グローバルに利用されているソーシャルメディアやメッセージングサービスについて,その一部は利用者の死後のデータの扱いを明記している.サービスの利用者はどのように考えているのか,サービスの利用頻度や目的と,自分の死後そのデータをどのように扱いたいかの意向について日本 ・米国 ・フランスの比較調査を実施した.その結果,FB と Instagram については,日本は削除が大半を占めた一方で,米国では 「追悼モード」 での保存が多数を占めた.また,Twitter については,日本では情報収集が利用目的であり,死後も大半は削除を希望しているが,米国 ・フランスでは日常的なコミュニケーション手段として使われており,削除を希望する割合も少ないなど,国による違いが見えた.

子宮内膜症はエストロゲン(E2)依存性の慢性炎症性疾患である.内膜症には不明な点が多く,その病態をひとつの因子で一元的に説明することは困難である.私どもは過去3年間(H21-23),内膜症でのLPSとマクロファージ(Mφ)の役割について検討を重ねてきたが,内膜症の病態を説明する仮説として,生得免疫を司るLPSとTLR4を介した「bacterial contamination hypothesis」に至った.内膜症の月経血においては,非内膜症コントロールに比して有意に大腸菌(E. coli)のコンタミネーションが多く,内膜症の月経血あるいは腹水中ではエンドトキシン(LPS)濃度が有意に高いことが認められた(Fertil Steril 2010 ; 94 : 2860-3).また, TLR4を介した内膜症の増殖では, LPSとストレス蛋白であるHsp70との分子クロストークが存在することを見いだした(7^<th> FAOPS Congress,台北, 2011).また, LPSとE2が協働的にERおよびTLR4を介してマクロファージが惹起する局所炎症を誘導することを報告した(第55回日本生殖医学会,徳島市, 2010)

迷惑施設や原子力施設の継続的な事業運営や設置などに関するリスク情報開示は, 社会現象としても数多く取り上げられている。行政は住民によりリスク情報開示を求められている。しかし、リスク情報開示では, 行政と住民の間には, 情報の非対称性や情報保有度などの情報ギャップが存在する。そこで、本論文ではリスク情報開示を、行政と住民の相互作用と考え、リスク情報開示ゲームとして定式化する。これにより、行政と住民の代替案の得失に関するモデルを構築し、行政のリスク情報開示における代替案の性質を明らかにする。住民の行動は、満足化意思決定理論によるモデル化を行う。これは、住民が満足していれば、問題意識は通常あまり高くないという状況を表現している。行政の行動は、累積プロスペクト理論によるモデル化を行う。これは、行政が非開示というリスク追求行動をとる可能性を表現している。その結果、自発的開示ゲーム、安心ゲーム、情報探索ゲーム、強制開示ゲームの4種類のモデルとなることが分かった。安心ゲームと情報探索ゲームでは、均衡解は次善解であり最適解になってない。そこで、行政の戦略と住民の情報保有度についてのモデル化を行う。この結果、行政に対しては監視、住民に対しては啓蒙、それぞれの役割を果たすエージェント(ガーディアン・エージェント(Guardian Agent)と呼ぶ)を導入すると、強制開示によらなくてもパレート解を達成できる可能性があることを示す。ガーディアン・エージェントの例としては、ファシリテータやNPO等をあげることができる。

The vomeronasal organ (VNO) plays a key role in sensing pheromonal cues, which elicit innate responses and induce social and sexual behaviors. The vomeronasal receptor 1 genes, V1Rs, encode members of a pheromone receptor family that are mainly expressed in the VNO. Previous studies have revealed that the V1R family shows extraordinary variety among mammalian species owing to successive gene gains and losses. Because species-specific pheromonal interaction may facilitate species-specific reproductive behaviors, understanding the evolution of V1Rs in terms of their origin, repertoire and phylogeny should provide insight into the mechanisms of animal diversification. Here I summarize recent studies about the V1R family from its initial discovery in the rat genome to extensive comparative analyses among vertebrates. I further introduce our recent findings for V1Rs in a broad range of vertebrates, which reveal unexpected diversity as well as shared features common among lineages.

This study sought to develop an instrument for assessment of motivation for exercise, the Exercise Orientation Scale, and use it to examine the relationship between exercise orientation and use of a behavioral change technique in an exercise setting. In Study 1 designed to develop the scale, we employed 204 elementary school students, 310 junior high school students, and 252 university students. Factor analysis of the 18-item Exercise Orientation Scale revealed a six-factor structure comprising (1) relatedness orientation, (2) discipline orientation, (3) fulfillment orientation, (4) practice orientation, (5) reward orientation, and (6) superiority orientation. The scale was found to have reliability and validity. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed to examine differences in exercise orientation by sex and developmental stage. The scores for fulfillment orientation, reward orientation, and relatedness orientation differed significantly between boys and girls: boys had significantly higher fulfillment and reward orientation scores, while girls had significantly higher relatedness orientation scores. Almost all orientation scores for elementary school students were significantly higher than those for the older groups. In Study 2, the participants were 195 university students. Covariance structure analysis revealed that content-related motivation (i.e. the practice, discipline, and fulfillment orientation factors) in particular predicted the use of a behavioral change technique to promote exercise participation. Moreover, fulfillment orientation was directly related to the duration of exercise participation. The results of these studies suggest that content-related motivation promotes exercise participation via the use of a behavioral change technique.

本論文は、従来、職業意識の涵養や就業力の育成という観点から語られることが多かったインターンシップ経験に関し、大学ならではの知や認知面の能力・スキルの獲得にそれがいかなる効果を及ぼしているのかを明らかにしようとするものである。インターンシップ経験者・未経験者に、白身の能力・スキルの自己評価等をアンケート調査で尋ねた。分析の結果3点が明らかになった。(1)インターンシップ経験者はその経験を通じて対人スキルや自己管理能力の獲得に効果を感じており、因果関係を推論する力や文章読解・表現力といった認知能力、大学での専攻に関係した専門知識等の獲得にはあまり効果を感していない。(2)インターンシップ経験者と未経験者とでは、現在の能力・スキル等に対する自己評価は経験者の方が高く、特に「主体的に大学の学習に取り組もうとする」「遅刻をしない」「心や身体をコントロールする」「資格・検定をとろうとする意欲・努力」といった、個人に内在する意欲に近い項目で両者に有意な差がみられた。(3)インターンシップ経験者は、未経験者に比べ、大学の授業に対しその活用法を知りたいと望み、インターンシップが大学の専攻と関わりがあると認識しているにも関わらず、インターンシップが大学での学びに与えるフィードバックは少ないというジレンマがある。以上の知見をもとに、学生の意識や大学が提供するインターンシッププログラムのあり方が、インターンシップの効果の実感に影響を与えている可能性があるという示唆を導きだした。

This paper analyzes effects of internship on undergraduates' attitude toward work. The analysis in this paper is taken account for types of internship program and routes to internship participation. From the results estimated by ordered probit model, it is shown that a practical internship program enhances undergraduates' attitude toward work and understanding about type of job, but an internship as part-time job weakens them. In addition, a long term internship and a task achievement type internship improve them among undergraduates who participated in an internship without a relation of university. Those effects are not observed among undergraduates who participated in an internship as a class of university.

It is well known that the characteristics of rubber vibration isolators depend upon their shapes. So the authors obtained experimental equations which show the variations of their characteristics in relation to the shape factor S=(cross sectional area)/(free surface area). They previously proposed the successive approximation method already on a supposition that the variations of characteristics are chiefly caused by shape effect due to their deformations. Here the more accurate approximation method is presented on a supposition that the deformed shape is a sort of rotating parabolic body. And the radius of curvature of bonded part largely influences the moduli of rubber vibration isolators, but even in such cases this calculating method is applicable.

深海熱水噴出孔では海底面から熱水が噴出し、周囲の海水によって冷却されることで鉱物が沈殿し鉱体が形成される。我々はこの鉱体の主要成分である硫化鉱物が導電性を持つことを明らかにしている。鉱床下に存在し、海底に湧出する熱水は還元的な化合物(硫化水素、水素、メタン)に富み、海底面から浸透し鉱床近傍で接する海水は酸化的な化合物(酸素、硝酸、硫酸)を含む。我々は、熱水中の還元剤の持つ電子が硫化鉱物を介して海水中の酸化剤に受け渡される放電現象の存在を提唱し、実際にこの現象が深海熱水噴出域の海底の広域で起きていることを現場電気化学計測によって明らかにした。また、この放電現象を人為的に制御することで発電技術として利用可能であることも明らかにしている。本発表では、上記について説明するとともに、今後の深海底発電技術の開発、およびその模擬として行っている陸上温泉での発電試験の結果についても紹介する。

ビスカスカップリングの普及に必要不可欠である安定性に優れたオイルの開発を目的に検討した。高粘度のジメチルシリコーンオイルの安定性をビスカスカップリングを用いた台上試験で調べた結果, 比較的低温においても粘度増加さらにはゲル化を起こすことがわかった。このジメチルシリコーンオイルのゲル化は, プレートの摩擦や摩耗粉(窒化鉄) が関係するビスカスカップリング特有の挙動であり, ゲル化防止には従来の耐熱向上剤では効果がほとんどなく, 特定の極圧剤が有効であることを見い出した。これらの知見に基づいて, 実用上, 極めて安定性に優れるビスカスカップリングオイルを開発した。
