We have developed a safe and practical synthetic method for preparing axially chiral diphenyl dicarboxylates using Pd-catalyzed external-CO-free carbonylation with phenyl formate as a CO surrogate. Optimized conditions consisted of axially chiral [1,1′-binaphthalene]-2,2′-diyl ditriflate and its congeners, each easily prepared from commercially available enantiomerically pure diols, Pd(OAc)2, 1,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)propane, ethyldiisopropylamine, and no solvent. To demonstrate the potential utility of these products, this method was conducted on gram-scale and the phenyl ester products were converted to other useful compounds, and both processes were carried out without difficulty.

Unconventional oil and gas attract attention as next generation energy, because of their vast amount of resources. A part of the unconventional oil and gas has been already produced on a commercial scale, while the development of some of them is still in the stage of research. This paper first reviews the methodologies for producing unconventional oil and gas, which are already utilized on a commercial basis or are considered to be promising in the research stage. It is, then, introduced how the existing production methods are being improved/modified to increase the productivity of unconventional oil and gas.In the development of heavy oil/extra heavy oil/bitumen, advanced production methods including the combination of steam and solvent injection as well as the in-situ upgrading are investigated besides conventional steam injection and in-situ combustion. In the shale gas/oil exploitation, it is well-known that the improvement and integration of horizontal well, multi-stage hydraulic fracturing and micro-seismic technologies have made it possible to dramatically increase the production rate. However, the area of high productivity, which is called a ‘sweet spot,’ is confined to small parts of a formation. Toward the identification of this sweet spot, there is a variety of research work conducted, including the examination of the effects of reservoir properties such as natural fracture permeability, matrix permeability and hydraulic fracture length on gas/oil production, and the investigation of the fluid flow mechanism through micro organic pores. The research work for the development of methane hydrate has started recently. Although the superiority of the depressurization method over other methods such as thermal methods has been revealed, the recovery of methane by depressurization is expected to be not more than 50-60%. The methodologies that can be applied in conjunction with and/or after depressurization are being pursued.

本稿は、約二ヶ月間に渡り週一回ペアで行われた日本語中上級学習者のトピック会話の、教師による誤用訂正と学習者の誤用自己訂正を集計・分析したものである。その結果、学習者の誤用は文法の誤用が最も多いことが分かった。また誤用の具体例を見ると、誤用の分類項目の全てに渡って誤用は特定の誤用に集中していた。一方、学習者の誤用自己訂正は「語彙」の訂正率が最も高く「助詞」の訂正率が最も低かった。「語彙」では誤用数が多かった項目は、訂正率も高かったが、分類項目「文法」では多くの誤用があつた項目の訂正率は逆に低かった。教師は学習者の誤用を毎週添削してフィードバックしてきたが、この間に学習者は間違いやすい「文法」に対する自己訂正がさほど行えなかったと言えよう。このことは正確な日本語運用には、学習者の誤用を訂正してフィードバックするだけでは充分とは言えず、間違えやすい具体的な「文法」項目や「助詞」を、その言語形式に焦点を当てて復習することがきわめて重要であることを示唆している。この調査により、全体としての中上級学習者が発話上間違えやすい言語項目、並びに個々人のそれを突き止めることができた。学習者のクラス在籍中に週ごとの誤用を集計するなら、彼らの日本語学習を効率的に援助できる。

中国は市場経済導入によって,商品の生産・流通構造も大幅変化した。本論においでは,生産と流通が著しく変貌するシイタケを取り上げ,中国最大の産地漸江省慶元県の生産・流通構造の分析を通じて,生産の小規模性,下級品の過剰生産,流通価格の仲買人支配状態及び卸売市場システムの未整備など生産・流通上の諸問題を明らかにするとともに,今後の方向として中国においても,販売ルートの多様化,仲買人にかわる近代的な産地出荷組織の形成などの新たな流通機能を作り出す必要があることを解明した。

The so-called «Ansei Five-Power Treaties» signed in 1858 madepossible for US, Russian, Dutch, English and French nationals to livein the open ports of Japan. As a consequence, missionaries alsobegan to arrive there, and among them were the two fi rst Frenchmissionaries to live in Mainland Japan, father Girard in Edo andKanagawa (arrived 6 Sept. 1859) and father Mermet in Hakodate(arrived 25 Nov. 1859).Born in Sept. 1828, Mermet entered the seminary of the ParisForeign Missions in 1852, and after having been ordained, he left forJapan on 25 Aug. 1854. From February 1855, he stayed in theRyûkyû Islands in order to learn Japanese, but he had to go back toHong-Kong in October 1856. Nevertheless, when he arrived inHakodate, Mermet, who had also taken part as Baron Gros'interpreter in the negotiations for the fi rst Japanese-French treatyin October 1858, already had a deep knowledge of Japan and of theJapanese language. He then stayed in Hakodate until the summer of1863, but as the propagation of Christianity was still forbidden inJapan from the spring of 1864, he had to engage into many otheractivities. After having returned to France for a short time, Mermet wasengaged as interpreter by Roches, the second French Minister inJapan from the spring 1864. During the two years and a half thathe served at the French legation, he again took part in a widerange of activities. The one that we wish to talk about in thisarticle is the role that Mermet played during the negotiations forthe first Italian-Japanese treaty, which took place between july and september 1866.

EU加盟国は、2004年に成立したEU第13会社指令を2006年5月までに国内法化する義務を負っている。本稿は、ドイツがどのように指令を国内法化しようとしているのか、公表された政府草案について検討する。ドイツは、指令が認める選択権を行使して、取締役の中立義務や透視ルール(ブレークスルー・ルール)についてはオプト・アウトし、国内企業にオプト・インすることを認めていることが大きな特徴である。わが国で参考になるものとしては、公開買付法でも残留株主に株式買受請求権を定めたこと、および新たに規定した商法上の開示規制であることを指摘している。

Reduction in glomerular filtration rate (GFR) is a common complication in advanced stages of heart failure (HF). The convenient and precise assessment for GFR would be useful for early detection of renal impairment in HF dogs. Our hypothesis of this study was the GFR would be reduced in advanced stages of HF from chronic mitral valvular disease (CMVI), as indicated by renal markers including serum cystatin-C (Cys-C) and symmetric dimethylarginine (SDMA) concentrations. Forty-three client-owned dogs consisting of 33 dogs with different stages of HF from CMVI and 10 age-matched healthy dogs were enrolled in this study. Serum Cys-C and SDMA concentrations along with other renal (i.e., urea nitrogen and creatinine) and echocardiographic markers were evaluated in healthy and CMVI dogs. Serum Cys-C concentrations were 1.4 ± 0.4 mg/l in control, 2.1 ± 0.9 mg/l in ISACHC I, 2.9 ± 0.8 mg/l in ISACHC II and 3.6 ± 0.6 mg/l in ISACHC III dogs, whereas serum SDMA concentrations were 8 ± 2 ug/dl in control, 14 ± 3 ug/dl in ISACHC I, 18 ± 6 ug/dl in ISACHC II and 22 ± 7 ug/dl in ISACHC III dogs. There was close correlation of serum Cys-C and SDMA concentrations to serum creatinine, urea nitrogen and the severity of HF. Our study demonstrated that the GFR was decreased in dogs with CMVI having earlier stages of HF.

アスペルガー症候群(Asperger syndrome 以下AS と表記)を持つ3人の若い女性において見られた、恋愛と性の課題の特徴をまとめ、援助の仕方について検討した。AS を持つ女性にとって、恋愛や性の課題のみがとりわけ特別な障害というわけではない。しかしこれらの課題は、健常人でも各自の認知バイアスの歪みを受けやすいもので、AS の方にとっては、とりわけその個性の独自性に修飾されやすいものであった。また、危険な対処行動に至る場合もありうることがわかった。このため、3 例のそれぞれが持つ、AS 独自の認知特徴に焦点を当てた治療とカウンセリングの仕方について検討し、考察した。Romance and sexual behavior are two of many behavioral problems in people suffering from Asperger's Syndrome (AS). The problems are easily affected by distorted cognitive bias in both AS individuals and normal subjects, which may lead to unsafe coping behaviors. Problematic behaviors related to romance and sexuality of three women with AS were investigated, and methods of psychological support are suggested.Based on the results of the study, the authors recommend methods of treatment and counseling utilizing supportive psychotherapy focusing on their own cognition..

シクロ[8]ピロールとピレンカルボキシレートはアセトニトリル中で超分子錯体を形成することを見いだした。UV-vis滴定より求めた錯形成定数は2.6 x 105 M-1と決定され、非常に強く錯形成することが分かった。この超分子錯体の溶液にナノ秒レーザーフラッシュフォトリシスを行うと、電荷分離状態に由来する過渡吸収帯が観測された。電荷分離寿命は300マイクロ秒であった。

近年、「留学」の在留資格を有する外国人(以下「留学生」と称する)の日本企業への就職希望率は上昇しているにも関わらず、実際の就職率は低迷している。その一因として、日本独特の就職制度が考えられる。日本では一般的に就職活動は卒業予定年度の前年度(B3,Ml)から始める慣行がある。その慣行を知らずに就職活動を開始する時期が遅れるケースが複数報告されている。手遅れになる前に留学生に情報を伝える有効な対策が早急に望まれている。本調査報告ではまず、日本独特の就職制度とそれを支える就職支援産業に触れ、諸外国の就活事情および、留学生がどのように日本の就職活動に関わる情報を得たかについてアンケート調査を実施した結果を報告する。そして留学生の日本での就職を困難にさせている要因を明確化した上で、有効な情報伝達手段を提案する。

地下水中に自生するバクテリアを用いた亜ヒ酸・砒酸・鉄・マンガン・アンモニア同時除去の生物ろ過システムの開発を行ってきた。様々なバクテリアのうち,鉄バクテリア(溶解性の鉄及びマンガンを生物学的に酸化し,これらを酸化物として沈積させるバクテリア)および硝化菌が著者らの生物ろ過システムでは大きな役割を果たす。この報告では2004年以来の生物ろ過のパイロット試験結果を概括する。目的は砒素の効率的除去を達成するための最適運転条件探索である。
