existing behavioral repertoire, unexpected behavior is positioned as an emergent behavior to help the animal cope for the time being. The emergence of such unexpected behavior is associated with 'novelty' in the philosophy of organisms. This paper considers the significance of the behavioral inhibition network model for the philosophy of organisms. Section 1 explains how this network works, using the example of an experiment leading to unexpected behavior in a familiar animal, the pill bug. Section 2 considers the the relationship between this model and Whitehead’s philosophy of organism.

近年,妊娠期の歯周病予防は周産期の重要な課題とされているが,日本における歯周病と低体重児出産や早産との関連性を示す報告は少ない.本研究の目的は観察研究により妊娠期の歯周状態と低体重児出産との関連性について調査することである.徳島大学病院の妊婦歯科健康診査受診者190名のうち,年齢バイアスの考慮から対象年齢を25~34歳とし,出産時の状況が確認できない者,多胎妊娠および喫煙中の者を除外した85名について,歯周状態と妊娠期の生活習慣や口腔保健に関する知識および低体重児出産との関連性について分析を行った.その結果,口腔内に気になる症状があると答えた者は61名(71.8%),CPI=3(4 mm以上の歯周ポケットを有する)の者は29名(34.1%),CPI=4の者は0名であった.また,対象者をCPI=3の群と,CPI=0, 1, 2の群とに分けてχ2 検定を行った結果,低体重児出産の項目,およびアンケート調査では,「歯周病に関する知識」,「食べ物の好みの変化」の項目について有意な関連性が認められた.さらに,ロジスティック回帰分析の結果,低体重児出産との有意な関連項目としてCPI=3(OR=6.62,95%CI=1.32–33.36,p=0.02)および口腔内の気になる症状(OR=5.67,95%CI=1.17–27.49,p=0.03)が認められた.以上の結果より,わが国においても,妊婦の歯周状態が低体重児出産のリスクとして関連することが確認できた.本研究結果は,歯科医療従事者による妊婦への歯科保健指導の際の要点として重要であると考えられる.
