Fear of Negative Evaluation Scale日本語短縮版(SFNE)はFNEを測定する1因子構造の尺度である。しかし近年の研究においてSFNEが順向項目因子と逆転項目因子の2因子から構成される尺度である可能性が報告された。本研究ではWeb調査を通して参加した一般成人500名と大学生・専門学校生82名を対象に,SFNEの因子構造,信頼性および妥当性を検討した。探索的因子分析の結果,8項目からなる順向項目因子と4項目からなる逆転項目因子の2因子が抽出された。各因子の内的整合性と再検査信頼性は十分に高かった。逆転項目因子と比較して,順向項目因子の方が高い妥当性を有していた。本結果は逆転項目因子に比べ順向項目因子の方がFNEを正確に測定していることを示しており,FNEの測定においてはSFNEの順向項目因子を使用することが推奨される。本結果の意義と本研究の課題について検討した。

This paper investigates how Japanese college students perceive "school" based on which TV dramas depicting "school life," among hundreds based on this theme, they choose to watch and which parts of these TV dramas they value or criticize. In order to find the aspects they like most and sympathize highly in such programs, I adopted a 10-score scale which evaluates businessmen's basic 12 skills such as the skill to suppress psychological stresses, the one to commit in a project, and the one to organize possible plans in advance. This scale was originally proposed by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 2006 and is now widely used for judging various skills, other than academic study skills, of college students or businessmen. Japanese TV "school life" dramas tend to avoid scenes of studying in classrooms because they are boring to viewers, so that the businessmen's scale is ideal for the students to evaluate their favorite TV dramas. The 16 college students I surveyed cited 15 different TV dramas such as Gokusen(Lady Yakuza Teacher), GTO(Great Teacher Mr. Onizuka), My Boss and My Hero(Big Brother, or my Classmate),Joo no Kyoshitsu(Tyrant Queen Controlling Classroom), Dragon Sakura(Cherry Tree in Dragon HighSchool) or Kinpachi Sensei(Kinpachi, our Teacher). As for the evaluation of their favorite dramas, I found, through the analysis of the gathered data, the tendency for the college students to value mosthighly dramas and characters in the fields they feel their skills are weak, and not to value in the fields they feel their skills are strong. 日本が近代化を進める時期に西洋から多くの芸術作品が流入し、現在に至るまでそれらは日本で様々な芸術に携わる人々の想像力を刺激してきた。その結果、現代の日本において作成される各種芸術作品には、西洋を起源とする題材の活用が多くみられる。そうした作品で用いられる題材やモチーフは多くの場合、日本に受け入れられてからある程度の変容が生じている。本研究では、主に文学作品における幻想性・怪奇性に焦点をあて、そのような題材・モチーフがいかに受容され、日本で変容し、かつ世界に向けて再発信されるかの過程を追った。研究成果は、海外出版社からの英語による論文集に収録されて刊行されるなど、様々な媒体で世に問うた。

科学技術振興機構バイオサイエンスデータベースセンター(NBDC)が,倫理的配慮や安全な取り扱いを必要とするヒトに関するデータを取り扱う「NBDCヒトデータベース」の正式な運用を2013年10月に開始して1年が経過した。本稿では,このデータベースについてあらためて概説し,現況も報告する。併せて1年間の運用に際して生じた実際上の問題から主要なものについて対応方針を紹介し,今後の運用に向けた課題とその対策などについて考察したい。

本論文では,現代英語の冠詞について,樋口(2003)等の実証的研究では不十分にしか扱われていない論点に着目し,COCAコーパス等を用いて,特に地理上の固有名詞を分析する。これまで現代英語の冠詞については,認知言語学等の一般言語理論に基づく冠詞の用例の統一的な説明を目標とする研究や,BNCコーパスを利用した研究はあるが,COCAコーパス・COHAコーパス等によるものは見当たらない。本論文では,樋口(2003)の実証的分析を発展させるとともに,従来の研究の問題点を指摘し,かつ先行研究では扱われていないいくつかの項目について実証的かつ記述的に分析を行った。その結果,公式の国名と実際の言語運用の間に一致が見られないケースがあること,アメリカ英語で国名について,the Vatican City>Vatican Cityへの変化がみられること,the Congo, the Gambia, the Ukraine, the Sudan等の例外的な国名のtheの用例は依然として見られること,固有名詞the Nile Deltaに関しては高い頻度で定冠詞が用いられていること等が明らかとなった。

古文書や科学実験機器など所謂”博物資料”に関しては,将来に向けた保存・継承 とともに広く社会における活用や普及が求められている.発表者らは,これまで 明治・大正期の科学実験機器資料や教育掛図資料に関する博物資料情報をリポジトリ公開し,それらに対してデジタルオブジェクト識別子(DOI: Digital Object Identifier)を付与する試みを実施してきた.本発表では,その概要を紹介するとともに,社会における活用など今後の展望について述べる.

The purpose of this study was to clarify the part difference of change of body fat in Japanese young women. Subjects were 142 healthy female university students who were living in a dormitory. In particular, 21 subjects who showed the remarkable increased percentage of total body fat were grouped as the increase group. 24 subjects who showed the remarkable decreased percentage of total body fat were grouped as the decrease group. Body weight, total and regional body fat and muscle volume were measured by bioelectrical impedance analysis method. Each item was measured for two times in June and December.The difference of change in the percentage of body fat of a trunk showed the highest value in parts of the body. The difference of change in the percentage of body fat of an arm was higher than that of a leg.From these results, the part difference existed to a change of the body fat. It was suggested that the part in which body fat tends to increase is the part in which it tends to decreases.

A six-year-old person reared as a girl came to us with enlargement of the clitoris. Various examinations revealed true hermaphroditism with karyotype of 46XX, positive sex chromation, ovotestis on the right side and ovary on the left. The ovotestis was surgically removed and the clitoris was amputated.
