本稿は,保育士のバーンアウト状況をもたらす原因を職場でのストレス要因から明らかにし,具体的な職場環境の改善を提案することを目的とする。結果,次の3つのことがわかった。⑴休憩時間の取得時間が短い保育士ほど疲れている。勤務中の休憩時間は少なくとも30分の取得が必要である。⑵自宅への持ち帰り仕事については,週4日まではストレスを溜め込みながらもバーンアウトへの影響を認められず,週5日になるとバーンアウトに直接的影響がある。⑶持ち帰る仕事の内容が,本来職場で完遂する内容の場合はストレスと感じているが,保育士自身のスキルアップにつながる自主研究であればストレスと感じず,やりがいや満足感を感じていることがわかった。

To assess loss of the minerals; Na, K, P, Ca, Mg, Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu during cooking, their contents in food were determined before and after cooking. The results obtained were as follows. 1) The mineral contents in cooked food were on average about 75% of those in raw or uncooked food. 2) Among various cooking methods, loss of minerals was largest for squeezing after boiling and for soaking in water after thin slicing, followed by parching, frying and stewing. 3) Cooking losses were almost the same for both large-scale and home cooking. 4) Measures for preventing cooking loss are (1) eating with soup after boiling, (2) addition of a small amount of salt (about 1% NaCl) when boiling, (3) avoidance of excessive boiling, and (4) selection of a cooking method causing less mineral loss (stewing, frying or parching).

平成9年12月から3月まで,都内のS病院産婦人科の初診患者292人に性に関するアンケート調査を行った.対象と方法は第1報と同じである.性生活の頻度は週1回以上36%,月1〜2回40%で,55歳以上では無しが35%で,1回の性交時間は20〜30分か約7割で,年代と共に短縮する傾向がみられた.「性交時間が長くて疲れる」は43%で,35歳〜44歳は有意に低く,「短くて不満」は45歳〜54歳が有意に低かった.「性的欲求に対して夫が応えてくれない」約3割,「夫との不一致感」「夫が満足しないのではないか」は約4割であった.また夫の性的欲求に対しては「煩わしいと感じる」「拒んだことがある」は共に5割で,45歳〜54歳が有意に高かった.

近年急速に導入が進んでいる大規模風力発電所(ウィンドファーム)の立地に際して,しばしば環境論争が発生している.文献調査とヒアリング調査により,全国的な論争の推移とそのパターンを分析し,その中からプロセスと結果において対照的であった2つのケースを対象とした詳細な比較分析を行った結果,以下が明らかとなった.制度に基づく公式プロセスにおける課題設定は,制度そのものの性格,非公式プロセスで得た情報,当該課題の公共性・公益性の定義に影響されている.論争の主な要因は,環境影響評価法の対象外となっていること,地域の野鳥・野生生物の生態系に係わる情報や認識の不足である.今後の社会意思決定プロセスとしては,戦略的環境アセスメントによる中央と地方の相互補完的な多層レベルの制度化や,総論と各論というように段階的に論点を配分する参加型手法の適用などが考えられる.

●O'Donoghue's Triad (オゥドナヒューズ・トラィアッド) これは外科医や整形外科医には“unhappy triad”や“terrible triad”として知られているが,“O'Donoghue'sTriad”が正式なものである.“triad”は英語で三徴候を意味する.日本でいう“trias”はギリシャ語とラテン語に由来している. ラテン語の“trias”の属格は“triadis”であり,ギリシャ語のそれは“triados”である.これは“三つ組”を意味し,英語ではこの属格から派生した言葉“triad”を使う.さて“unhappy triad”とは,米国ではアメフトにおいて横からタックルしたときによく起こる外傷のことある.膝の外側からの力(valgus stress)と膝の内旋(external rotation)の力で起こり,このとき三つの障害が起こる.すなわち,内側側副靱帯(medial col―lateral ligament)と前十字靱帯(anterior cruciate lig―ament)の両靱帯の破裂,そして内側半月板の損傷の“三つ組”である.

中枢気道の狭窄性病変・出血性病変29例, および肺末梢病変3例に対し, 気管支ファイバースコープ下エタノール注入療法(Bronchofiberscopic Ethanol Injection=BEI)を施行し, 以下の結果を得た。(1)出血に対する止血作用は強力で, 100%有効であった。(2)気道内腔にポリープ状に突出する腫瘍に対しての気道開大効果も大きかった。(3)速効性の点ではNd : YAGレーザー照射に劣ると思われた。(4)壁外腫瘍の圧排による気道狭窄例では気道開大効果はほとんど得られなかった。(5)合併症は注入部位から漏出したエタノールにより惹起された咳嗽以外認められなかった。(6)末梢病変に対する腫瘍縮小効果は, 1例のみ認められたが, エタノール注入の方法・量など検討すべき点は多いと考えられた。(7)BEIは高価な機器を必要とせず操作も容易であり, 適応を選べば, 中枢気道の狭窄性病変・出血性病変に対する極めて有効な内視鏡下治療の一手段であると考える。

本研究では、情動・覚醒質問紙と唾液中コルチゾール、心拍数を用いて、デジタルゲームの異な る要素が感情経験と生理反応に与える影響についての検討を行う。大学生30名を対象として実験が行わ れ、唾液の採取と質問紙による主観的反応の測定がゲームプレイ前後に 2 回ずつ行われた。実験参加者 は、対戦格闘ゲームの操作技術を学習するゲームモード、またはコンピュータと対戦するゲームモード、 ゆっくりと村での生活を楽しむゲームのいずれかをプレイした(各ゲーム内容をプレイした群を、それ ぞれスキル学習群、対戦群、統制群とした)。その結果、コルチゾール分泌量と心拍数においてはゲー ム内容の違いによる差は見られなかったが、主観的反応において差が見られた。反応速度を要求するゲー ムの要素は、緊張感と活力感を生起させることが示された。

We propose the guideline to identify fault in offshore region mainly based on MCS profiles, combining high resolution bathymetric maps and geological data such as bore hole results. Based on the guideline we distinguished total 776 faults developing around Japan since the latest Miocene and 753 faults out of total numbers of faults are interpreted to have been active by Quaternary. Together with distinguishment of fault we examined the attributes of each faults such as surface and vertical distribution, criteria of offset, age of movement, certainty of a fault and so on. <br>The results of the distinguishment and examination of the fault leads to the conclusion that the ongoing tectonic framework around Japan characterized by 1) oblique Subduction along the Nankai Trough, 2) rifting at the Okinawa Trough, 3) E-W compressionl regeme along the Japan Sea margin, 4) E-W compressionl regeme along southwestern margin of the Okhotsk Sea and off southern Hokkaido, 5) E-W compressionl regeme along the Japan Trench, 6) rifting in the central arc of the Izu-Ogasawara Arc has been established since 3 Ma, at the earliest 6 Ma. <br>We utilized high resolution data set which we enable to access. Tow big problems, however, still remain in terms of reliability of fault recognition. Those are 1) age of fault movement and 2) spatial distribution of fault. To solve the first one, new technique is required in order to obtain core samples which provide critical evidence to determine age of fault movement. As is second problem concerned, new intensive seismic survey is indispensable to make a precise fault distribution map, especially in the boundary area between land and sea.

The effects of geniposide isolated from Gardeniae Fructus ("San-shi-shi"in Japanese) on metabolic alterations in high sugar diet-fed rats were investigated. It was found that the oral administration of the high sugar diet caused hyperlipemia, liver injury with elevation of glutamic pyruvic transaminase (GPT) in the serum, and the accumulation of lipid peroxide in the liver. Geniposide reduced the serum triglyceride, lipid peroxide, phospholipid, glucose, insulin and GPT in the high sugar diet-fed rats. It was found that the administration of geniposide reduced the sucrase activity in the small intestine and the deposition of lipid peroxide in the liver.

The effects of various tannins and related compounds on the actions of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH) and insulin in fat cells isolated from rats were investigated. Hydrolyzable tannins such as geraniin, mallotusinic acid, chebulinic acid and chebulagic acid enhanced the ACTH-induced lipolysis at the concentration of 20 μg/ml or 5 μg/ml. On the other hand, these hydrolyzable tannins had no effect on the insulin-stimulated lipogenesis from glucose. Condensed tannins such as Ss-tannin 1 and RSF-tannin H showed weak inhibitory effects on the ACTH-induced lipolysis, while they enhanced the insulin-stimulated lipogenesis from glucose. Based on these results, the relationship between the structures and physiological actions of these tannins is discussed.

The effects of oral administration of flavonoid components of Scutellariae Radix on serum and liver lipid levels of rats treated with ethanol were investigated. It was found that wogonin reduced serum triglyceride level, and that baicalein and baicalin, the major components of the drug, decreased total cholesterol, free cholesterol and triglyceride contents in the liver. Baicalein increased high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-ch) in the serum of the ethanol-treated rats. In addition to these in vivo experiments, the actions of wogonin, baicalein and baicalin on catecholamine-induced lipolysis in isolated fat cells were investigated. It was found that the three flavones inhibited noradrenaline-induced lipolysis in isolated fat cells. The relationship between these in vivo and in vitro experiments is discussed.
