複素関数論において微分可能性を保証する必要十分な条件がコーシー・リーマンの関係式である.また, 複素関数は実2次元平面から実2次元平面への変換である.このノートの前半では,複素関数の微分可能 条件はこの変換のヤコビ行列の固有値・固有ベクトルが満たす条件と等価であることを示す.そして,コー シー・リーマンの関係式はヤコビ行列を対角化した時の非対角成分と同等であることを示す.複素数は虚数 単位i = √−1 を使って表現されるが,この代わりに違う複素数を使う事も可能である.後半では,異なる 複素数の表現を使った場合に,その微分可能条件からコーシー・リーマンの関係式に類似した式が導けるこ とを示す.また,この関係式もヤコビ行列の固有値・固有ベクトルが満たす条件と等価であることを示す.

The archaeological sites of the cult of the jaguar God are found in the tropical jungles of Central America, mainly along the Atlantic coasts of Mexico and Costa Rica.Of all the sites, La Venta in Mexico is known as one of the most important ceremonial centers ; and next comes Las Mercedes in Costa Rica.In this cult, the object of worship enshrined is the figure of a jaguar or that of Warrawana, called “Warru-tiger” by the English speaking Carib tribes.In my view, the inhabitants of the jungles came to enshrine a jaguar because they wished to suppress the evil spirit of jaguar, who attacked the people and gave much damage to them. That was not because the farmers prayed to the jaguar god to decrease an extraordinarily rapid growth of vegetal life in the forests such as trees and weeds. The jaguar masks, with some 500 tons' clay over it, were excavated, giving an account of these circumstances.At the latter Formative period, the priests devised the formalities of cult, by the request of the farmers who had been cultivating in the jungles ; and thus the cult of this kind at its beginning had the closest connection with the farmers' life in jungle.La Venta, which is famous for its oldest relics (B. C. 800-400), was the cradle-land of the cult of the jaguar god, with its influence extending to the surrounding districts.Later, when the Olmec people, who inhabited in La Venta district, were obliged to leave their native land by the invasion of a highland people, some of them seemed to move to Las Mercedes, and they made this place the second largest center of the cult of the jaguar god by giving a stimulus and a modification to its aboriginal culture.

フランス宮廷では、18世紀になると、宮廷晩餐会用の女性の衣裳は、華やかさを増し、花紋様の重厚なブロケードに刺繍の装飾を重ね、さらにレースをあしらった豪華で装飾的な衣裳が好まれていた。一方、私的なサロンによる交流が広がるにつれ、公の衣裳の重厚さに対して、私的な衣装の美意識は、軽やかさが求められ、その美意識は、宮廷の衣裳にも反映していった。往時は、中国風庭園、家具、陶器、織物、衣裳など、アジア風のデザインが流行し、様々な事象にシノワズリーの影響がみられ、インド製の木版捺染や手描き更紗とともに、アジアから舶載された絣織の「シネ」は珍重され、フランスのみならず、欧州各国に染織技法とともにその紋様表現は、伝播していく。18世紀になると絣は、需要の拡大とともに発展し、宮廷女性衣裳の生地としてフランスで盛んに織られるようになった。 本論文では、神戸ファッション美術館の所蔵品のローブ・ア・ラ・フランセーズに用いられた絣織「シネ・ア・ラ・ブランシュ」の織物を復元することを目的に、往時のシネの製作技法について、アジアの絣の技法の調査を踏まえ比較検討を行う。

クモの糸は密度あたりの強度が鋼を上回りながらナイロンに匹敵する伸縮性を併せ持ち,天然繊維の中で最も優れたタフネスを示す再生可能素材である.我々はクモ糸のマルチオミクス解析によって,その高機能発現に欠かせない因子SpiCEを発見し,これを微量添加することで人工クモ糸の強度を2倍にすることに成功した.

〔目的〕スランプテストによる非特異的腰痛患者の坐骨神経滑走性低下の鑑別の可否を明らかにすることを目的とした.〔対象と方法〕非特異的腰痛患者をスランプテストで陰性群24名と陽性群14名に分類し,健常群20名を加えた3群間で坐骨神経滑走距離を比較した.〔結果〕坐骨神経滑走距離には,陽性群は健常群と比較して有意に低下したが,陰性群と陽性群との間に有意差は認めなかった.〔結語〕非特異的腰痛患者でスランプテスト陽性の場合,坐骨神経滑走性低下が生じている可能性が示唆された.

The present study aimed to examine the effects of basic psychological need support behavior from teachers on learning behavior with an emphasis on regulatory focus. Junior High School Students (N=341) completed the questionnaire. Hierarchical multiple regression analysis indicated that autonomy support behavior from teachers predicted behavior engagement and persistence in learning of the promotion focus. The results suggest that autonomy support behavior from teachers plays an important role in supporting learning behaviors for junior high school students with high promotion focus.

The aim of this short article is to explore new trends of studying learning practices in reality, in order to ultimately raise their quality. By having accumulated huge amount of “learning” studies, we now have a rich data-base of “rules of thumb” to promote education. In order to raise the adaptive generalize-ability of such rules, we explore the use of remotely operable robots, by having them play the role of a learning partner as a good listener in constructive interaction that occurs in collaborative classrooms. This allows us, for the first time in our study, to quasi-control different groups of collaboration byintroducing “same” activities only playable by such robots. Their roles as listener also actualize an important function to collect more detailed and desired process data from learner-centered classrooms, which has been practically almostimpossible to collect. To approach these aims, our joint project named “Human-Robot Symbiosis” has been exploring new challenges on robotics engineering,cognitive science of human-robot relation setting, and on understanding and implementing basic mechanisms of collaborative learning. The article demonstrates three new types of study in the third topic. One is on using a series of class-room like Lego-block building class run by a robot to promote spontaneous collaboration among children. Another is on confirming perspective expansion effects to promote spontaneous dialoguing to appreciate art works, by having a robot participate in the dialogue to provide a “new” perspective into it by the highly experienced operators. The other is on identifying effective roles of learning partnersin collaborative classes carefully designed to promote constructive interaction for integration of knowledge. All show the importance of giving learning agency to learners in different situations. It concludes with directions for futurestudy.

The mechanical strength of ices, especially for the glacier has been studied since 19th century. However, there are few industrial applications such as mechanical processing tools without ice-blast. Because the specific data of mechanical properties for ice are unknown. Therefore, we produced four types of ices which had different clearness using aeration system, and measured the hardness of ices from 77 K to 268 K. Furthermore, the indentation displacements were also measured during the hardness test, so that the Elastic Recovery Ratios of ices were investigated in this study.

There are many types of discontinuous levee on alluvial plain rivers. However, a lot of discontinuous levees are scheduled to be closed by flood control plans.In recent years, there is a change in flood control plan by the land price falling and the change in social sense of values for nature. The possibility that discontinuous levees remain has come out by the change in flood control plans. In the meantime, the definition of discontinuous levee is vague. For instance, tow types of discontinuous levee that the functions are different have the same name. The difference of recognition to the function of discontinuous levee has a possibility of disturbing right evaluation for discontinuous levees.In this paper, discontinuous levees are classified by comparing geographical features, levee-shape transition, the functions and historical background of the levees.

Clinically mild encephalitis/encephalopathy with a reversible splenial lesion (MERS) is diagnosed using imaging and is characterized by a favorable prognosis, which often improves without treatment. Here, we report three adult patients with MERS who were treated with a different course each; all of them required immunotherapy to some extent. The first case was a 67-year-old male who experienced gastrointestinal symptoms for 3 months prior to hospitalization. The second was a 38-year-old male who experienced a headache and fever, followed by urinary retention. The third was a 36-year-old male who experienced a fever and headache, followed by dysuria, impaired orientation, and upper limb tremor; he was transported to our hospital on the same day. All patients had lesions in the splenium of the corpus callosum. While two patients responded well to steroid pulse therapy, one demonstrated poor response and required immunoadsorption therapy. While some patients with adult-onset MERS require aggressive immunotherapy, this condition covers a broader range of diseases in adults with varying premonitory and clinical symptoms. Although pediatric MERS is often accompanied with a benign condition, this is not always the case for adults. Thus, considering immunotheraphy may be essential.
