Web から信頼できる情報を収集するための批判的思考の技能を児童が獲得できるようにする手立てを検討することを目的に,小学校第5学年1学級を対象に批判的思考の技能を学ぶテキストを活用した実践を1ヶ月間実施した.その結果,Web からの情報収集について基礎的な指導を受けている学級においては,①教科等の学習の文脈で児童がWeb から情報を収集する際に,自分の必要とするタイミングでテキストを参照でき,②学習した批判的思考の技能を実際に発揮しながら鍛えることができる学習環境が,手立てとなることが示唆された.

北太平洋および日本近海海水中のストロンチウム濃度を原子吸光光度法によって測定し, Sr/Cl比を算出した.ストロンチウムの平均濃度は8.08mg/kg, 平均Sr/Cl比は0.425mg/kg/‰ であった.Sr/Cl比の海域別, 深度別変動は5%以下であって, 分析誤差を考慮すればSr/Cl比はほとんど一定である. また, ミリポアフイルター (0.22μ) によって分離される粒子状Srは存在しないと考えられる.これ等の結果は大西洋についての最近の報告とは一致しない.

Three specimens of the birdbeak burrfish Cyclichthys orbicularis (Bloch, 1785) and a single specimen of the pelagic porcupine fish Diodon eydouxii Brissout de Barneville, 1846, collected from Usujiri, Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan represent the first records from Hokkaido and northernmost records of both species. Together with Chilomycterus reticulatus (Linnaeus, 1758) and Diodon holocanthus (Linnaeus, 1758), diodontid species reported from Hokkaido. A single specimen, previously reported as a young individual of Ch. reticulatus, was reidentified as Cy. orbicularis.

検査前過程の影響で起こる検査データの偽高値や偽低値について,検査室による適切な評価と指導は適切な治療に貢献できる。偽性高カリウム(K)血症は検査前過程で発生することが多く,偽高値は不適切な治療につながり得る。今回,検査室主体の原因検討,他職種との情報共有および患者指導がK偽高値を解決した症例を経験した。症例は72歳女性,自己免疫性肝炎疑いで入院中であった。主治医よりK値の大きな日差変動(3.9–6.2 mmol/L)と患者病態および使用薬剤状況との乖離について問合せがあった。検査技師が病棟に出向き採血状況を確認すると,患者は過度のハンドグリップを行っており,解除直後のK値は4.9 mmol/Lであった。K高値がハンドグリップの影響か判断するため,完全に掌を開いた状態で採血を行うと,採血管順序に関わらずK値は4.0 mmol/Lで一定であった。以上より,ハンドグリップがK高値の原因と考えられた。この旨を診療録に記載するとともに,主治医,看護師と情報を共有した。さらに,患者本人に採血時の注意点を説明し,自己申告する内容について指導した。指導後はK偽高値を疑う値は示さなかった。正確な検査結果を得るための検査前過程の質の確保には,医療者側の対策だけでなく,患者が自身の体質を認識することも重要である。検査技師による積極的な連携と情報共有体制は,より質の高い医療につながるものと考えられる。

We herein report two cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine-induced immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). A 69-year-old Japanese man developed severe thrombocytopenia after COVID-19 vaccination. He had oral bleeding and hemoptysis but no thrombotic symptoms. He improved rapidly with oral prednisolone therapy. A 34-year-old Japanese woman had generalized purpura after COVID-19 vaccination. Her platelet count improved rapidly after treatment with prednisolone and eltrombopag. The occurrence of two cases of ITP after COVID-19 vaccination at a single institution suggests that there could be more such undiagnosed cases, especially cases of mild secondary ITP.

Boost converters are key components of DC power conversion used for electric mobility and renewable energy applications. In addition to constant voltage control of the output, variable voltage control has been attracting attention in recent years for high-efficiency drive of loads. However, the dynamic characteristics of boost converters exhibit nonlinear and nonminimum phase characteristics. Therefore, the inverse model for feedforward control is unstable, making high-precision voltage trajectory tracking control challenging. This study aims to present a noncausal and nonlinear feedforward controller to compensate for the nonlinear and nonminimum phase characteristics of the boost converter and to achieve perfect tracking control with respect to the output voltage trajectory. This study also establishes a method for identifying circuit parameters and deriving the time length of noncausal control input for practical implementation. The effectiveness of this control method is demonstrated by experiments using a boost converter.

半導体集積回路の回路配置に関する法律を解説した。同法の立法経緯と同法の内容を概説したあと,回路配置利用権侵害が成立するための「実質的同一性」および「アクセス」の2つの要件を検討した。続いて,回路配置利用権侵害訴訟を提起する際に生じる問題点として,差止請求訴訟については,設計変更が頻繁に行われる半導体製品の強制執行は事実上不可能であるという理由により実効性が欠如していることを,損害賠償請求訴訟についても,訴状における請求原因の記載が膨大になることから訴え提起が事実上困難であることをそれぞれ指摘した。最後に,システムLSIの設計資産の保護について展望した。

This article presents the results of research designed to explore the coach dispatch programme which was conducted by the committee of the Japan Gymnastics Association to promote men′s rhythmic gymnastics outside Japan. Although men′s rhythmic gymnastics has been developed for over fifty years in Japan, the existence of this sport has been endangered since around 2001, when global success came to be considered essential for every competitive sport. To bring this sport to more athletes and a wider audience, the committee sent top gymnasts to some countries from 2001 to 2006. However, the details of the programme and the reasons why the programme was terminated in 2006 were not publicly recorded. Thus, this article investigates what the representatives accomplished and what problems and future tasks the coaches recognised to identify the structure of the problems that have occurred in the process of the global diffusion of the sport.    Interview data were analysed according to the principles of the SCAT (Steps for Coding and Theorization) Qualitative Data Analysis Method. Results show that the defects were inherent in their organisation and the programme itself, which were recognised by most of the coaches dispatched, such as lack of close consideration before the programme was set out, and the fact that the coaches were supposed to carry out their mission on a fairly low budget and in an unfamiliar culture, mostly without any support from the committee in Japan. Research indicates that the coach dispatch programme was aborted as a result of a combination of those factors. Additionally, this paper argues that further tasks of the programme suggested by the informants are significantly affected by their understandings of the characteristics of this sport and their philosophy of it.

Argulus nobilis Thiele, 1904 is an ectoparasite of gars (Lepisosteidae) in the U.S.A. Five female specimens of A. nobilis were found in the collection of the Lake Biwa Museum, Japan. This is the first record of the species from Japan and outside the U.S.A. The specimens were collected from an unidentified gar and shortnose gar, Lepisosteus platostomus Rafinesque, 1820. Based on a detailed examination of the specimens, the adult female of A. nobilis is redescribed. The finding from shortnose gar represents a new host record for this parasite. The specimens of A. nobilis were collected in 1992, and it is unknown whether they were taken from gars soon after imported from the U.S.A. or those that had been held in Japan.

橋本脳症の精神・神経症状(脳症)は多彩であるが,臨床的特徴を知ることで診断できる.橋本脳症は,急性脳症,慢性精神病ならびに小脳失調等の病型をとる.鑑別としては,粘液水腫性脳症,脳炎,認知症,脊髄小脳変性症が挙げられる.血清の抗NAE(anti-NH2 terminal of alpha-enolase)抗体の特異度は90%と高いが,感度は約50%程度である.脳波の基礎律動の徐波化や脳SPECT(single photon emission computed tomography)の血流低下が高頻度にみられる.多くの患者はステロイドが奏効する.橋本脳症を念頭に置き,日常診療に潜む患者を見逃さないことが肝要である.

“Ramen” is now different from Chinese noodles originated in mainland China and develop itself into a Japanese food with diversity. On the other hand, back in 1980s, Japanese Ramen had little diversity – basically on the premise of Chinese elaboration - than that of today. Then 1990s showed a gradual change on it when a concept of “Wa” (=Japanese spirit of harmony) was brought into Ramen with more recreational value of food and in that process, it became something emphasizes “Japanese tradition” instead of Chinese elaboration.Here we take a look at this “Ramen transition” in Japan from a viewpoint of both “Chuka” (=Chinese) and “Wa”images with time series analysis.
