High school baseball has given us many dreams and inspirations in our country. However, it also holds many problems, and one is the issue of corporal punishment. The purpose of this research is to make comparisons with religious culture, which enforces corporal punishment and acceptance. An interview was held with 12 high school baseball related-persons with experience. 5 cultural elements were found as a result of the interview. They are the unsociable environment, the absolute pecking order, rational interpretation, the pursuit of victory and compromise and recognizing anew of the corporal punishment and the group mentality. These 5 elements are also functioning as a cultural device. In this composition, I would like to link these elements to a discovery of an educational way to eradicate the use of the cane.

Diese Abhandlung bezweckt zu erklären, wie die widersprüchlichen Prinzipien der Gerechtigkeit für das Schaffen der antiken und mittelalterlichen Tragödie eine leitende Rolle gespielt haben. Die antiken Menschen waren sich des Widerspruchs des „Gerechten“ durchaus bewusst. Im fünften Buch der „Nikomachischen Ethik“ hat Aristoteles deshalb der Gerechtigkeit zwei unterschiedliche Funktionen, das Verteilen und das Austauschen, zugeschrieben. Die verteilende Gerechtigkeit wird nach Maßgabe der Leistung proportional vollzogen, während die austauschende Gleiches mit Gleichem strafrechtlich vergilt. Diese Unterscheidung rechtfertigt einerseits die Herrschaftsverhältnisse des Stadtstaates und gewährleistet andererseits die Interessen des bürgerlichen Wirtschaftslebens. Diese zwei Gestalten der Gerechtigkeit sind jedoch nicht die Entdeckung Aristoteles’. Die Griechen haben schon früher zwei Gerechtigkeitsgöttinnen gekannt: Themis und Dike, die nach Hesiod im Mutter-Tochter-Verhältnis standen. Ihre Aufgaben entsprechen denen der aristotelischen Teilgerechtigkeiten. Themis vertritt ältere Stammesgesetze, verfügt über das kollektive Bewusstsein des Menschen und verhängt soziale Sanktionen. Dike richtet hingegen in strafrechtlichen Angelegenheiten. Der unauflösbare Widerspruch beider Göttinnen ist bei Aischylos’ „Agamemnon“ deutlich zu erkennen. Agamemnon, der von Themis beraten um des Sieges gegen die Trojaner willen seine eigene Tochter hatte opfern lassen, wurde von Clytaemnestra ermordet, weil diese glaubte, die talionische Rache sei von Dike vollkommen anerkannt. 南極域における気候変動に関する総合研究(ACR)期間の最終年である1991年は, 6月にフィリピンのピナツボ火山が, 8月にはチリのハドソン火山の噴火がおき, 大量の噴出物が成層圏にまで到達して気候システムは大きな影響を受けた。昭和基地で行われた観測結果を全球などの観測結果と比較して, この影響がどのようなものであったかを見た。噴煙の直接的な影響を受ける混濁度観測や日射観測では1991年末から影響が見られた。しかし, 気温やオゾン全量など大循環の結果のような間接的な要素では, 影響がはっきりしなかったり(成層圏気温), 影響と思われる偏差が見られたものの発現時期に全球とのズレが考えられるもの(地上気温やオゾン全量)があった。

Since the National Language Research Institute's (NLRI) investigation “Hiragana letters read and written by pre-school children,” in 1967, investigations of pre-school children's reading and writing ability conducted among regions have been nearly non -existent. Accordingly, the authors investigated the actual ability of 1, 202 pre-school children in Tokyo and Aichi Prefecture to read and write Hiragana letters. Results show that children's reading and writing ability has improved since the 1967 NLRI investigation. However, according to the Ministry of Education, only 10% of the kindergartens teach reading and writing. So we conclude that there has been intentional early education in institutions outside nursery schools, kindergartens and the home.

種間交雑や遺伝子浸透という事象は,進化研究においてこれまであまり重視されてこなかった.新しい系統群が生じるのは,祖先集団が二つに分岐する過程が主であり,一旦分化を始めた二集団が再び融合するような現象は例外的に扱われてきたためである.しかし近年の分子生物学的手法の発展,とりわけミトコンドリアDNAに限らず様々な核DNAの遺伝子領域が分析対象となってきたことにより,生物集団間に生じる交雑や遺伝子浸透の重要性が再評価されている.本稿は,鳥類を対象にした最近の研究事例について,集団間に種間交雑や遺伝子浸透が生じた際に,(1)二系統の分化の程度が拡大する場合,(2)二系統が一つに融合する場合,(3)交雑により新たな系統が形成される場合,(4)系統が維持されつつ遺伝子浸透が生じる場合に分けて紹介し,鳥類の進化や保全における種間交雑や遺伝子浸透の重要性を概説する.

要旨:けいれん発作,とくにけいれん重積発作にともない,皮質や皮質下領域にMRI で信号異常を認めることがある.海馬を含む大脳皮質や,皮質下病変として視床,脳梁,また小脳など多岐にわたる部位での信号異常が報告されている.これらのけいれん発作にともなうMRI 異常信号は,異常興奮による脳局所の血流増加や代謝亢進を反映していると考えられる.最近では,臨床の場で脳血管障害や脳腫瘍などの他疾患との鑑別が問題になるケースにも出合うようになった.本稿では,けいれん発作にともなうMRI 異常信号について,臨床的,画像的,生物学的,病理学的観点から概説する.

In recent years, self-loosening detail mechanisms of bolted joints had been revealed using three dimensional FE analysis in which the bolts and the nuts have almost perfect configurations geometrically. However the configurations of actual bolts and nuts have certainly errors. Wear on contact surfaces also occurs in the actual bolted joint. Hence it is not easy to accurately simulate the actual bolted joint by only FEM. In this study, an influence of lubricants on self-loosening characteristics have been investigated in order to understand actual phenomena in self-loosening process. The self-loosening tests for a hexagon head cap screw M10 due to transverse vibration were performed under lubricated conditions by Machine oil ISO VG46, Molybdenum disulfide grease and Polyisobuthylene which is used as a special lubricant for bolt tightening. A bearing surface configuration of the bolt was controlled in this study. The results showed that the bolted joints lubricated by Polyisobuthylene had a higher resistance for self-loosening than the bolted joints lubricated by Molybdenum disulfide grease and Machine oil ISO VG46. The number of cycle until loosening depended on bearing surface configurations.
