We report a rare case of a foreign body, a large snail, in the esophagus. A 20-year-old male, a freshman in college, was invited to a party at a music club and was requested by senior students to do a comical performance. He decided to swallow a large snail in its shell. Severe throat pain was immediately noted. He tried to induce vomiting, but was unable to and came to our hospital for emergency case. No foreign body was found in the hypopharynx. Plain X-ray examination showed a circular shadow in the neck, 3 centimeters in diameter. We identified the foreign body in the esophagus in the neck. We tried to remove the object with an endoscope under general anesthesia. The shell was found at the inlet of the esophagus and was spherical and smooth, which made it impossible to grip with forceps. Therefore, we removed the foreign body via external incision of the neck.

This study was conducted to clarify the relationship between features of change in velocity and performance of world class athletes in the men's 400-m hurdle race(400mH).Nine final races of 400mH were videotaped with several video cameras panning from the start to the finish at 60 fields/s.After the time indication had been superimposed on each field of the VTR images, the time at touchdown immediately after hurdling was obtained.Using the flash of the starter's gun recorded on the VTR image, each hurdle touchdown time from the start, and each section thme(from each hurdle to the next)was obtained.The results of regression analysis showed a significantly high correlation (r=0.90, p<0.001)between 400mH performance and mean section velocity from the 5th to the 8th hurdle(H5-8), and a significant correlation(r=-0.61, p<0.05)between 400mH performance and te rate of deceleration in H5-8.These results indicate that in 400mH it is important to avoid decreasing velocity and to maintain a high velocity in H5-8 of the race in order to attain a high performance.

本稿は,高品質なテキスト音声合成を目指し,複合ウェーブレットモデル(composite wavelet model; CMW)と隠れマルコフモデル(hidden Markov model; HMM)の統合モデルに,フォルマント周波数軌跡のモデルを組み込む.ケプストラム特徴量による従来のHMM音声合成方式では,モデル学習時におけるケプストラム特徴量の平均化がスペクトルの周波数方向の平滑化の原因となり,一般にbuzzyな合成音声へ劣化する原因となった.これに対し,フォルマント周波数に相当する特徴量の平均化はスペクトルの平滑化をもたらさないと期待される.このような観点から,我々は,CWMとHMMの統合モデルによる音声合成方式を過去に提案した.一方で,従来のCWMとHMMの統合モデルは,スペクトル系列の区分定常な生成モデルであり,ダイナミクスのモデル化に課題があった.本稿は,CWMがフォルマント周波数に相当するパラメータを持つことに着目し,フォルマント周波数軌跡の生成モデルをCWMとHMMの統合モデルに組み込み,スペクトル系列のダイナミクスをモデル化する.本稿では,実験を通して提案モデルがフォルマント周波数軌跡を十分に推定することを定性的に確認した.

o-, m-, p-ベンゼンジスルホン酸塩 (BDS), ベンゼントリスルホン酸塩 (BTS) のアルカリ融解反応において, アルカリの濃度, 温度の反応速度に与える影響をしらべた結果, いずれの場合もスルホン基のモル濃度を [S], 水酸化アルカリの活量濃度を a<SUB>MOH</SUB> とすると, アルカリ融解反応の速度は次式で表わされた。<BR>-d[S]/dt=k[S]・a<SUP>2</SUP><SUB>MOH</SUB><BR>示差熱分析の測定から BTS〓フェノールジスルホン酸〓レゾルシンスルホン酸〓フロログルシンへの段階的融解反応の温度は I 150℃, II 250℃, III 300℃ であった。ベンゼンスルホン酸塩 (BS) および置換 BS の水酸化カリウム中での融解反応の活性化エネルギーと活性化エントロピーとの間には補償効果があり, またメタ位のスルホン基の1個の増加は活性化エネルギーを約 8kcal 減少することがわかった。アルカリ融解反応における置換基の影響についても検討した。

テュルクの口承叙事詩には、「最初のシャマン」とされるコルクトをはじめ、シャマンがしばしば登場したり、『エル・トシュテュク』に見られるように、英雄叙事詩の主人公にシャマンの姿が投影されていたりする。英雄の愛馬が八本脚であると暗示されることは、世界各地に見られるシャマン的典型の「八脚馬」と見なすことが可能であり、また、叙事詩で馬の毛を焼く場面からは、シャマニズムの呪術で呪的動物を呼び起こす儀式を読み取ることができる。古来のテュルクの伝承では、大地の中心にある、天空までそびえ立つ世界樹が描かれ、そこからはテュルクの聖樹信仰を見ることができる。また、本来シャマンを意味していたバクスという言葉が、のちに叙事詩の語り手を意味するようになったのは、シャマンの言葉が英雄叙事詩へと発展する一方、イスラーム化にともなって、バクスが預言や託宣を行う機会が減少した結果、叙事詩語りとしての役割が重視されたためと考察される。

本研究は,ショップやショールーム,体験型交流施設などが集まる複合型商業施設への来訪者に対して周遊行動を誘導することを目的とする.複合型商業施設ではその施設内にある様々なテナントに足を運ばせることで全体としての利益向上を図っている.しかし,行き慣れた施設内においては,来訪者の行動の定型化が原因となり,来訪者の新しいニーズを生み出しにくい問題がある.子ども連れの来訪者に注目すると,目的としている場所以外に行く時間的な余裕が持ちにくい問題もある.我々は,それら問題を解決するため,スマートフォンを用いた宝さがしゲームを開発した.ユーザは用意された宝を見つけるために施設全体を歩き回る.それによって,ユーザは施設に関して新たな気づきを得る.ユーザは,宝の在処を示すヒントと宝に近づくと得られる通知のヒントを手がかりに,様々な店舗に隠された宝を探す.いくつかの宝にはミニゲームによる楽しみを付与して参加意欲を高める工夫をした.開発したゲームを用いたイベントを 3 月 29 日にグランフロント大阪内ナレッジキャピタルで開催されたワークショップフェスの一環として一般の参加者を対象に開催した.その結果,子どもとその子どもと一緒に参加した大人が施設全体を周遊する行動を促すことができた.

It has often been said that if Ajax is manifesting his decision not to kill himself in his third speech, we have to assume that Ajax is lying But this is not true Ajax can at the same time be sincere throughout the third speech After abandoning suicide at the beginning of the third speech, Ajax comes to understand, first at 666 f and then at 677, what will be the result of his longer life, if he purges his "defilements", escapes the anger of Athena and buries his sword to hide it, he will come actually to obey the gods and honor the Atreidae, learning discipline Now these thoughts of Ajax make him realize the fact that reconciliation with fatal enemies will be inevitable if he continues to live A close examination of 666 f and 677 leads to such an interpretation of the third speech And if we are right in this interpretation, there is no question as to how and why Ajax, behind the stage, decided again to kill himself after the third speech, for the first speech has shown how dominant is the hatred for the Atreidae in the mind of Ajax Though gentle enough to abandon suicide in response to his wife's entreaty, he is so obstinate in his hatred as to refuse reconciliation with his enemies at the cost of his own life Ajax' hatred, shown in the play as an element always leading him to ruin, is continued by his wife and brother after his death And again, at the end of the play, dead Ajax' hatred is mentioned as an important dramatic motif Thus the play is unified by Ajax' hatred However, it is always presented in contrast to other mental elements the sense of honour and humanity It follows that Sophocles gave a dynamism (rather than a pathos) of the mind of Ajax to the traditional monotonous image of hateful Ajax
