ベンゾジアゼン系薬物(BZD)は,化学構造上本来のBZDだけでなく,臨床的にはしばしばチエノジアゼピンも含めて扱うことがある.また非BZDとされる薬物でもBZDと同様に γ-アミノ酪酸(GABA)A受容体に結合して,抗けいれん,催眠鎮静,筋弛緩などの作用を持つ,薬理学的BZD類似薬がある.これらの薬剤による視覚系,神経眼科的副作用は意外と知られていないので,本稿では3項に分けてレビューした.すなわち1)視覚系副作用,2)薬剤性眼瞼けいれん,3)離脱症候群である. 眼科臨床においては,急性狭隅角緑内障における抗コリン作用は常に問題にされるが,重要度も頻度も高いと思われる神経眼科的副作用には関心が低く,服薬歴を聴取する機会は少なかったと思われる.これらの薬剤は非常に種類が多く,特に日本では世界の中でも飛びぬけて多用,乱用されているので,こうした副作用に留意することが重要である.

We discovered that Candida floricola ZM1502 is capable of selectively producing the promising hydrophilic biosurfactants, acid-form sophorolipids (SLs), from glycerol. However, productivity was very low (approximately 3.5 g L–1) under the initial culture conditions. Here, we describe the design of culture medium for abundant production of acid-form SLs by C. floricola ZM1502 using waste glycerol and hydrophobic substrates in order to develop a method for SL production and disposal of waste glycerol produced by oleo-chemical industries. Urea provided the best nitrogen source for acid-form SL production from glycerol among four nitrogen sources tested [urea, NaNO3, NH4NO3, and (NH4)2SO4]. Among carbon sources we compared, hydrophobic substrates (soybean oil and oleic acid) led to productivities of approximately 20 g L–1, indicating that hydrophobic substrates provided fatty acid moieties for SL production. Addition of olive oil and oleic acid to waste glycerol enhanced acid-form SL production to 42.1 ± 0.9 and 37.5 ± 3.4 g L–1, respectively. To develop a potential industrial process, we explored other suitable hydrophobic substrates for SL production, which were obtained on site from oleo-chemical industries. Alkyl C18 esters (Pastell M-182), along with waste glycerol, increased acid-form SL production to 48.0 ± 3.4 g L–1 over a 7-d period. Furthermore, we demonstrated abundant production of acidic SLs at the mini-jar fermenter scale, obtaining 169 g L–1 over 180 h using a fed-batch cultivation technique. Efficient acid-form SL production by C. floricola could have a great impact on the development of bio-industrial processes using waste glycerol as a substrate.

最近の日本語韻律研究を概観し, この成果から音韻発達の研究にどのような知見・示唆が得られるか検討する.具体的には, 音節・音節量・アクセント・モーラ・イントネーションといった韻律現象の構造を, (i) ローマン・ヤコブソンが提唱した有標性理論 (有標・無標の考え方) と, (ii) 大人の文法・子供の言語獲得・失語症の3つの現象間の相関関係という観点から考察する.

Histoanato amical structure of the vocal muscles of human adults was investigated and the sensory nerve endings in the vocal muscle were demonstrated by using various staining techniques.According to Goerttler (1950), medial part of the vocal cord consists of two parts, namely, pars thyreovocalis and pars aryvocalis. However, we could not find the muscle fibres which ran from the thyroid cartilage to the vocal ligament. Pars aryvocalis could be divided into the anterior and the posterior parts. The former beginning from the Proc. vocalis of the arytenoid cartilage attached to anterior half of the vocal ligament. The latter ran between middle part of the arytenoid cartilage, and posterior half of the vocal ligament. These two parts crossed each other like a network.Three types of the centripetal nerve endings in the vocal muscle were identified with the modified Bielschowsky's silber impregnation.The nerve belonging to the first type ended in a simple small knob. The nerve of the second type had spiral structure which wound about the muscle fibre like a tendril, and it seemed to be resembled to a muscle spindle, but it was not a muscle spindle. It was not enclosed with a capsule and did not contain intrafusal muscle fibres. The typical muscle spindles were not found in the human vocal muscle. The nerve belonging to the third type consisted of several nerve fibres which ran pararell each other like an ivy.The great majority of these endings were distributed in the middle one-third of the vocal cords. No communicative fibres between these endings and the endformation of the autonomic nervous system were recognized. The nature and significance of these stuctures were discussed.

古代ギリシア快楽主義の検討を通じ,特に,原子論者デモクリトスの快楽主義が一般的解釈に反し倫理的理論として肯定的に評価できること,同じ快楽主義のキュレネ派との相違点が顕著であるエピクロスの規範的倫理学説が,個人の閉じた生での幸福の実現を目標にしているかぎりで公的倫理の基礎を与えない点で限界を有すること,そして,快楽と人間とが親和的であるという快楽主義的洞察が真理であるからには,快楽主義が個人倫理の源泉を考える上で依然として有効性をもっていることを考察した。

The purpose of this study is to consider the influence of traditional industry on a spatial transformation in a modern city. The case of this study is Noda Shoyu Company Limited, which is the predecessor of Kikkoman Corporation. Industrial foundation was essential for the sake of traditional industry's development. At first, however, owners of traditional industry only had their own plants. Afterwards, large-scale infrastructure and modern industrial equipment were introduced by the Noda-shoyu guild. Thereafter as the second stage of their progress, those owners established Noda Shoyu Company limited. That company tidied up a loop road and improved suburbia. It caused the spatial transformation of Noda City.
