【目的】近年,自然解凍冷凍食品の需要が高まっている。しかし,根菜類は凍結すると解凍時に離水を伴って食感が軟化,スポンジ化し品質が悪くなる。これは凍結により生成した氷結晶が成長し,組織を損傷することが原因だと知られている。我々は,これまでに液体窒素凍結が根菜の離水抑制や自然解凍後の食感の維持に効果があることを報告した。本研究では冷凍根菜の品質向上を目的に,液体窒素凍結より簡便なブライン凍結の有用性について検討した。【方法】根菜類(ニンジン,ゴボウ,ダイコン,ジャガイモ)を用いて凍結速度による品質の違いを評価した。各食材を一辺30mmの立方体形にし,喫食可能な硬さになるまでボイルした。放冷した食材をエアブラスト凍結(-40℃),ブライン凍結(-10,-20,-30℃)液体窒素凍結(-196℃)し,0〜-10℃に達する時間を測定した。10℃に設定した恒温機でサンプルの解凍を行い,食味,ドリップ量,破断強度を未凍結品と比較した。【結果および考察】ニンジンの凍結時間は,エアブラスト凍結では17分,ブライン凍結(-30℃)では3分であり,ブライン凍結の方がより凍結速度が速かった。しかし,ドリップ量,破断強度に差はみられなかった。食味においても差はなく,未凍結品と比較して食感の軟化とスポンジ化がみられた。凍結時間が数秒である液体窒素凍結では,食味,ドリップ量,破断強度ともに未凍結品に近い品質が維持された。自然解凍後の根菜類の品質向上のためにはブライン凍結以上の凍結速度が必要であると考えられた。

We retrospectively studied of 20 patients who were admitted to the department of cardiovascular internal medicine of our hospital between January 2001 and March 2007 for a diagnosis of infective endocarditis. On blood cultures, oral bacteria were detected in 9 patients. Furthermore, 10 of the 20 patients visited our department. We examined the correlation of dental treatments and oral diseases with infective endocarditis in the 10 patients. The results of the blood cultures suggested correlations of dental treatments or oral diseases with infective endocarditis in 4 patients. Two patients had oral infections, while the other 2 had undergone dental treatment within 2 weeks before the onset of infective endocarditis. Currently, there are two different guidelines (AHA2007 and JCS2008) for the prevention of infective endocarditis. As stated in the JCS2008 guidelines, we believe that, it is necessary to carefully administer prophylactic antibacterial drugs to patients undergoing dental treatments. In addition, we also believe that it is necessary to improve oral hygiene conditions to prevent infective endocarditis associated with dental treatments or oral diseases.

本稿は、ポール・M・スウィージーの資本主義発展論を、彼のローザ・ルクセンブルク論の検討を通して明らかにするものである。ローザ・ルクセンブルクの『資本蓄積論』は、資本主義の枠内での資本蓄積の可能性を否定し、剰余価値実現のための需要を非資本主義世界に求めた。この理論は多くのマルクス主義者によって否定されてきたが、スウィージーはこの理論を否定しながらも、彼女を高く評価し、彼女の問題意識を引き継ぎながら自らの理論を構築していった。初期の主著『資本主義発展の理論』のローザ・ルクセンブルク論、そしてローザ・ルクセンブルク『資本蓄積論』のイタリア語版によせた序文にはルクセンブルクに対する批判とともに、彼女の問題意識をどう引き継ぐかという問題意識が示される。そして『資本主義発展の理論』の16章「世界経済」では、ルクセンブルクの理論を世界経済分析に発展させ、非資本主義地域が資本主義地域の資本輸出の対象となり、資本蓄積の源泉となることを明らかにしたのである。

A Relation between Q-value of a linear oscillator and its frequency stability is described here. When an external force in Roexp iωt (ω=ω_0+ω_1 : ω_0 resonance frequency of the oscillator: ω_l : random variable frequency) exerts on the oscillator with the resistant force proportional to its velocity, and when σ, variation of ωl, is greater than Δω(=ω_0/2Q), a calculation is tried by aid of statistical method. Moreover in this report, correlation fu-function of ω_1 is assumed to be quasi-static, that is the power spectrum of the external force is Gaussian type. And the following result is obtained. S=√<1/(2Q)(√<2/π>σ/(ω_0)-1/Q> where s is fractional frequency stability of the oscillator.

The biomechanical effects of an intramedullary nail system for treating subtrochanteric fracture during bone healing is still unclear. The aim of this study was to analyze the stress conditions of a subtrochanteric fracture model implanted with an intramedullary nail system and augmentation plate under stretching exercise. Two displacement conditions assuming stretching exercise were considered. The finite element (FE) model of a subject undergoing surgery with the intramedullary nail system and augmentation plate was constructed based on post-operative computed tomography images. A 1-mm-thick callus was set in the gaps positioned at the fracture line. Bone healing was defined as a change in the Young's modulus of the callus. The orced displacements from the medial and lateral sides were applied to the distal part of the FE model, respectively. In the initial stage of bone healing, there was a noticeable difference between stress distributions of the callus under displacements from the medial and lateral sides. The compressive stress was widely distributed in the callus by the displacement from the lateral side. However, the tensional stress in the callus was increased by displacement from the medial side. Stretching exercise, such as displacement from medial direction, carries a risk of non-union.
