緑産業道路は、東京・玉川と横浜を結ぶ第3京浜高速道路、港北インターチェンジからJR横浜線の鴨居駅方面に抜ける片側2車線の一般道だ。その名の通り、道沿いには松下電器産業やNECの工場が立ち並び、搬送のトラックが行き交う産業用道路だった。 この道を走る車の種類と量が今年3月を境に大きく変わった。 以前はトラックが多かったが、ワンボックスカーやセダンが増えた。

広島で毎年1月に行われる「全国都道府県対抗男子駅伝」は、今年で第6回目を向かえたが、移動車からの伝送に使用している800MHzのFPUがアナログからデジタルへとシステムも大きな変化を遂げた。この変化とともに変わってきた駅伝中継について報告する。

Epinephelus kupangensis Tucker, Kurniasih, and Craig, 2016, previously known from the Indo-West Pacific as far north as Taiwan, was recorded from Japan for the first time on the basis of two specimens (98.1–384.6 mm SL) collected from Tosa Bay, Kochi and Okinawa prefectures. The Kochi specimen had been previously reported as the first Japanese specimen of “Kokuten-aohata”, Epinephelus amblycephalus (Bleeker, 1857). Epinephelus kupangensis differs from the latter in having slightly lower numbers of lateral-line scales (46–49 vs. 48–51) and lateral scale series 91–99 (vs. 103–120), and lacking a U-shaped white marking dorsolaterally on the head and a white band below the orbit (vs. both present). The standard Japanese name “Kokuten-aohata” should be applied to E. kupangensis, the new standard Japanese name “Yahazu-aohata” being proposed for E. amblycephalus.

甲状腺には,交感神経と副交感神経(上喉頭神経:SLN)の節後線維が分布するが,甲状腺から分泌される種々の代謝調節ホルモンの分泌にどのように寄与するか,よくわかっていなかった.最近我々は,麻酔ラットの甲状腺静脈血を採取しながら頸部交感神経幹やSLNを電気刺激する実験により,甲状腺からのホルモン分泌が,交感神経と副交感神経の遠心性線維によって拮抗的で迅速な調節を受けること,またSLN中の有髄求心性線維の興奮が甲状腺からのホルモン分泌促進反射をもたらす可能性を示唆する結果を得た.そして,その反射を誘発する自然刺激の一つが咽頭への機械的刺激であることを新たに見出した.

本報告の第1の目的は,計上利益のうち,現金に裏打ちされた利益と現金に裏打ちされていない利益とを峻別することである。第2の目的は現金取引を擬制するのではなく,正真正銘の現金取引(キャッシュ・フロー)に基づき,これを損益取引からもたらされた現金預金と交換取引からもたらされた現金預金とに峻別し,後者の交換取引をさらに負債取引からもたらされた現金預金と資本取引からもたらされた現金預金とに分類することである。第3の目的は、発生主義利益とキャッシュの乖離を診断するための理論と技法を提示することである(以下、利益とキャッシュの乖離性診断という)。

A study was made on cardiac glycosides in the methanolic extract of the leaves of Nerium odorum cultivated in Japan. From the chloroform-soluble fraction, oleandrin, one of the components of Nerium Oleander, was isolated and identified.

The Chinese character luan (亂) bears two contradictory meanings: “chaos” and “order.” Scholar and commentator Guo Pu (郭璞, 276-324) was the first to note the phenomenon of a single character possessing two diametrically opposed meanings. Over the centuries, theories about the phenomenon have proliferated, a debate which has given rise to the scholarly term fanxun (反訓, enantiosemy).Those who resist the concept of fanxun claim that these contradictory meanings are more recently accreted additions that result from the process of jiajie (仮借, phonetic borrowing) rather than meanings that inhere in the character from the start. Supporters of the idea of fanxun -- especially contemporary supporters -- attempt to parse the contradictory meanings as a dialectical conflict.In contrast to these viewpoints, the present paper advances two claims. The first is that, when taking into account the conventions of character creation and the history of character development, the phenomenon of a single character bearing two diametrically opposed meanings is the result of the phenomena of zhuanzhu (転注, derivative cognates) and jiajie (仮借, phonetic borrowing). That is, this paper asserts, even if one accepts the claim that the second, contradictory meaning was a later accretion through the process of jiajie, the conventions of character creation make the appearance of fanxun inevitable. Meanwhile, zhuanzhu and jiajie are conventions of character creation that work to increase the number of characters and the meanings that they bear, and both are based in the same sources of sound and meaning.From this foundation, the paper offers an additional formulation: “opposite meanings, intimately entwined (相反相因, xiangfan xiangyin).” That is, the paper asserts that a character that bears diametrically opposed meanings is not to be understood as a dialectic, but as “opposite meanings, intimately entwined” (i.e., contradictions which exist in intimate relation to each other) -- an understanding of the phenomenon that is characteristically Chinese.

術後感染(SSI)は,患者の術後成績に大きく影響するだけでなく,術者にとってもその負担は大きく,最も避けたい合併症のひとつである.今回我々は,中規模救急病院における単年度のSSI発生について検討し,施設単位の総括的なSSI予防と対策について検討した.対象は2010年度一年間に手術を施行した360例.抗生剤は点滴によるセフェム系抗生剤を手術当日および術後1日間を原則とし,ガーゼ交換は術後一週目に行い,その間創部は開放せず,ドレーン抜去は創閉鎖のまま施行した.SSI発症率は360例中3例,0.8%で,うち2例は基礎疾患の無い若年者であった.起炎菌は1例がMRSAで,他の2例は同定不能であった.全例感染確認後早期に追加手術を行い,全例でSSIは治癒できた.若年者であっても感染の危険性は常に存在しており,一旦SSI発症が認められた場合は,躊躇せず追加手術を検討する必要があると考えられた.
