60歳,男性が頭痛,嘔吐,意識障害で入院となった.血液検査でTSH 99.099μIU/mlの上昇と,FT3 1.60pg/ml,FT4 0.58ng/dlの低下を認めた.また抗サイログロブリン抗体,抗TPO抗体の上昇を認めた.粘液水腫性昏睡と考え,甲状腺ホルモンの補充療法を実施したが症状の改善はみられなかった.その後血清中抗N末端αエノラーゼ抗体の上昇が認められたことより橋本脳症の合併を考え,ステロイドパルス療法を行ったところ,症状の速やかな改善を認めた.

当研究室では昨年度迄、作問学習を用いた単語学習システム(AGU-TechTerm)を作成し、学部2年の授業「計算機概論」にて2年間運用した。当該システムは学習に対し効果があったが、学生に対し指定されたキーワードで自由に作問させていたことにより、指定キーワード内において作問の偏りが見られた。また、学生が作問をする上で勘違いやケアレスミスにより誤作問が発生してしまう可能性があり、検証するために厖大な労力が必要となり。対策として学生への問題の割り当て方式、誤作問の自動検出システムを提案する。またオープンソース化に対しての取り組みについても紹介する。My laboratory has been operating AGU-TechTerm system 3 years for the lecture "Introduction for Computer Technologies". The lecture has more than 150 undergraduate students in a large class room where LAN is available during the lecture. A professor asks students to access the system with their notebook PCs while hi is lecturing. AGU-TechTerm is a newly developed lecturing assist tool that let students to make questions relates to the meaning of computer terminologies. Students are expected to be familiar with computer terminologies through making questions and also operating notebook PCs in a classroom. This paper discusses the issues and measures based on our last three years AGU-TechTerm operation.

アミノ酸から誘導し配位子末端にカルボキシル基をもつ亜鉛(II)ジチオカーバマート錯体が架橋配位子として機能し,溶液中での亜鉛(II)イオンおよびニッケル(II)イオンとの反応によって柔軟な構造をもつ多孔性配位高分子を与えることを見いだした。さらに,これらの錯体とプロトン受容性官能基をもつポリビニルピリジンおよびポリビニルピロリドンとは,水素結合を介して分子間相互作用し,その結果,多孔質無機/有機複合体を形成した。また,高分子表面上での錯体の結晶成長の可能性を見出した。

Mustang® is composed of microporous modified hydrophilic polyethersulfone (PES) membranes, having uniform coating with quaternary amine (Q) group and sulfonic acid (S) group. Mustang® membrane chromatography shows high binding capacity even under the high flow rate, by its larger pore size, and convective surface structure. Therefore, Mustang® purification technology has merit as a simple, speedy, and scalable one, especially for removing of harmful factors and impurities in bioprocess purification, and also the purification of macromolecules like DNA, virus, plasmid, and proteins etc. Here it is introduced the examples of the viral/DNA removal, and adenovirus vector purification using Mustang® membrane chromatography. Safety and quality assurance can be added into manufacturing process of biological drugs by applying and strengthen this separation and purification technology.

日本では外科を選択する医師は減少していますが,日本外科学会に新規入会する女性医師は年々増加しており,2008年新入会の22%が女性でした.ところが,日本の女性の年齢別就労人口をみると,M字カーブを描き,30,40代での離職が目立ち,医師も例外ではありません.この現状を打破するために必要な支援を探るため,日本外科学会女性外科医支援委員会と日本女性外科医会が中心となり,2011年6月下旬~8月末に日本医学会分科会に対し,専門医,認定医制度,評議員,役員,委員会委員,男女共同参画,女性医師支援に関しアンケートを行いました.その結果,多くの学会で女性医師支援の活動は行われつつあることがわかりました.しかし,役員,評議員,委員会委員といった意志決定機構における女性の割合は低いままにとどまっています.あらゆる意思決定機関に女性を参入させることが,女性外科医の活動を,ひいては我が国の外科医療そのものを加速させるのではないかと思われました.

問 葛西さんが執筆した『未完の「国鉄改革」』を拝読しました。国鉄破綻の経緯と今の日本経済の改革プロセスが酷似していることに驚きました。 答 国鉄は自らを公共企業体と言っていました。企業体でありながら、コンセンサスが重要な要素として絡むわけです。だが、マーケットとコンセンサスは本来、異質なものです。

This study aims to clarify the relationship between the change in spatial structure resulting from the development of Sapporo Underground Pedestrian Space and human behaviors, as well as their spatial cognition. The characteristics of spatial and distance cognitions and their change were analyzed by sketch-map experiment and walking experiment. As a result of the analysis, the following points of the characteristics of spatial and distance cognitions and their change have become clear. 1) The pedestrians' spatial cognition has been improved in accuracy. 2) The pedestrians' spatial cognition is getting more restrictive.

Loxonin® is one of the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics of the phenylpropionic acid group. It is known that its side effects on digestive organs are less than those of other analgesics because of “prodrug” A clinical evaluation of Loxonin® on pain controlafter minor oral surgery is here reported in regard to time course of effectiveness, side effects, its availability and related points reflect, c1 in pain control.The number of test cases was 233 comprising 178 cases with single dose (120mg) only at pain onset and 55 cases with 3-divided doses (total 180mg). Of them, 23 cases were omitted because of no Loxonin® without postcperative pains.The benefit of the pain control method in the former cases reached 94.4% and the latter showed 96. 0%. The final availability was certainly more than 90% regardless of surgical treatments and inflammation degree before operation.From the results, it turned out Loxonin® was safe in the clinical use and highly effective in the pain control following minor oral surgery.
