To evaluate the effectiveness, safety and utility of Emedastine difumarate (ED) in the treatment of Japanese cedar pollinosis, a multicentered, double-blind comparative study was performed in 290 patients in 1994.<br>Patients with Japanese cedar pollinosis were divided into two groups; the first group was treated with ED at a dose of 4mg/day starting two weeks before the season and continuing for the whole season. The second group was given an inactive placebo instead of ED during the pre-season and the early portion of the season and then replaced with ED during the later portion of the season.<br>As a result, the final improvement rate was significantly higher in the first group than that in the second group.<br>All subjective symptoms such as sneezing, nasal discharge, nasal obstruction and eye itching were suppressed due to ED treatment.<br>In conclusion, it was better to continuously administer ED to patients with pollinosis from the preseasonal period till the end of the season.<br>However, when the ED treatment was started in the midseason, the outcome was good, although less satisfactory than the outcome of continuous treatment given throughout the entire pollen season.

本研究では次の様な成果を獲得した。(1)東アジアの都城が、西アジアの都市と、機能や構造において多くの共通点を有していることを明らかにした。(2)新たに3DVR表示システムを開発し、3つのモデルを作成した。(3)鈴鹿関のモデルを分析して日本古代三関が交通の検問と軍事の両機能を兼ね備えた施設であることを解明した。(4)復原モデルを用いたデジタル野外ミュージアムの展開を開いた。

マイクロ流体工学技術を駆使することで,複数種の細胞の位置を正確に制御しつつ,異方的なハイドロゲル材料に導入する技術開発を目指した。主に肝組織をターゲットとし,個別の単位材料を複合化することで,潅流培養可能な機能的組織を作製した。また同時に,細胞選抜技術,細胞外基質の加工技術などの周辺技術の開発を行い,3次元生体組織構築における基盤技術の確立を目指して研究開発を行った。

国内の大学を対象にeポートフォリオの利用状況を調査した。また、学内のシステムの利用状況を調査すると、授業に深く関連づけたキャリアポートフォリオは、年間を通して利用されているが、その結果を踏まえつつ、eポートフォリオの大学での活用促進方法について研究を行った。教職履修カルテの必要な資質能力について5段階による自己評価を例にして、アドバイザーの支援環境のための自己評価の検証方法について研究を行った。履修科目のシラバスの到達目標と同指標を紐付けることにより、成績と自己評価を対比させることで自己評価の検証を半自動的した。また学習ポートフォリオから自動生成する教職履修カルテの精度も検証した。

Since 1992, geodetic measurements with GPS have been taken in the southern area of the Matsumoto basin, Nagano Prefecture, central Japan. The Matsumoto basin is located on the Itoigawa-Shizuoka Tectonic Line, which has recently been regarded as a plate boundary between the Eurasian plate and the North American plate. The GPS network of Shinshu University, established along the Itoigawa-Shizuoka Tectonic Line, consists of four observation stations: Shinshu University, Muroyama, Nakayama, and Matsumoto City Hall. The observed data were analyzed using broadcast ephemeris and default meteorological values with the double-difference technique. From the present GPS measurements, it was found that, during the period from 1992 to 2010, the distance between Muroyama and Shinshu University̶about 12km in the east-west direction̶contracted 4 cm (4 ppm). Subsequently, during the three years from 2010 to 2012, the temporal change of the baseline length between Muroyama and Shinshu University showed an extension of 4 cm (4 ppm). In particular, the steep change of the baseline length between them showed an extension of 1.5 cm following the massive Tohoku Earthquake, with a magnitude of 9.0 on March 11, 2011. The distance between Nakayama and Shinshu University̶about 6 km in the north-south direction̶extended 1 cm (2 ppm) during the period from 1992 to 2010. Subsequently, in 2011, it contracted 1.5 cm following the Naganoken Chubu Earthquakes, with magnitudes of 5.4 and 5.1, on June 30, 2011, which struck Matsumoto city. Crustal deformation in the southern area of the Matsumoto basin, Nagano Prefecture during the last twenty years, 1992-2012, is reported and discussed in the present study.

When carp myosin B was incubated at 25°C, SDS-PAGE showed that an addition of a soluble extract from Alaska pollack muscle and surimi greatly stimulated the cross-linking reac-tion of myosin heavy chains. This effect was completely lost on boiling but not with dialysis, suggesting the presence of an active enzyme, transglutaminase, in the extract. It was, therefore, purified from Alaska pollack muscle by DEAE-cellulose chromatography and Sephadex G-200 gel filtration.<br> The partially purified enzyme catalyzed the cross-linking reaction of myosin heavy chain and also showed an activity to incorporate a fluorescent amine, monodansylcadaverine, into acety-lated casein. SDS-PAGE analysis of carp myosin B incubated with the enzyme in the presence of monodansylcadaverine showed several fluorescent bands, including myosin heavy chain and its polymers, with a depletion of fluorescence on actin, tropomyosin and connectin bands. The transglutaminase activity was found at a molecular weight of about 85, 000 by the gel filtration and required Ca²⁺.<br> From these results, the presence of transglutaminase was ascertained in Alaska pollack muscle and surimi. The setting of the salted paste of muscle or surimi may thus involve at least the enzymatic process in gel network formation.
