本論文は文学批評理論における比較的新しい手法である「進化論批評」について考察している。パラシュやキャロルといった批評家は新しい心理学の流れである進化心理学の観点から文学作品を読むことを提唱している。彼らは、科学者や宗教家と比べてより自由な立場にいる作家こそが最もよく人間の真の姿を理解しており、文学作品には普遍的な人間性が描かれていると言う。そこに描かれているものは生物学的な理屈に適っているのである。しかし進化論批評にも問題点がある。 時々、生物学的事実に反するようなことが作品に描かれていることがあるのだ。作品内容のみに注意を向けるだけではこの問題を解決できない。より正しい解釈を行うためには、作品のみに目を向けるのではなく、作者や、作者とその周辺の環境との相互作用を考慮に入れることが必要になってくるのである。

The effects of, concentration of nitric acid and temperature were examined on hard rolled aluminium (Purity=99.70%) by dip method corrosion test. The corrosion test was carried out in 5_??_98% HNO3 at 30_??_70° by measuring the weight loss for 10 hours, and the corrosion rate was expressed as g/m2hr. The results obtained were as follows. (1) In 98% HNO3; the resistivity is excellent up to 70° (2) In 94% HNO3; the resistivity is excellent at 30°, and even at 50_??_70° the resistivity is good. (3) in 92% HNO3; the resistivity is good at 30°. (4) In bellow 90% HNO3; the resistivity is rot good even at 30° and is minimum in. 30% HNO3. II. The effect of purity of aluminium was examined on virgin ingot (Purity=99.980, 99.74, 99.60, 99.38, 99.18 and 98.40%) by dip method corrosion test. The corrosion test was carried out in 30%, 90% HNO3 at 30° by measuring the weight loss for 10 hours, and the corrosion rate was expressed as g/m2hr. The results. obtained were as follows. (1) In cone. HNO3 the effect of purity of aluminium is very small. (2) In dil HNO3, the effect is small as far as purity of aluminium is above 9938%.

わが国においてスターチ腹膜炎についての認識は低く,パウダーフリーの手術用手袋の普及も進んでいない.今回,虫垂切除後にスターチ腹膜炎を発症し,その後の経過を長期に観察しえた1例を経験したので報告する.症例は16歳女性で,1994年,虫垂炎に対し虫垂切除を行った.術後9日目から小腸通過障害をおこし,12日目に腹腔鏡下癒着剥離術を行った.黄色混濁腹水と腹膜小結節を認めた.腹水の培養は陰性であった.術後発熱と高い炎症反応が続いた.CTで腹水の貯留と腸間膜の肥厚を認めた.手袋のパウダーでの皮内反応が陽性であった.スターチ腹膜炎と判断しステロイド投与を行ったところ炎症反応は低下し,腹水も消失した.その後も小腸通過障害,複数回の腹痛があったがいずれも保存的に軽快した.スターチ腹膜炎が長期にわたり患者のQOLを悪化させた可能性があった.今後パウダーフリーの手術用手袋を普及させる必要があると思われた.

"Der Begriff eines deutschen Reiches hat sich wohl am fruhesten in Italien ausgebildet ; im Beginne des 11. Jahrhunderts begegnet er zuerst. Mehr als in Italien ist in Deutschland der Ausdruck ublich, und noch in der Zeit Heinrichs IV....ist er in allen deutschen Gebieten heimisch geworden, wie ja gerade der Reichsgedanke, das Bewuβtsein der politischen Zusammenfassung, der staatlichen Einigung der deutschen Stamme vor allem lebendig war"(Vigener). Gegenuber diesem ublichen Erklarungsversuch, der das Aufkommen des Begriffes regnum Teutonicum unter der Regierung Heinrichs IV.(1056-1106) in Zusammenhang mit der allmahlichen Ausbreitung des deutschen Volksbewuβtseins bzw. Nationalgefuhls bringt, hat E.Muller-Mertens im zweiten Teil seines Buches "Regnum Teutonicum. Aufkommen und Verbreitung der deutschen Reichs - und Konigsaufassung im fruheren Mittelalter"(1970) ein ganz anderes Bild dargestellt : Derjenige, der fur die Verbreitung der Terminologie in Deutschland eine ganz entscheidende Rolle spielte, sei niemand anders als Papst Gregor VII.(1073-1085) gewesen. Er habe den Begriff bewuβt als politischen "Kampfbegriff" benutzt, um den imperial-hegemonialen Herrschaftsanspruch des ottonisch-salischen Konigtums prinzipiell in Frage zu stellen, d.h. mit der Absicht, die Herrschaft des salischen Konigs, des rex Teutonicorum-nicht rex Romanorum, wie der Konig sich selbst nannte-, auf das Reich nordlich der Alpen, das regnum Teutonicum, zu beschranken. Im ersten Teil dieses Aufsatzes wurde es versucht, die uberrraschenden und anregenden Thesen von Muller-Mertens in wichtigen Punkten zu referieren, daneben aber auch seine Ergebinisse, unter Heranziehung der anderen neueren Literatur, z.T. zu revidieren, vor allem fur die Bewertung der politischen Dimensionen des Begriffs "deutsch" bei Lamperts von Hersfeld (†1081/82).

Bovine respiratory disease complex (BRDC) is frequently found in cattle worldwide. The etiology of BRDC is complicated by infections with multiple pathogens, making identification of the causal pathogen difficult. Here, we developed a detection system by applying TaqMan real-time PCR (Dembo respiratory-PCR) to screen a broad range of microbes associated with BRDC in a single run. We selected 16 bovine respiratory pathogens (bovine viral diarrhea virus, bovine coronavirus, bovine parainfluenza virus 3, bovine respiratory syncytial virus, influenza D virus, bovine rhinitis A virus, bovine rhinitis B virus, bovine herpesvirus 1, bovine adenovirus 3, bovine adenovirus 7, Mannheimia haemolytica, Pasteurella multocida, Histophilus somni, Trueperella pyogenes, Mycoplasma bovis and Ureaplasma diversum) as detection targets and designed novel specific primer-probe sets for nine of them. The assay performance was assessed using standard curves from synthesized DNA. In addition, the sensitivity of the assay was evaluated by spiking solutions extracted from nasal swabs that were negative by Dembo respiratory-PCR for nucleic acids of pathogens or synthesized DNA. All primer-probe sets showed high sensitivity. In this study, a total of 40 nasal swab samples from cattle on six farms were tested by Dembo respiratory-PCR. Dembo respiratory-PCR can be applied as a screening system with wide detection targets.

大規模なダム等では, 通常ポンプ浚渫船による水中掘削によって堆砂除去を行う。しかし, 貯水池の立地条件から, 大型の船の導入は困難な場合が多く, このため掘削深度の制約, 大量掘削ができない等の未解決の問題がある。ここでは, 落水干陸が適当でなかった, 千葉県坂田池 (水資源公団) の施工例に, 琵琶湖浚渫 (高濃度スラリー), 台湾石門ダム (大深度) の例を加えて説明した。

近年,感性に基づいて小説を検索できるシステムが開発され実用化されてきている。著者らも児童書を対象としてオンライン書評から感性を示すパラメータに値を設定し,検索できるシステムを構築してきた。しかし,人間が付与するパラメータの値と書評中の語との関係の分析は十分に行われておらず,書評中の語を元として感性パラメータの値をどのように設定することが適切であるかは明らかとなっていない。本研究は,書評中の「人の感情や本の雰囲気を表す語」を元に機械学習の手法を用いて人間の判断と一致する感性パラメータの値を付与する実験を行ったものである。図書1605冊分の書評を使って自動設定実験を行った結果, (1)自動設定において書評中の語を使うことに有用性がある, (2)書評中のすべての語を用いるよりも,出現回数が多い30語程度を用いた方が効果的である, (3)書評中から抽出する語の品詞はほとんど再現率に影響しないことなどを明らかにすることができた。

Esping-Andersen's influential analysis for de-commodification is one of powerful conceptualization of need fulfillment under modern capitalism. Feminists' critique against his analysis and his effort to reply to these criticisms has contributed to the academic enquiry for "the welfare state and family". In his response, Esping-Andersen introduced concept of de-familialization. I discuss both consepts (de-commodification and de-familialization) have two analytically distinct contents; say, Polanyian de-commodification (policies for maintenance of commodification), and Esping-Andersenian de-commodification(policies beyond such a institutional rationality); De-familialization for maintenance of family, and De-familialization beyond such a institutional rationality. I argue both latter contents are crucial if we consider both concept as "emancipatory potential", as Esping-Andersen wrote. I also argue his conceptualizing de-familialization is problematic because it means eventually commodification. We could recognize really existing both latter contents and de-familialization beyond his conceptualization, in terms of "moral economy".

本稿では、「政治」という言葉、概念の自分なりの定義を試みる。ここでの「政治」という言葉は、現代英語の"politics"という言葉の対応語、翻訳語と考えていただいて構わない。現代の日本語における通常の使われ方から極端に外れることなく、しかもある程度明晰で厳密な思考を可能とするような定義づけをここでは試みていく。 そこでは当然、我々の日常的な言葉づかい、更にはジャーナリズムでの政治談議を意識しつつも、もう少し厳密な言葉づかいを行っている領域を参考にする。その場合当然ながらアカデミックな政治科学や公法学の用語法は念頭に置かれるだろう。しかし更にとりわけ本稿で重要な手掛かりとして用いられるのは、ハンナ・アレントとミシェル・フーコーの言葉づかいである。

邱永漢は台湾の日本語文学研究において、<台湾人>として最初の直木賞受賞者として注目されているが、その研究は十分進んでいるとは言えなかった。今回、邱永漢の代表作の一つ「濁水渓」に、これまで気付かれていなかった「第三部」が存在することがわかった。この「濁水渓」第三部は、第二部で香港亡命を決意した主人公「私」が香港に渡って台湾独立運動に関わる姿を描いていたが、第三十二回直木賞候補に「濁水渓」が選ばれた時には、単行本から削除されており、読まれなかった。本稿では削除の理由として、当時の国際状況を考慮した出版社・作家の自主規制の可能性を指摘した。そして、邱永漢はこの第三部をより<大衆文学>的に置き換え、政治性を希薄化させたものとして「香港」を執筆することで、直木賞受賞を果たしたと推測した。直木賞に象徴される日本の文壇と読者が邱永漢という作家を見出したことは評価できるが、彼が描いた東アジアの問題点からは目をそらしていた。この文学賞の意義と限界を指摘し、邱永漢のテクストの再検討に取り組むことの重要性を訴えた。

The mobile robots which can walk around and perform several tasks over 3D terrain, a generalized terrain including the surface of wall and ceiling of large constructions are highly demanded. We discuss the control of the leg motion of quadruped-wall-climbing-robot specifically designed for 3D terrain from the view point of two design and control concepts which we have already proposed, the GDA, or gravitationally decoupled actuation, and Coupled Drive. The GDA was introduced to eliminate negative power consumption and improve energy efficiency in ground walking, and the Coupled Drive was introduced to evenly distribute power generation among installed actuators, decrease the weight of the actuation mechanism, and enable powerful walking in wall climbing motion. In this article we propose a new control method to adaptively select walking postures in both ground walk and wall climbing and optimize the walking performances in terms of the concepts of GDA and Coupled Drive. We made simulation experiments considering actual actuation characteristics, standing motion constraint and other boundary conditions and shows that the introduced control improve walking performance in 3D terrain well.

レファレンス協同データベース事業は,全国の図書館で行われているレファレンスサービスの記録や,そこで蓄積された調べ方に関する情報などをデータベース化し,図書館におけるレファレンス業務や,一般の人々の情報検索に役立てることを目的とする協同事業である。本稿ではまず,この事業の概要と現況を解説する。その上で,事業を通じて見て取れる参加館のレファレンスサービスの変化を,具体的に紹介する。最後に,今後のデジタルレファレンスサービスの課題について私見を述べる。
