This paper proposes a general theory for kinematics and dynamics of wheeled mobile robots (WMRs) . This study has two features: 1) The proposed method can deal with various WMR system ranging from typical three or four-wheeled mobile robot to multi-WMR systems where multiple WMRs are connected by joints. A WMR is regarded as a planar linkage mechanism with several ends: wheels correspond to the ends. Generally, a WMR system has active joints such as steering axis, passive joints such as casters and couplers, and driven/non-driven wheels. A model of WMR system called tree structure link covering these configurations is proposed. 2) This theory deals with kinematics and dynamics of WMR including slip of wheels. WMR dynamics is derived regarding frictional force between wheels and the ground as an external force which is a function of the slip speed. When no slip is assumed in wheels, WMR's motion is expressed by kinematics. In this manner, the proposed method is applied systematically on the kinematics when slip can be neglected and the dynamics when slip exists. Furthermore, velocity input dynamics is proposed which gives the motion of WMR when the velocity commands are inputs to active joints and wheels under the condition that wheels slip.

Reversible dynamics is well-known to obey variational principles based on the action being the time integral of a Lagrangian with time-reversal symmetry. The purpose of the present paper is to find dissipative Lagrangians giving variational principles in dissipative dynamics with broken time-reversal symmetry. Conceptually the present theory insists on new Least Dissipation & Work Principles (LDWP) based on variational integrals weighted in time, in order to unify variational principles of physics including irreversible processes on many-body systems. This is also closely related to the present author’s theory of entropy production in Kubo’s scheme of transport phenomena and all nonlinear responses beyond. Through these investigations, we can understand the meaning (as a variational integral) of the action of reversible dynamics.

近年,Twitterをはじめとした手軽でリアルタイム性やコミュニケーション性を重視したSNSが非常に流行してきている.また,こういったサービスは,ケータイ端末,特にスマートフォンからの利用と相性が良く,スマートフォン利用者の増加と共に,スマートフォンからTwitterを利用するユーザが増加してきている.この傾向を受けて,視覚障害者の中でもスマートフォンからTwitterを利用するユーザが出てきており,今後そういったユーザが増加していく可能性が高いと考えられる.だが,一般のユーザにとってもそうであるが,特に視覚障害者にとってスマートフォンからのTwitterの利用は,未だ不便な点が多い.そこで本研究では,スマートフォンのジェスチャー操作と音声入出力を利用して,誰でも簡単かつ手軽に利用できるTwitterシステムVoiTwiの提案,試作を行った.

コードクローンとは,ソースコード中に存在する互いに一致,もしくは類似したコード片を指す.コードクローンの存在は,ソフトウェアの開発および保守に悪影響を与える恐れがあるといわれている.本稿では,コードクローンを取り除くためのリファクタリング方法と近年の研究成果について紹介する.

温帯性蚊の生活史にもとづく季節的消長を表現するようなモデルとして、冬季に成虫休眠の生活史特性をもつイエカ(Culex pipiens)と卵休眠をするヒトスジシマカ(Aedes albopictus)それぞれの個体群動態モデルを開発した。本研究では東京・新宿区で10年以上にわたって採取されたデータを活用し、個体群動態モデルのパラメーター推定を行った。これまでは休眠に関して日長感受性をモデルに組み込んでいたが、本年度は温度感受性もモデルに組み込むことにより、現在気候下での季節的消長について再現性を高めることに成功した。本研究で開発した個体群動態モデルは、蚊の発育段階を考慮しており、幼虫や蛹などの水中生活段階において降水による影響を組み込むことができる。観測データに合わせてモデルを選択したところ、降水の影響を含まない場合よりも影響を組み込んだ場合の方が再現性は高かった。このモデルを用い、MIROC5を用いて2081年から2099年における将来気候下でのイエカ・ヒトスジシマカの個体群動態をシミュレートしたところ、種によって挙動が異なっていた。ヒトスジシマカはこれまで懸念されていたように、温室効果化ガス排出が多いシナリオ(RCP8.5)において活動期の個体数増加の傾向が見られた。ただし、排出が少ないシナリオ(RCP2.6)においては1991年から2009年までの過去の個体群動態を再現した場合と大きな差はなかった。これに対し、イエカは排出シナリオにかかわらず、活動期の個体数が減少することが示された。蚊の種によって媒介する感染症がことなり、イエカは日本脳炎、ヒトスジシマカはデング熱やジカ熱などを媒介するため、蚊の種類に応じた感染症対策が必要となる。本研究は気候変動によって蚊媒介性の感染症のリスクについて、蚊の個体群動態モデルの開発を通して時間解像度が高い知見を提供することができた。

「構成」はバウハウスに留学した水谷武彦がドイツ語の「Gestaltung」を翻訳した言葉である。構成教育は、戦前は普通教育の中に普及していたが、デザイン教育のための基礎および専門教育としては、戦後に発展をとげた。桑沢デザイン研究所では、当初から構成を基盤とするデザイン教育を行っていたことが教育課程などから明らかになった。とりわけ初期には、勝見勝と高橋正人が、研究所のデザイン教育に貢献していた。勝見はハーバート・リードとミューズ教育という幅広い造形概念の上に、バウハウスを起源とするデザイン理論を展開した。高橋は、デザイン教育における「基礎」として、美学・心理学・構成理論という純粋研究、人間工学・コミュニケーション理論のような基礎工学的研究、設計製作・印刷・写真などのような実際技術とこれに伴う技術理論という三領域を挙げ、「構成理論」は「構成の原理」という純粋研究を対象とすることを明確にした。「構成の原理」には、「造形の要素(造形言語)」と「造形の秩序(造形文法)」があり、造形の要素は形、色、材料、テクスチェア、光、運動が、造形の秩序にはリズムやコンポジションなどが含まれる。高橋は構成をデザインの基礎および専門教育と位置づけ、構成の原理の研究と教育を通じて、構成をより広くより高次元、すなわち構成学へと導いた。

Elves and goblins in J. K. Rowling's "Harry Potter" books seem to be rather different from their traditional images we see in British folktales. Rowling's elves are pathetic, hardly able to act for their own sake, delighted only when they are treated well by witches and wizards. On the other hand, goblins are clever and assertive, and always stick to their goals. In Harry's last battle with Voldemort told in the seventh book, a goblin, Griphook, plays a crucial part. It seems that in Rowling's works goblins are given more positive roles than elves, which is not the case in most traditional folktales. However, learning to be kind to house-elves is also very important for Harry, because house-elves work best for those who are kind to them, and acquiring their help means a lot in the battles Harry fights. In the seventh book, Harry digs a grave for Dobby, the house-elf who has died to save him. Harry does this just for Dobby's memory, not to get help from house-elves. This selfless service of Harry's moves Griphook, usually a stubborn and defiant goblin, and he agrees to join forces with Harry in his task to defeat Voldemort. Elves and Goblins described in Rowling's works show that just being kind can change the world.

In his extensive research of over 40 years concerning children who claim to have "past-life memories," the late Ian Stevenson of the University of Virginia collected more than 2,500 cases from all over the world including India, Thai, Burma, Lebanon, Turkey, Sri Lanka, the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, Portugal, Hungary, Island, Finland, Canada, and the US. Inspired by his work, a number of researchers have been working on similar cases worldwide. However, no case has been reported from Japan so far, which is regrettable in view of the fact that the case of Katsugoro, a boy from the early 19th century Japan was one of the strong cases that inspired Ian Stevenson to work on the phenomena. In this paper I will report a case of a Japanese child with "past-life memories" as a boy who lived in Edinburgh, Scotland. His remarks are basically compatible with a possible life in Edinburgh, and some of them are quite striking. Since the "past-life personalities" has not been successfully identified, the present case is regarded as unsolved. However, the present paper shows the existence of a clear Case of Reincarnation Type (CORT) in Japan and suggests the necessity of looking at a certain type of children from a different angle than traditional ones with the diagnosis as autism spectrum disorders.

本研究では、特別支援学級の担任教師や発達障害児の母親にインタビューを行い、「疑問」の視点を踏まえながら告知やカミングアウトがどのような必要性や内容で行われているのかなどの実態を調査し、その傾向や、さらには現状における課題を明らかにしていくことを目的とする。The purpose of the present study was to investigate how to inform a student with developmental disabilities and his/her classmates about his/her diagnosis, disabilities and characteristics of disabilities. 5 classroom teachers of student with special needs and 10 mothers, who have children with developmental disabilities, were interviewed. In the interview, all mothers answered that they told their own children some explanation about his/her characteristics of disabilities. And the purposes was to tell their children about their disabilities and help them accept special supports for him/her, and also to response children's questions and help him/her realize about his/her characteristics of disabilities. Only one case, the student with developmental disabilities was informed his diagnosis. From these interview, it is considered to be difficult to inform self about his/her diagnosis. About informing classmates who have a friend's disabilities, and other cases that classmates were not informed at all. In the all cases that classmates were informed, the teachers didn't inform about the student's diagnosis to his/her classmates. They informed about only characteristics of the student with developmental disabilities. And the purpose of informing to classmates was to solve or prevent troubles between the student and classmates.
