Twitterでは他のユーザをフォローすると,そのユーザ(フォロイー)のツイートが自分のタイムライン(TL)に表示されるようになる.そのため,自分と同じ興味や趣味についてツイートしているユーザをフォローすることで,自分のTLを充実させることも可能である.しかしながら,Twitterには数多くのユーザが存在しているため,その中からフォローしたくなるようなユーザ(フォロイー候補)を探し出すのは面倒な作業といえる.この問題を解決するために,従来から様々なフォロイー推薦手法が提案されている.これまでの研究では,ツイートの話題が似ているユーザをフォロイー候補として推薦する場合が多いが,ツイートの話題が似ているからといって,その話題に対する感情的態度(若しくは感情的傾向)も似ているとは限らない.そこで本論文では,共通の話題があり,かつその共通の話題に対して似たような感情的態度を示しているユーザをフォロイー候補として推薦する手法を提案する.なお,本論文では,ユーザの感情的態度を表すための感情軸として,「喜・好」,「安」,「昂」,「哀」,「怖」,「怒・厭」,「驚」,「恥」の8軸を採用する.

研究成果を論文執筆により社会に公表することは,研究者にとって非常に重要なタスクであり、論文執筆を始めるまでに執筆者は長期にわたる研究活動を行っている.しかし、論文執筆の経験が浅い学生の場合,論文を書き上げるハードルは非常に高い.その理由として、執筆開始までに蓄積してきた研究活動の記録の中から必要な情報を探し出し、整理することが困難であることが挙げられる.そこで本研究では,日常的な研究活動の中で閲覧・作成するデジタルコンテンツ(論文・研究に関する様々なメモ・発表資料等)に論文を執筆するために必要な情報が含まれていると仮定した.そして、論文執筆時に,それらのコンテンツの必要な部分を容易に検索・参照・引用可能な仕組みを著者に提供することにより、論文執筆に必要な情報の可視化を行い,執筆作業の効率化を実現する.

論文(Article)本稿は、NHK朝の連続テレビ小説『あまちゃん』(2013)が、ロケ地である岩手県久慈市においてどのように受容されていたのかを現地調査に基づいて探り、ドラマ放送やそれを機に起こったツーリズムにより地域側にどのような効果がもたらされたのか、それがどのような意味を持っていったと言えるのかを考察した。その結果、『あまちゃん』の受容によって、地域側に観光客増加等の経済的な効果がもたらされたことに加え、自らの地域に関心や愛着を持ち、文化意識を高める機会を得たと考えられる。そして、放送終了後も『あまちゃん』を生かした発展的なまちづくりを継続して行うことで、「久慈市=『あまちゃん』」というイメージを一層強化させていっている。This study explores the reception of the 88th NHK morning TV drama Amachan(2013) in Kuji, Iwate prefecture where is the main location of this drama, through participatory observation and semi-structured interview. This article discusses the effects of this drama for featured location's residents from the perspective of the economic aspect and enhancement of intangible value in the host community, negative aspects. Results show the positive economic impact on the destination due to attracting tourists. In addition, it is argued that contents tourism provides the opportunities for the local residents to be concerned with their community and their own culture. Moreover, efforts at regional revitalization using Amachan are expanding in Kuji after this drama.

This study introduces large-scale field experiments of VoiceTra, which is the world's first speech-to-speech multilingual translation application for smart phones. In the study, approximately 10 million input utterances were collected since the experiments commenced. The usage of collected data was analyzed and discussed. The study has several important contributions. First, it explains system configuration, communication protocol between clients and servers, and details of multilingual automatic speech recognition, multilingual machine translation, and multilingual speech synthesis subsystems. Second, it demonstrates the effects of mid-term system updates using collected data to improve an acoustic model, a language model, and a dictionary. Third, it analyzes system usage.

視覚研究の歴史は長い。しかし,質感の研究が盛り上がってきたのはごく最近のことである。単純化された刺激の知覚の分析を得意とする視覚科学にとって,質感は複雑すぎる現象だった。しかし,この複雑な現象に挑戦しなければ,現実世界における視覚は理解できない。近年,この問題に挑戦するための理論と研究手段も揃ってきた。本論ではこのような研究背景を述べたあと,視覚的質感知覚にかかわる人間研究を具体的に紹介する。質感を決定する基本的な物理特性は表面の光の反射特性である。照明や表面形状が反射特性の知覚にどのように影響するのかを中心に説明しながら,人間の視覚系がいかに質感の推定を行っているかを考察する。

Since the time of pioneer work of Lavoisier in 18th century, calorimetry have been one of the fundamental approaches in the study of bioenergetics. A review of the historical background of the calorimetric investigations in the field of bioenergetics was briefly described. Our recent construction of a twin-type microcalorimeter equipped with rapid response microthermistors and oxygen electrode, which allows simultaneous recording of heat production and oxygen consumption in a small volume (5cm3) of biochemical reaction systems, was introduced. Performance of the apparatus was tested with acid base neutralization reaction and some enzymatic reactions. Results from the measurements of the energy balance in the energy transducing reactions of rat liver mitochondria under various respiratory states were described with special interest on the mechanism and control of heat production in mitochondria by long chain unsaturated fatty acids.

Aim: The effect of nitroglycerin on proper arterial stiffness of the arterial tree has not been fully clarified. The cardio-ankle vascular index (CAVI), which is an application of the stiffness parameter β theory on the arterial tree from the origin of the aorta to the ankle, was developed recently. Furthermore, the stiffness of the aorta (heart-thigh β (htBeta)) and of the femoral-tibial arteries (thigh to ankle β (taBeta)) could be monitored by applying the same theory. The effects of nitroglycerin on CAVI, htBeta, and taBeta were studied comparing the values of healthy people and those of arteriosclerotic patients.Methods: The subjects were healthy people (CAVI <7.5, n=25) and arteriosclerotic patients (CAVI >9, n=25). Nitroglycerin (0.3 mg) was administrated sublingually, and various arterial stiffness indices were measured at one-minute intervals for a period of 20 minutes using Vasera VS-1500 (Fukuda Denshi, Tokyo).Results: After the administration of nitroglycerin in healthy people, CAVI decreased significantly after 5 min. [from 6.76(6.32-7.27) to 5.50(4.70-6.21), P<0.05], and recovered after 15 min. htBeta [from 5.10(4.76-5.76) to 3.96(3.35-4.79), P<0.05], and taBeta [from 14.41(10.80-16.33) to 10.72 (9.19-13.01), P<0.05] also decreased significantly. In arteriosclerotic patients, CAVI decreased after 5 min. [from 10.47(9.67-11.29) to 9.71(8.74-10.57), P<0.05] and recovered after 15 min. htBeta did not significantly change [from 12.00(11.46-13.21) to 11.81(10.14-13.83), ns], but taBeta decreased significantly [from 18.55(12.93-23.42) to 12.37(9.68-16.99), P<0.05].Conclusion: These results indicate that a nitroglycerin-induced decrease of arterial stiffness is more prominent in muscular arteries than in elastic arteries, and this effect was preserved much more prominently in arteriosclerotic patients than in healthy people.

中国では改革開放政策が打ち出され、それが広く人々に浸透していく1990年代まで、「聖地」の多くは「革命聖地」を意味していた。つまり共産党の愛国教育基地でもあった。だが近年、中国社会のなかで「聖地」の「再開発」が進んでいる。本発表で対象とするのは客家というエスニックグループの聖地である。行政主導により、少数民族でも宗教団体でもない客家というエスニックグループの「聖地」がつくられる意義を議論する。

発育鶏卵漿尿膜(CAM)及び鶏腎培養細胞(CK)由来の鶏アデノウイルス(FAV)寒天ゲル内沈降(AGP)抗原の反応性を実験感染鶏血清及び野外鶏血清を用いて比較し, 次の成績を得た. 実験感染鶏血清の両由来抗原による陽性率はFAVの株(血清型)の違いによって異なり, ヘテロ抗原での陽性率はホモ抗原でのそれに比べて低く, またヘテロ抗原での抗体価もホモ抗原の抗体価に比べて低い傾向を示した. さらに, CAM由来抗原を用いた方がCK由来抗原の場合よりも高い陽性率, 又は高い抗体価の得られる場合が多かった. CAM由来抗原を用いて野外鶏血清を検査したところ, 用いる抗原(血清型)によって抗体陽性率は異なったが, 複数の抗原を混合することにより, 陽性率は高まった. このことから, FAVの血清疫学調査にはCAM由来の複数の血清型のAGP抗原を用いて行うことが望ましいと考えられた.
