紀伊半島におけるツツガムシ病と紅斑熱の発生状況をみると、和歌山県の田辺市周辺では、ツツガムシ病(Kawasaki型)の発生はあるが紅斑熱の発生は認められないのに対し、これに隣接する東牟婁郡古座川町方面では、ツツガムシ病の発生はないが、田辺市に比べ人口がはるかに少ないにもかかわらず紅斑熱の発生が相当認められ、隣接するこれらの地域で両疾患が住み分けているようにみえる。そこで、これらの地域におけるベクター相や環境要因を調査し、各地域で違いがあるものか検討した。田辺市のツツガムシ病流行地域では、植生上から長時間の採集でようやくフタトゲチマダニ(Hlon)、キチマダニ(Hfl)およびヤマアラシチマダニなど、また野鼠からタイワンカクマダニ(Dt)が採取されたものの、環境は梅や蜜柑畑で藪が少なくやや乾燥した状態で、マダニの生息密度は低かった。一方、紅斑熱の流行地の古座川町では、Hlon、Hflおよびタカサゴキララマダニなどが植生上から、またDtなどが野鼠から得られ、環境は森林や藪が多く湿潤で、動物の生息密度も高いようで、多くのマダニが比較的容易に植生上から採取された。以上の結果から、いずれの地域にも紅斑熱のベクターとなりうるマダニ種が生息していたが、その生息密度には有意な隔たりがあり、地域住民がこれらのマダニの刺咬を受ける頻度(可能性)の高低が、紅斑熱の分布域を分かつ重要な要因であることが示唆された。また、紅斑熱の流行地における住民からの聞き取り調査で、生活環境へのシカやイノシシの出没が近年高まる傾向にあり、これら大動物の密度上昇により、リケッチア保有マダニの拡がりないし増殖が起こっている可能性も考えられた。 本研究は、平成20年度厚労科研の新興・再興感染症研究事業「リケッチア感染症の国内実態調査及び早期診断体制の確立による早期警鐘システムの構築」の一環である。

雨水流出による水害を回避するためのプレキャストコンクリート構造の地下貯水槽を開発した。本貯水槽の特徴は, 屋根部材をプレストレストコンクリート (PC) 構造とし, 柱間隔を従来の鉄筋コンクリート (RC) 構造の2倍以上の10mに広げていることである。柱による阻害率が小さいため, 経済的かっ効率的な施設を構築できるようになり, 柱間隔が広く底版がフラットなため, 維持管理が容易で重機による清掃が可能になった。また, プレキャスト部材同士の接合により, 現場作業を省力・短期化でき, かっレベル2地震にも耐えられるピン結合方法を考案し, 実物大実験で検証した。

The disposition and tumor localization of model macromolecules with the same molecular weight but different electric charge were studied in sarcoma 180 bearing mice. Dextran (T-70) with molecular weight of 70, 000, cationic DEAE-dextran (T-70), anionic CM-dextran (T-70), bovine serum albumin(BSA), and cationized BSA (cBSA)were injected intravenously and their tissue distribution was determined by radioactivity counting. The cationic macromolecules were rapidly cleared from plasma and accumulated in the liver, and spleen or excreted into urine, while tumor levels remained low. On the contrary, anionic macromolecules were retained in the plasma for a long time and slowly accumulated to the tumor. The present study revealed that macromolecules having an anionic charge are advantageous for tumor targeting.

本研究における「都市のイメージ」とは,広い意味での地理的イメージとしての「場所イメージ」の一部を意味する.本研究では,まず,この都市のイメージを一定の社会集団に共通するイメージとしてとらえ,わが国の70都市について具体的に都市の象徴要素を抽出することによって,都市のイメージを示した.次に,場所イメージによる感覚的な全体像評価の例として,都市の「風格」という概念を提示し,70都市について「風格」を評価することとした.次に,都市の「風格」を都市のイメージとの関連によって分析し,回答者が理解している都市の「風格」とはどのような概念なのか,を考察した.その結果,都市の「風格」の評価は,都市の歴史的側面に関係する都市の審美的評価系列と,都市の機能的・規模的側面に関係する都市の総合的能力の評価系列という, 2つの異なる評価系列によって都市のイメージを評価した結果を総合したもの,として表わし得ることが明らかとなった.

The experiments about the gas lift pump in lead-bismuth eutectic are performed with risers of three kinds of diameters [φ 69.3 mm (SD case), φ 106.3mm (MD case), φ 155.2mm (LD case)]. The main results are as follows : (1) The coefficient of the drift flux model was derived from the experimental results. (2) The LBE flow rate obtained from the design method based on water/gas system with the relation of the drift flux model corresponds to the experimental results obtained in the MD and the SD cases. It is considered that the evaluation method can be used for the LBE gas lift pump in a small diameter riser. (3) In the LD, the design method excessively evaluates the lead-bismuth circulating flow rate. It thought that the circulation head will not occur in the experimental loop. The following factors are considered to be the causes of this the three-dimensional behavior of bubbles becomes significant, and the local descending flow is generated in the riser when the riser diameter increases.

Mechanisum of the diazomethane degradation for the sugar-aglycone linkage of the gypsogenin 3-O-glycoside(1) was studied and the useful degradative reaction was applied to the structure determination of quillayasaponin. Since three kinds of functional groups of 1, the 4α-CHO group in the aglycone, COOH and 4-OH group in the glucuronic acid were presumed to contribute to the degradative reaction, the necessarity of the each functional group was examined using a model compound 7, and only the 4α-CHO group was showed to be essential. By taking the above evidence and the usual reaction products of aldehyde with diazomethane into account, the reaction must be proceeded through such a oxide intermediate as shown in the scheme 6. QS-III(25), a major acylated genuine bisdesmoside of the so-called quillayasaponin, afforded a 28-O-glycosidal triterpenoid(29) still possessing acyl moiety by this diazometane degradation. On the basis of chemical and spectral evidence, especially, comparison of the ^<13>C NMR spectra of 29 and its desacyl compound(30)(Table 1), the site of linkage of acyl moiety of 29 was determined. The structure of 25, therefore, was complex acylated oligosaccharide as shown in scheme 8.

The paper is aimed to clarify habitants’ life-style in terms of the living activities of exterior common use space in urban villages (chengzhongcun) based on a case study. From the study, we concluded that improving the function of exterior common use space that promotes the communication between local original residents and migrant residents correlated positively with both the trend towards stable settlement and sustainability of mixed social communities in urban villages.
