平安時代の漢文日記である古記録の中で、宇多・醍醐・村上という三人の天皇によって記録された、三代御記(三代天皇御記)について、他書に引用されて残された逸文の史料的価値を検討する。そして三代御記の逸文である可能性があるものについて、精確な本文を確定し、その訓読文を作成して、テキスト・データベースとしてアーカイブス化することによって、内外の研究者・国民の利用における便宜をはかる。後世、「延喜天暦の治」と賞讃されたこの時期において、三代御記は政事・儀式の慣例典故を徴すべきものとして特に尊重された。本研究は、その価値を甦らせ、正しい平安時代認識を導こうとするものである。

&emsp;We performed comparative investigation in visible-spectrophotometric methods for determining carboxyhemoglobin (CO-Hb) in blood samples. About 58% carboxyhemoglobin-saturation (%CO-Hb) of blood samples (sample H) was prepared from control blood by carbon monoxide bubbling and this sample was diluted to be 4/11 and 3/25 with control human blood to prepare moderate and weak CO-Hb saturated samples (sample M and L, respectively). We measured %CO-Hb of four samples, samples H, M, L and control human blood (relative %CO-Hb were 1.00, 0.36, 0.12 and 0, respectively), by four different methods in five different forensic science laboratories. By summing up the measurement results, the method (1), which is described in &ldquo;Standard method of chemical analysis in poisoning (edited by the Pharmaceutical Society of Japan)&rdquo;, gave %CO-Hb values that reflected the relative %CO-Hb of the four samples. The method (2), which is an isosbestic point method (developed by Department of Forensic Medicine, Kagawa University) gave higher values compared to the expected ones. The method (3), which is performed with a strong alkaline condition, gave higher values for low %CO-Hb samples by Katsumata's formula (method (3)-1). But the values calculated using the formula improved by Forensic Science Laboratory, Hokkaido Prefectural Police H.Q. (method (3)-2), gave the values reflecting the relative %CO-Hb. The method (4), which is also performed with a strong alkaline method, gave values which reflected the relative %CO-Hb when the Fukui's formula was used for calculation. But the formula modified by Aoki (method (4)-2) gave higher values for the blood samples of low %CO-Hb. In comparison of the three methods that gave the values reflecting the relative %CO-Hb, the method (1) and (3)-2 gave similar values but the measured values obtained by method (4)-1 was lower than the values obtained by method (1) and (3)-2. On the other hand, the method (3)-2 and method (1) showed the large dispersion in the measured values among the laboratories, but the dispersion by the method (4)-1 was small.<br>

There are many chemically reactive compounds, including quinone, in living systems and also food. Even after the ingestion of food polyphenols, quinones derived from catechol moieties could form endogenously in the body. Dopaquinone, dopamine quinone, estrogen-derived quinones, tryptamine-4,5-dione, and ubiquinone are examples of an endogenous quinone. These indicate that quinone is ubiquitously formed or present in living systems and food. Quinones can induce a variety of hazardous effects and also could have beneficial physiological effects. This review focuses on the chemical reactivity of quinone toward a biomolecule and its biological action.

Cells are exposed to several kinds of stimulation and some types of mechanical stimulations are known to affect the corresponding cell, but the transduction mechanism has long been a black box. Though there are results that second messengers, like Ca2+, are mechanosensitive, it is unclear which receptor reacts to mechanical stimulation. We used ATDC5, chondrocytes derived from mice, to survey the mechanosensitive receptors against hydrostatic pressure (HP). Fura2 AM was used for imaging the intracellular Ca2+ intensity. It was observed by EM-CCD camera (HAMAMATSU), under the HP ranged from 0 to 40MPa. We found that some cells under high ordered HP, raised their Ca2+ intensity slightly in the period of less than 3 minutes. From this experiment, we showed the possibility that chondrocytes could be mechanosensitive against high HP. For further study, we could use inhibitors for each possible Ca2+ receptors and strive to find the gate of mechanotransduction.

世界で最も高緯度に位置する、日本の壱岐サンゴ礁より採取されたキクメイシ属サンゴ骨中の酸素・炭素同位体比を分析し、中緯度域における高時間分解能古気候アーカイブとしての可能性を検討した。まず試料は莢壁と軸柱の骨格構造別に分析し、その結果を生育時の環境記録と対比・検討を行った。この結果、軸柱と莢壁は形成のタイミングが異なっており、キクメイシ属サンゴの場合、莢壁の方がより正確に環境を記録することがわかった。また本研究で用いたサンゴ骨格は、骨格構造自体にも成長パターンの季節的変化が見られた。これらの成果を基に、さらに長期に渡る骨格分析を行い、これらを周辺の環境と対比・検討したのでその成果を報告する。

Background: Prompt diagnosis and management of atrial tachyarrhythmias (ATAs) during catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF) is still challenging. Methods and Results: In 88 patients undergoing catheter ablation of AF, 128 regular ATAs were induced or converted from AF. The coronary sinus activation time (CSAT) around the mitral annulus (MA) was measured as the difference in activation time between the most proximal and distal poles of the coronary sinus (CS) electrodes. Entrainment pacing was performed around the MA, roof area, or cavotricuspid isthmus (CTI) depending on the CSAT result. Mechanisms of tachycardias included macro-reentry around the MA (perimitral atrial flutter [PM-AFL], n=63), roof-dependent AFL (Roof-AFL, n=14), CTI-dependent AFL (CTI-AFL, n=25), and atrial tachycardia (AT, n=26). When the CSAT was ≥45ms, the MA activation sequence was sequential, either proximal to distal or distal to proximal. When the CSAT was <45ms, the MA activation sequence was mainly non-sequential with converging or diverging patterns. CSAT <45ms was highly sensitive in ruling out PM-AFL from other left ATAs. When combined with PPI data from the MA, roof area or CTI, PM-, Roof-, CTI-AFL and AT was successfully differentiated with a high predictive accuracy. Conclusions: A diagnostic algorithm combining CSAT and entrainment pacing is helpful to assess the mechanism of ATAs during catheter ablation of AF.  (Circ J 2013; 77: 619–625)

本研究では、ヒトの書字運動をヒントにした動的フォント法をもちいて毛筆体文字を生成する問題を考える。特に、一定の太さをもつ文字からかすれ等をもつより自然な毛書体文字を生成するためにニューラル画像対画像変換法であるCycle GANを導入する。その際の学習用のデータとしては、衡山毛筆フォント2273文字の画像データと、それらをZhang-Suen法により細線化をした画像データの集合データを用いる。実験において生成例を示すことで、本手法の有用性を示す。

“Raigōajarikaisoden” is a story in which Shimizu no kanja Yoshitaka seeks revenge on Minamoto no Yoritomo by practicing magic using rats based on Raigōajari’s consuming grudge. According to previous studies, this story consists of two stories of vengeance. One is a story about Yoshitaka who seeks revenge on Minamoto no Yoritomo for his father Kiso no Yoshinaka. The other is a story about Nekoma Shintarō Mitsuzane who seeks revenge on Kiso no Yoshinaka and Yoshinaka’s elder son Yoshitaka for his elder brother Nekoma no chūnagon Mitsutaka. Karaito, who is the wife of Yoshinaka’s retainer Tezuka no Tarō Mitsumori and also Yoshitaka’s nanny, is praised as ‘retsujo (an outstanding woman)” in Ichiyōken Gyokuzan’s “Gedaikagami” and Tamenaga Shunsui’s “Zōho Gedaikagami”. Both writers consider “Raigōajarikaisoden” as the story which describes Karaito’s loyalty and mental suffering. The author Takizawa Bakin gives a low valuation to “Raigōajarikaisoden” in “Chosakudō kyūsaku ryakujihyō tekiyō” (owned by Sekisui Museum) which is a collection of his critical essays on his own works. It seems that this low valuation is caused by his regret of not being able to give the faithful woman Karaito’s death any merits. However, both Ichiyōken Gyokuzan and Tamenaga Shunsui mention Karaito’s story. It is clear that Karaito is one of the main characters in “Raigōajarikaisoden” and her revenge on Yoritomo should be regarded as the third story of vengeance which follows the above-mentioned two stories. The otogizōshi “Karaitozōshi” is the story about Karaito’s daughter Manju no hime’s filial piety. Although “Raigōajarikaisoden” is based on “Karaitozōshi”, Bakin let appear Karaito as Mitsumori’s wife. Karaito is Mitsumori’s daughter in “Karaitozōshi”. As Karaito appears as Mitsumori’s wife in “Raigōajarikaisoden”, Yoritomo is changed from her father’s revenge to her husband’s revenge and as such the tale describes Karaito’s ‘tei (chastity)’. Karaito’s ‘kō (filial duty)’ towards her father is one of important virtues in “Karaitozōshi”. Her ‘chū (loyalty)’ to Yoshinaka and Yoshitaka and her ‘tei (chastity)’ to her husband Mitsumori become important virtues in “Raigōajarikaisoden”. In this presentation, I am going to explain that Karaito’s story works as the third story of vengeance besides stories of Yoshitaka and Mitsuzane’s vengeance and I would like to point out how Karaito’s chast ity is especially emphasized in “Raigōajarikaisoden”.

広告の意匠性と2次元デジタルコード(以下,コードと略す)を用いた情報伝達の容易性とを両立させることを目的として,コード撮影のために行う利用者の接近行動を距離センサにより検出することにより,コードを適応的に拡大表示する手法を提案する.まず,基礎実験として,実験1では,コードの拡大率とズーム時間の変化に対する利用者の印象変化を調査した.その結果,利用者が移動中の状態から一辺20cm程度の取得容易なコードサイズにズームアップした状態で停止する場合を想定すると,ズーム時間を1秒前後に設定すればよいことが明らかとなった.次に,実験2では,距離センサによるフィードバックを行ったプロトタイプを使用し,QRコード利用の未経験者4名を含む被験者14名による評価実験を行った.従来手法と提案手法との比較を行った結果,(1) 提案手法では平均情報取得時間が約1.8秒短縮される,(2) 提案手法では約1.5倍遠い位置での取得が可能となる,(3) 全被験者の86%(QRコード利用の経験者では100%)が提案手法を好む,という結果が得られ,本手法の有効性が確認された.

紙の寸法安定性をオンラインで予測する計測システム (ウェッブ収縮率計) を開発した。今回開発したシステムは, エッジセンサーとして非接触型のレーザー外径測定器を移動ステージ上に配置した, 紙幅計測ユニット2組より構成されている。この2組のユニットを抄紙機の乾燥工程前後に取付けることにより, 収縮前後の紙幅から製紙工程におけるウェッブ収縮率を計測できる。さらにウェッブ収縮率と製品の浸水伸度や操業条件との関係を調査して以下の知見を得た。<BR>抄紙条件 (原料処方, 濾水度, J/W 比等) が種々異なる製品の浸水伸度 (寸法安定性) とプレドライヤー前からアフタードライヤー後までのウェッブ収縮率に高い相関関係が認められた。したがって, この相関関係を用いたウェッブ収縮率のオンライン計測により, 製品の寸法安定性を抄造段階で予測できる。<BR>抄紙機上において, ドローにより歪み率を1%増加させると, ウェッブ収縮率はポアソン比的な効果により約0.3%増加した。このドローによる収縮は, ワイヤー~ウェットプレス間の紙中水分80%付近では製品の寸法安定性にほとんど影響しないが, サイズプレス~アフタードライヤー間の紙中水分40%付近では寸法安定性を悪化させた。<BR>ドローを増加して, 歪み率を大きくすると, CDの剛度は低下した。また, ワイヤー~ウェットプレス間よりサイズプレス~アフタードライヤー間の方がドローの増加に対する剛度低下の割合が大きかった。<BR>J/W 比の変更により, 繊維をより縦配向にすることでウェッブ収縮率が増加し, 浸水伸度の悪化とCD剛度の低下が認められた。<BR>また操業中のオンライン計測事例として, J/W 比やサイズプレス液付着量の変化に伴う紙幅やウェッブ収縮率の変化挙動を紹介する。
