近代以降の日本社会は「女同士の親密な関係」「女を愛する女」に対してどのような意味を与えてきたのだろうか。「女性同性愛」言説の変容をたどる研究成果を「性欲」の視点から整理することが本論文の目的である。ここで「性欲」の視点とは、大正期に定着してから現在まで様々な仕方で構築されてきた「性欲」という領域が、女性同性愛に関する言説をどのように枠づけてきたのか、反対に、女性同性愛に関する言説が「性欲」をどのように枠づけてきたのか、という視点のことをいう。したがって、本論文が注目するのは、「性欲」が女同士の親密性をめぐる経験や理解の仕方に関わっていることを示し得ているような研究成果である。この「性欲」の視点を軸にして、「女性同性愛」言説をめぐる歴史研究の現在における到達点と今後の課題を明らかにしたい。

都市ごみ焼却炉において, ダイオキシン類およびNOxなど有害物質発生を抑制するためには, 焼却炉での燃焼ガスの混合, 反応, 伝熱などによる完全燃焼を図ることが重要である。本研究では, 実際のごみ焼却プラントにおける各種条件が, ガス化燃焼に与える影響度合いを把握することを目的とした。実験では, 焼却炉内へ二次空気を吹き込むとともに, 炉内への水噴霧および排ガス循環を行い, COとNOx濃度の変化を調べた。その結果, CO濃度を低減すると同時に, NOxの発生量も低レベルでコントロールすることができた。

This paper introduces a new fine-grained voice source analysis method and its application to filled pause analysis in the CSJ (Corpus of Spontaneous Japanese). The new source analysis procedure is designed to provide annotation with reliable and precise descriptions of objective characteristics to items in large speech corpora. This design target made the new analysis method provide far more accurate descriptions than existing methods. The new method provides the fundamental frequency estimate and the band-wise aperiodicity information simultaneously. It also provides an information-rich representation of a probability map of the fundamental component. This paper presents several analysis examples and discussions.

約1世紀前に、生きた組織や細胞を動物の体外に取り出した研究が始まった。即ち、組織培養あるいは細胞培養法そのものの研究、あるいは、それらの技法を用いた研究である。この研究の流れの中で、1)組織・細胞培養の特性を生かして行われた研究でノーベル賞に輝いた研究、2)組織・細胞培養の基礎的経験からノーベル賞につながったと推定される研究、3)その他の特記できると私が考える細胞培養の研究、などについて取り上げてみたい。

目的:近年、様々な職業で女性の活躍が見られるが、現実の社会では「男性の職業」「女性の職業」といったジェンダーに基づく男女の職業イメージは今でも存在する。 学校は男女が平等に扱われるべき場であるが、学校で使用される教科書も同様であると考えられる。ではその毎日子どもたちが目にする教科書の中の職業人の挿絵は、男女等しく描かれているのであろうか。本研究では小学校教科書に描かれた職業の挿絵に着目し、1人の小学生が6年間で目にする教科書には男女がどのような割合で描かれているのかを明らかにすることを目的とした。 方法:愛知県の西三河地区に通う現在小学6年生である児童が、これまで6年間で使用してきた全教科の教科書51冊を分析対象とし、教科書に描かれた職業従事者を全体、職業分類別、職業別、教科別、学年別に比較、検討した。 結果:全教科書における職業従事者の挿絵は男性65%、女性27%で男性の方が2倍以上多く、職業の種類は男性102種類、女性67種類で男性がより多くの職業で描かれていた。職業分類別では女性の割合が50%を超える職業はなく、「建設・採掘業」では女性の働く挿絵がなかった。「保健」以外の9教科では男性の方が多く、すべての学年でも男性の方が多く描かれていた。これらのことから、教科書の挿絵であるにもかかわらず、職業に携わる人の挿絵は男女等しく描かれているとは言えず偏りがあることが明らかとなった。

Pain control is very important since, even today, 20 million people suffer from neuropathic pain. Although many basic science and clinical researchers have made efforts to control pain, the mechanism of neuropathic pain is unfortunately still not fully understood. Morphine, a prototypical opioid, is a useful medicine to relieve severe pain. However, repeated or continuous use of morphine and other opioids are associated with a potential risk of analgesic tolerance, which requires an increase in dosage to maintain the same efficacy. In addition, morphine is not always effective in neuropathic pain. In this review we focus on: (1) the role of muscarinic receptors in the spinal cord and anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) in neuropathic pain, (2) how chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 1 (CCL-1) is involved in neuropathic pain, and (3) the novel mechanism of morphine tolerance. The findings in this study may cast new light on novel mechanism of neuropathic pain and development of novel clinical medicines in the future.

[Purpose] The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of extracorporeal shock wave therapy on the pain and function of patients with degenerative knee arthritis. [Subjects and Methods] Twenty patients with degenerative knee arthritis were divided into a conservative physical therapy group (n=10) and an extracorporeal shock wave therapy group (n=10). Both groups received general conservative physical therapy, and the extracorporeal shock wave therapy was additionally treated with extracorporeal shock wave therapy after receiving conservative physical therapy. Both groups were treated three times a week over a four-week period. The visual analogue scale was used to evaluate pain in the knee joints of the subjects, and the Korean Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index was used to evaluate the function of the subjects. [Results] The comparison of the visual analogue scale and Korean Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index scores within each group before and after the treatment showed statistically significant declines in scores in both the conservative physical therapy group and extracorporeal shock wave therapy group. A group comparison after the treatment showed statistically significant differences in these scores in the extracorporeal shock wave therapy group and the conservative physical therapy group. [Conclusion] extracorporeal shock wave therapy may be a useful nonsurgical intervention for reducing the pain of patients with degenerative knee arthritis and improving these patients’ function.

戦後日本国内で、外国の理工学図書の海賊版が作られ、広く使われていた。1980年代には姿を消した。広く流布していたにもかかわらず、その非合法性から実態が記録されることはなかった。本研究では、新聞記事等の文献、実際にそれらに接した研究者からの聞き取り、実物を入手しての原本との比較の三つの面から、物理的特徴、原本入手から、発注、印刷、頒布までの作成・流通過程等の実態を明らかにした。

症例は56歳,女性.20歳頃月経時に発熱と腹痛が生じ,その後月経周期に一致して症状を繰り返すため近医で精査するも異常所見を認めなかった.症状は月経終了後無治療で自然軽快していた.父親にも同様の症状が出現していたことから,遺伝性自己炎症性疾患を疑い遺伝子検査を施行したところ,MEFV遺伝子変異を認めたため家族性地中海熱(Familial Mediterranean fever:FMF)と診断した.コルヒチン投与後症状は消失し,現在までアミロイドーシスの発症も認めていない.
