There are previous studies that analyzed the influence on communication skills in face-to-face situation by the use of the Internet tool. Then, we add a new construct (degree of good relationship and interpersonal stress, emotional stress tolerance) to the analysis model, and revised the survey items of communication skills in face-to-face and non-face-to-face situation, and made the causal relationship clearer, analyzed a detailed influence. And, we conducted a cross-survey information university students, and analyzed by the structural equation model. As a result, we obtained the same results as previous studies.

SAVVY/TRSは、米国エクスカリバーテクノロジー社により開発されたパターン認識技術に基づく高速な文字列検索ソフトウェアーである。SAVVY/TRSは、テキストデータを学習することによりパターン索引ファイルを自動的に作成することが可能であり、そのファイルにより文字列パターンを高速に検索することが実現できる。また、検索された各テキストはパターン認識の結果として類似度が与えられ、これにより完全に一致しない文字パターンの検索も可能となる。本報告では、SAVVY/TRSを用いたドキュメントデータベースシステムを紹介する。Savvy/TRS developped by Excalibur Technologies is high-speed text retrieval software based on pattern recognition technology. Savvy can automatically generate pattern Index Network file for later text retrieval using machine learning method. In addition, similarity measure will be given for each found record as a result of pattern recognition. Because of the measure, TRS can find a record which does not have perfect much string but has similar one. In this report, I will introduce document database system which has SAVVY/TRS as text retrieval engine.

戦後、フランス語に新たに加えられた言葉に、ゴーリズムGaullismeがある。これは、文字通りに訳せば、「ドゴール主義」ということになるであろうが、その意味内容は、これまでのところ、必ずしも明確にされている訳ではない。試みにGrand Larousseを繙いてみても、『ゴーリスム、男性名詞、ドゴール将軍の主張する思想」としか書かれていない。このように、ゴーリズムという語が単にドゴールの思想だけを指すのであれば、別にさしたる困難はないだろう。しかし、それが、ドゴールの思想のみならず、一九四〇年の「自由フランス」から一九六九年のドゴール退陣に至るまでに現われた、ドゴール派の運動、制度、政策、支持層等の多面にわたる政治現象の根底に横たわる、本質的なるもの、ないし原理的なるものを指すものとするならば、それを把握することは、なかなか容易なことではない。

2008年3月、福岡県大木町議会は「もったいない宣言」を全員一致で可決した。徳島県上勝町に続いて、国内で2番目となる脱焼却・埋め立てを目指すゼロ・ウェイスト宣言だ。 大木町は福岡県の南西部、筑後平野のほぼ中央に位置する農業の町だ。人口は約1万4500人。同町では生ゴミを焼却せずにメタン発酵処理し、分別を細分化することでリサイクル率の向上に取り組んでいる。

There are many problems about causality and identity in Humeanism. Especially, a problem that "Humean Supervenience" allowing many possibilities of various external laws encounters is concerned with the difficulty whether such laws can be coherent with the intrinsic properties of causation. This problem is related to another one whether "Humean Supervenience" is compatible with objectivism in accordance with Hume's original intention. Struggling with a disharmony between Hume's pragmatic epistemology and his realistic ontology, many philosophers have tried to dissolve such a complicated problem. But I think their efforts wouldn't be successful and the disharmony doesn't need to be settled, because the prospective collapses of their efforts wouldn't reduce the meaning of Humeanism. In this paper, I conclude that the seeming incoherence should be retained, because it suggests a moderate scientific attitude to be placed between dogmatism and skepticism. I demonstrate it by emphasizing the significance of some parts included in Hume's Treatise.

著者らは低級炭化水素から重油までの原料油を用いて, これらと水蒸気との高温における反応の研究を行なっているが,その一部として従来ほとんど研究の行なわれていない多成分系触媒による灯油と水蒸気の反応の研究を行なった。この反応は800℃ 以上の高温で水蒸気の共存の下に強い還元気流と酸化気流にさらされるので,使用できる触媒は著しく制限される。そこで適当と考えられる幾つかの触媒を取り出して比較したところ,ニッケル・バナジウム系触媒が最もよい結果を示した。また優秀な触媒幾種類かについて接触条件を定め,理論的に推定される極限値との比較も試みたが,その結果はかなり優秀なものであった。触媒のニッケル含量は5wt%で一応活性の大きなものが得られたが,それ以上にニッケル含量を増加しても,ほとんど効果がないことがわかった。次に反応前後における触媒層内の温度分布について調べたが,触媒層に達する前に灯油の分解がおこり,そのフラグメンツ(切片)が触媒層において水蒸気と反応するものであることが推定された。

東日本大震災で発生した大津波は,福島第一原子力発電所を襲い,原子力発電の安全神話を覆すレベル 7 の原子力事故を引き起こした。国内最悪の事故はいまだ収束に至らず,発電所周辺住民は,震災と原子力事故という二重の苦しみの生活を強いられている。事故対策を進める上で,各タービン建屋地下の溜まり水など放射性物質を多く含んだ 20 万トン規模の高レベル汚染水が大きな障害となっている。海水が混入した高汚染水の浄化,特に Cs の選択的分離・除去に対しては,高選択性を有する無機イオン交換体の使用が効果的である。一方,発電所より大気中へ放出された Cs や I は福島県を中心に広範囲に拡散し,汚染された雨水の処理や土壌の除染が緊急の課題となっている。事故後数か月を経過した現在,セシウム(¹³⁷Cs, ¹³⁴Cs)による放射能が主であり,放射性 Cs の選択的分離・除去用の吸着剤が重要な役割を担っている。最近,発電所サイトでは外国製技術を導入した除染プラントが稼動し始めたが,運転システムや廃棄物処理など課題がある。そこで,わが国独自の高汚染水処理システムの構築が急がれており,ここではイオン交換分離技術に大きな期待が寄せられている。特に汚染水処理現場では,わが国に豊富に産出する天然産ゼオライトの高い Cs 吸着能に期待が高まっている。ここでは,ゼオライトによる放射性核種の分離・除去,特に放射性 Cs の選択的分離・固化に関して解説する。<br>

I work as a Food and Beverage Industry analyst at one of major banks in Japan. Since I participated in Speight's Brewery and Cadbury Confectionery tours (as a tourist) in February 2004, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce them to you. If you are a beer or chocolate lover who happens to visit Dunedin in the future, then I suggest you book these tours for both sightseeing and tasting purposes. 1.Speight's Brewery [Facts] ・Established by Mr. Speights in 1876 ・Belongs to Lion Breweries as a result of amalgamation in 1920s ・Number of employees have dwindled to 38 due to modenization ・Brewery Tour has been operated since 1983 It includes introduction of beer history and manufacturing as well as tastings [Impression] It was interesting to take a look at a medium-sized brewery like this one, because in Japan there are only big suburban up-to-date breweries of major beer manufacturers and microbreweries in local areas. I was a bit surprised to find canning and bottling facility (in Christchurch) was separated from the brewery, as it is quite unusual in Japan. Presumably it is a good way of maintaining locally brewed brands while pursuing the merit of scale by canning and bottling many different brands at one facility. 2.Cadbury Confectionery [Facts] ・Arrived in Dunedin over 70 years ago when Cadbury acquired the business of R. Hudson & Co. Ltd. ・Produces about 85% of all chocolate manufactured in NZ ・One of the largest employers in Dunedin, with a staff of more than 650 people ・Public tour have started only within recent years It includes audiovisual displays and close-up looks of manufacturing processes [Impression] I did not find so much difference between this factory and Japanese confectionery factories (except perhaps a little more emphasis on hygienic control in the latter). But the fact the inventory here is lowest before Christmas Holidays reminded me that employees seem to be blessed with more rights and consumers are less overcautious about purchasing newer products, both compared with Japanese counterparts.

Intelligent Multi-Mode Transit System ("IMTS") based on fully automated Bus has been developed as the medium-scale transit system as the next generation transport system. Functional features of IMTS are summarized to the advanced lane guidance without the guide rail, the platooning formed by the electronic vehicle link and the collision avoidance emphasized by ITS technologies. The system configuration of IMTS, vehicle control technologies are described in this paper.
