2004年の現代,HDD(ハードディスク装置)を内蔵したハイブリッドレコーダに録画した番組を見るには,十字型コントローラの複雑な操作が不可欠だ。一方2054年を描いた映画「マイノリティ・リポート」の中で,トム・クルーズ演じる主人公は身振り手振りのジェスチャーで映像を思いのままに再生する。50年も先の話かと思っていたら,家電業界では映画そのままの技術の研究が進んでいた。

He Xun (何遜) is a poet of six dynasties. He had excellent literary talent from his early days, and his poetry was highly praised by Shen Yue (沈約), Fan Yun (范雲), and others, it was appreciated very much in those days. I attempt to translate the poetry of He Xun; this report is the first step.

Bones are important organs for body resistance against force produced by gravity, though the influence of gravity on bone development is unclear. To examine the effects of gravity on osteogenesis, medaka larvae were reared in water or gel under various conditions. For determining the effects on bone development in a state of motion, larvae were reared in water under normal gravity (1g) or hypergravity (5g) conditions. Also, to examine the direct effect of gravity on bone mineralization, larvae were embedded in low melting agarose gel containing alizarin complexone (ALC) and reared for three days under a normal gravity (1g), simulated-microgravity (s-μg) with use of a clinostat device, or 5g condition. Medaka reared in water under the 5g condition showed forward protruding jaws and spreading of the mineralized area of jaw teeth as compared to those reared under the 1g control condition. In addition, the direction of growth of the notochord in the fin region was changed upward in those reared under the 5g condition, accompanied by a part of acetylated tubulin-positive nerves also localized upward, while positive signals for DsRed, expressed by an osterix promoter, in osteoblasts were increased in the fin region. On the other hand, in medaka reared in gel, ALC signals in the fin ray of those in the s-μg condition were increased as compared to those in the 5g condition. Changes noted in medaka larvae over three days indicated osteogenesis adaptation to the specific gravity environment. The present results obtained with an experimental system are considered useful for examinations in the future regarding changes of osteogenesis, which will be needed to clarify the mechanism of the effects of gravity on bone development.

クルクミンアナログGO-Y030、及びGO-Y078が各種mRNAやmiRNAに与える影響を調べた。大腸癌細胞株では41,058種のmRNAのうち、GO-Y030で発現が増減するものにBCL-2, c-Myc, TP53などが含まれる。また、2,669種のmiRNAのうち、GO-Y030で28種、GO-Y078で11種の発現増強を認めた。GO-Y078によって血管内皮細胞株で発現が変動するmRNAは200%以上の発現増強が470種、50%以下の発現低下が243種あった。GO-Y030でhas-miR-19b-3pの発現が亢進した。また、GO-Y078によって5種類のmiRNAの発現が低下した。

グローバル化の時代における、微細な産業内貿易、企業の多国籍展開といった現象を説明する一つの論理として、組織能力とアーキテクチャの適合性を重視する設計立地の比較優位論がある。これまで、多くの日本企業が「生産は中国へ移し、設計は日本に残す」という、比較的シンプルな立地方針で日中生産・設計分業を進めてきた。これは、華南の低賃金・単能工・モジュラー生産というモデルを前提にした分業構想である。しかし、中国での賃金は高騰を続けており、東莞や青島などに進出した低賃金のみに依存する外国企業は、中国から撤退を始めているように見受けられる。このように、多国籍企業は、最適立地を見直す必要に迫られている。中国には、産業平均の定着率が比較的良い地域や企業の定着政策次第で、その離職率をさらに下げる余地のある地域がある。その典型例が大連をはじめとした東北地域であり、本研究では、日系企業2社の大連拠点の事例研究を行った。大連をはじめとした東北地域では、華南や長江と比べて賃金が低いことに加えて、賃金水準に対して低い離職率、豊富な設計技術者の供給など、インテグラル型製品に適した労働環境が存在する。そこでは、日本企業は、従来考えられていた日中生産・設計分業とは異なる形での企業内国際分業体制を構築可能である。ものづくり組織能力の偏在とアーキテクチャの適合の観点から中国への国際展開を考えた場合、インテグラル・アーキテクチャ寄りの設計業務の一部を中国で行うことが可能であるということが示唆される。

The Four-lanes widening construction in WAKATO bridge is to change RC slab for steel deck with assuring the regular traffic to run. Some problem about it were studied before this work technically or constitutively. We should reported here of an observation result and management of deformation caused by the variation of load system. In the meantime, the variation of vibration characteristics, the affection to stability of active and wind-standing with the construction are also dealt with. The result was that it is a best method for deformation management to use a water-level connecting pipe that made the measurement data in accordance with the calculation almost. Therefore, the method and procedure of construction this time may be thought adoptable. On the other hand, the vibration characteristics has no any difference with widening. Stability of the widened bridge with wind-standing equipment is better than it was.

失語症状の長期経過を明らかにする研究の一環として, 失語症例の超長期的言語機能回復後の経過, および言語機能に低下を示した症例の特徴について検討した。対象は, 右利きの左大脳半球一側損傷後に失語症を呈した 270 例中, 2 年以上経過を追跡することができ, かつフォローアップの最終評価時年齢が 70 歳以下であった 151 例。言語機能回復訓練実施中あるいは訓練終了後に, SLTA 総合評価法合計得点が低下した症例が 151 例中 37 例 (24.5%) 存在した。内訳は, 最高到達点から 1 点低下した症例が 19 例, 2 点以上低下した症例が 18 例であった。     SLTA 総合評価法得点を合成項目別に検討すると, 約 90% の症例で訓練によって回復した合成項目に低下を認めたことから, 訓練により回復した機能は必ずしも保持されるのではなく, 脆弱であるとことが示唆された。
