The aroma substances in Umeshu (Japanese apricot liqueur) obtained by steam distillation under reduced pressure and from the head-space gas were analyzed by GC and GC-MS. The results obtained from liqueur stored for 1, 2 and 5 years were compared to evaluate the change in the aroma composition during storage. Thirty-eight components involving aldehydes, acids, alcohols and esters were identified and determined from the aroma concentrate obtained by steam distillation under reduced pressure, and 22 components were identified in the head-space gas. The head-space gas contained 6 low-boiling-point components which were not detected in the steam-distilled samples, and these components seemed important for evaluating the aroma of Umeshu. The number of components increased with storage, esters in particular increasing markedly in their kind and content. This indicates that the organic acids in Ume fruit were gradually extracted during storage and formed various esters by combining with ethanol that was present in a large amount. Benzaldehyde was the component present in the largest amount, which declined markedly during storage concomitantly with an increase in the amount of benzoic acid, its ester and acetals. This indicates that benzaldehyde was changed into acetals or oxidized to benzoic acid and then to its esters. These results suggest that the aroma substances in Umeshu, which were at first relatively simple in their composition, were changed to a more complex composition during storage. This could be responsible to the flavor of Umeshu becoming mild and characteristic. The results of sensory tests support this suggestion.

本報告では,義手が適切に処方され利用されることを目標として,能動上腕義手を例にとり,その課題と筆者らの取り組みを示した.能動義手は既知の技術であるが,日本において利用状況は極めて低い.外観を理由に拒否されるが,筋電位制御式の義手と比較し,優れたフィードバック系を有し,特に上腕切断者が自立した生活を送る上では非常に有効な道具となりえるゆえ,適切な理解と評価を受けているとはいいがたい.筆者らは,能動上腕義手の技術的な問題がシンプルな構造ゆえ調整が難しい点にあることに着目し,コントロールケーブルシステムに関する基礎実験と数値シミュレータの作成を進めた,これら取り組みの中間報告と今後の課題について述べた.

1987年9月鹿児島県の其養豚農家で, 子豚が生後8日までに6頭急死する事例が発生した.検査した子豚3頭の臨床・病理・細菌学的所見では特記すべきものは得られず, 有意菌も分離されなかった.しかし, ウイルス学的検査では2頭の各実質臓器でESK細胞に細胞変性効果を示すウイルスが分離された.このウイルスは理化学的, 生物学的および血清学的性状からトガウイルス科のアルファウイルスに属するゲタウイルスと同定した.<BR>なお, 急死直前の子豚, 同腹豚, 母豚からの分離ウイルスに対する中和抗体価は全て<2であったことから, この疾病は分娩後, ゲタケウルスに感染したものと推測された.

1. 大豆煮汁を培地にして粘質物を産生する菌を土壌から36株を分離した。2. 大豆煮汁の蛋白質をプロテアーゼMで加水分解した液体培地を用いて保存菌株と分離株のP-γ-GAの生産を調べた。3. 粘質物の生産量の多かった1株, Bacillus subtilis NRRL B-2612株によるP-γ-GAの生産における培養温度は37℃, 初発pHは6.4であった。4. 大豆煮汁で作られた粘質物が, NMRの測定よりγ結合で有る事, グルタミン酸含量が多い事とグルタミン酸のDL比が6 : 4とD型が多い事, 分子量が210万と大きい事より, P-γ-GAであると確認された。

性教育の実践活動の傾向を明らかにし、今後の性教育のあり方について示唆を得るため、性教育の実践に関する論文を対象に文献検討を行なった。指定と関係機関の連携に関しては、文部科学省のエイズ教育(性教育)推進地域の指定による実践で、学校と他機関や家庭などとの連携が積極的に図られていた。しかし指定期間後の状況は明らかでなく、今後、把握が必要である。対象や教育内容と連携では、対象の年齢が上がるにつれ、また医学的知識を含む内容ほど、連携した実践の割合が高かった。現在、性教育の体系化はされておらず、学校のみに眠らないマルチレベルでの展開や生涯学習なども視野に含め、性教育の体系化が求められる。

A collection survey of the mecopteran insects was carried out in Sugadaira and its vicinities during the periods from April to September in 1994 and from May to September in 1995, as a supplement to the previous study (SUZUKI and ANDO 1987). Panorpa leucoptera and Biltacus mipponicus listed in the former repot were corrected in the present study to P. kagamontana and B. issikii, respectively. Panorpa japonica is bivoltine in the vicinties of Sugadaira lower than ca. 800 m alt., and P. pryeri seems to appear only once in a year. The vertical and seasonal distributions of 17 species recorded in Sugadaira and the vicinities were shown in figures based on the present and previous study.菅平高原およびその周辺には、草原、湿原、渓谷林や根子岳、四阿山などの亜高山帯などがあり、変化に富んだ植生ゆえ、多くの種類の蛾類を産することが知られていた。菅平の蝶類ファウナは、宮田(1963)、 安藤(1964)、小林(1965) らの報告に始まり、その後も、京浜昆虫同窓会(1971)、 松本むしの会(1982)などの報告がある。・・・

一九九〇年代に急速に進行したグローバル化・情報化と呼ばれる社会変化は、宗教教育に関する従来の議論に介在していると考えられる認知フレームに加え、新しい認知フレームを導入することを要請している。日本における宗教教育についての戦後の議論は、宗教知識教育、宗教情操教育、宗派教育という三区分を前提とするものが多い。このうち宗教情操教育が公立学校において可能かどうかをめぐる議論が大きな対立点となってきた。その理由には、近代日本の宗教史の独自の展開が関わっている。しかし、近年は国際理解教育の一環としての宗教に関する教育、多元的価値観の共存を前提とした宗教教育、そして宗教文化教育などと、新しい認知フレームに基づくとみなせる研究が増えてきている。これは、宗教教育に関する規範的視点とは別に、全体社会の変化に対応して形成されたものであり、従来の多くの議論とは異なる新しいフレームが加わった結果であると考える。

Market price is, as Amartya Sen points out, institutional while the prices through which consumer expresses his preference are conceptual. Thus, price may be inadequate as a weight to aggregate goods to measure income when income is used as a yardstick of welfare. Traditionally, economics regards itself as a social science dealing with goods and services. However, economics does not analyze goods and services but only services. Only services are exchanged in the market and physical goods are mere vehicles of services. Material balance approach vis-a-vis traditional market value balance approach will more sharply shed light on the waste problems.

Political advertising plays a significant role in conveying campaign information and constructing images of parties and candidates more directly than the news, the contents of which they have little or no control over. Political parties have prioritized traditional political communication, such as personal contact campaigning and wayside speeches. However, parties have come to rely more on political advertising as a result of the termination of the long-standing dominance of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in the early 1990s. This paper outlines the historical development of political advertising from the emergence of political parties and their campaigning in the 1880s to the online campaigning during the 2013 House of Councilors election, focusing both on the change in the media environment and in election law. The current research also compares the contents and appeal of LDP and non-LDP political advertising in terms of issue presentation and image construction by analyzing political ads in newspapers and on television from 1960 to 2012. Overall, parties have placed emphasis on images over issues in their ads, and election campaigns have been dominated by governing parties. This tendency did not change at all in the online campaigns of the 2013 House of Councilors election. This paper also investigates issues in relation to online political campaigning, including concerns over targeted and tailored online political advertising and selective searches for information by voters that confirm their pre-existing political views, which in turn might decrease political tolerance.
