In the Ancien Regime period of France, etiquette demanded appropriate gestures involving hats and it is assumed that these gestures contained the innermost secrets and intentions of manners of that period. Using a dance manual as the basis of the study, this paper explains in detail etiquette involving hats and considers its meaning. Dance was considered a means of acquiring graceful comportment and dance manuals were one way of teaching young aristocrats basic manners in comportment in their daily life. In particular, the movement and position of the hands and feet when saluting with a hat were explained in detail, and skill in performing appropriate salutations in accordance with daily circumstances required considerable practice. These gestures of aristocrats were held in high regard because they were considered expressions of grace. The meaning of grace in those days referred to the grace of God, a spiritual quality that should naturally flow from within a person in the form of elegant motions as an external expression of the ideal of unity of a person's physical and spiritual being. Therefore, the aristocracy\ went to great efforts to make themselves stand out visibly as special beings through graceful gestures which required training of both body and mind.

ナチズムのユダヤ人迫害を逃れ、アメリカに渡り、生涯をアメリカで過ごしたハンナ・アーレントの思考は、社会的なものと政治的なものとを分け、後者の復権こそがナチズムのような社会現象を防ぐとみる。したがって、リトルロックの公立校での黒人・白人共学実施をめぐっての暴動のなかで、アーレントは教育という社会的な場に権力がはいって共学を実施しようとすると非難し、分離教育を主張した。しかし、その論理には第三の要素「身体」が大きく作用していたことを追う。

オープンサイエンス、研究データ管理の視点から、イオンビーム科学・工学における巨大原子座標を中心とした各種データを扱うための共通基盤の研究を行った。長年の歴史を持つ古典的なイオン衝突シミュレーションの互換性の維持と利便性の向上のため、入出力データに対するプリ・ポストプロセスの開発を行った。また、従来と単原子イオンビームとは異なるクラスターイオンの衝突シミュレーションの事例を収集、整理し、クラスターイオン衝突における解析手法を提示した。

The purpose of this study was to confirm the results on sex differences of same-sex friendship (SSF) and to examine the effects of sex-role type on SSF through emotional self-disclosure and the hope of SSF. Emotional self-disclosure consisted of 9 states of the emotion (as a result of factor analysis, 7 emotions), and the hopes of SSF consisted of 10 contents. Subjects were 246 (92 male and 154 female) undergraduates. Major findings were as follows: 1. Female self-disclosed the causes of the emotion more than male when they were in the state of fear and shame, depression and anxiety, happiness, and calmness. 2. Male hoped companionship of SSF and female hoped interdependence and self-disclosure. 3. Male in high femininity (HF) revealed more self- disclosure than male in low femininity (LF) except in the state of calmness. Male in high masuculinity (HM) hoped more companionship of SSF than male in low masuculinity (LM). 4. Female in HF revealed more self-disclosure than female in LF in the state of depression and anxiety, calmness, and anger. Female in HM revealed less self-disclosure than female in LM in the state of fear and shame, and depression and anxiety. Female in HM hoped more admiration, less cooperation, less self-disclosure, and less companionship than female in LM. Female in HF hoped more cooperation, more sensitivity, more self-disclosure, less information, and less authenticity than female in LF. These findings were discussed in terms of the sex differences of socialization (sex role expectation).

気管支鏡を介して, 気管支内に生理食塩水を注入し, 肺胞や末梢気道レベルを洗浄し, その回収液の細胞成分や液性成分を解析する方法で, 反復して施行することも可能である. 1970年代に開発され, 1980年代にびまん性肺疾患に対する有用性が確立された. 1990年代にはBALのガイドラインが示され, 標準化がなされるようになってきている. 現在, びまん性肺疾患の診断, 病態解析などに広く用いられている. 通常の気管支鏡と同様の前処置を行い, 気管支鏡を楔入し, そのチャンネルを通して生理食塩水を通常, シリンジで50mlを用手的に3回注入, 回収する. 回収時には気管支の虚脱が起こらないように陰圧は強くかけすぎない. 洗浄部位はびまん性肺疾患では中葉や舌区の区域支または亜区域支を選択することが多い. 病変が限局しているときは病変部を選択することもあるが, 回収率が不良になる可能性がある. 洗浄部位の記載は忘れずに行う. BAL施行中の咳嗽は回収率を低下させ, またcontact bleedingによる血液混入は結果の解釈に影響するので, 十分麻酔して咳嗽を防止する.
