本研究では、FPSにおけるプレイヤーのスキルを判断する新たな基準を提案する。上級者・初級者のプレイ動画を調査し、プレイスキルの差が検出できる要素を発見した。その要素で実際にプレイスキルの判別ができるか検証するため、制作したゲームに判別手法を組み込み、実験を行った。結果、提案した6種類の要素は一定の精度でプレイヤースキルの判定が可能であることがわかった。

現在ARの研究においては、ビジョンベースARが主流となっている.しかしビジョンベースARの位置合わせ手法は,視点の急激な移動に弱く,動的な環境下での使用に適していない.そのためビジョンベースARは,仮想生物のような動き回る仮想画像の合成は不得意である.本研究では視点の移動に着目し,視点の移動に影響を受けにくいセンサベースARを用いることによって,動き回る仮想生物画像の合成を得意とするアクティブARを実現させる位置合わせ技術を提案する.アクティブARは,合成する仮想画像とユーザの視点が一定空間内で自由に移動でき,かつ,視点の移動に伴う背景の変化に対応可能なARである.

白癬の主要病原菌であるTrichophyton rubrum (14菌株) およびTrichophyton mentagrophytes (14菌株) に対するルリコナゾールの最小発育阻止濃度 (MIC) および最小殺真菌濃度 (MFC) を外用抗真菌薬 6 剤 (ラノコナゾール, ビホナゾール, エフィナコナゾール, 塩酸テルビナフィン, 塩酸ナフチフィンおよびリラナフタート) におけるそれぞれの濃度と比較した. T. rubrumおよびT. mentagrophytesに対するルリコナゾールのMIC90 はともに0.00098 μg/mlとなり,MFC90 においても,ともに0.0078 μg/mlとなり,試験薬剤のなかで最も強い抗真菌活性を示した.静真菌的に作用するとされるアゾール系薬剤であるビホナゾールの MFC/MIC ratioはT. rubrumで≧48.3, T. mentagrophytesでは≧19.6であり, エフィナコナゾールでも71.4および26.9であった. しかし, ルリコナゾール (13.4および6.1) およびラノコナゾール (11.1および5.0) は, 殺真菌的に作用するとされるテルビナフィン (8.0および12.6), ナフチフィン (9.1および8.6) およびリラナフタート (15.4および11.4) と同程度の MFC/MIC ratioであった. このことからルリコナゾールおよびラノコナゾールは両菌種に対して殺真菌的作用も有することが示唆された. 本研究において, ルリコナゾールは日本および米国で市販されている主要外用抗真菌薬のなかで白癬菌に対して最も強力な抗真菌活性を示し, 白癬の治療に際しての最も有効な薬剤の1つであると考えられた.

平成8年3月22日よりFM文字多重放送が開始された。NHK-FM文字多重放送では、DARC(DATA RADIO CHANNEL)方式により文字や図形を副搬送波(76KHz)に多重し、放送している。(図1参照))FM多重放送の性質として、マルチパス下で音声信号が大きい場合ステレオ音声信号の(L-R)信号から多重信号への妨害が大きくなることが上げられる。また(L-R)信号が小さい時には、多重信号から(L-R)信号への妨害が検知されやすくなる。このためDARC方式では(L-R)信号の大きさに応じて、多重信号の振幅を変化させるディジタル変調方式としてL-MSK(Level Controlled Minimum Shift Keying)を用い、その妨害の軽減が図れている。今回、兵庫県内全FM局(26局)のエリアでFM文字多重放送のフィールド受信調査を行い、放送波中継における多重信号の特性劣化状況をまとめたので報告する。

最近でこそ、いくらか冷めてきたが、株式ブームに沸く米国ではここ数年「インフレ・失業なき成長は、情報技術(IT)革命による持続的な生産性向上によって裏付けられている」という、できすぎたような話がまかり通ってきた。一方、「ニューエコノミーは幻だ」という意見も根強い。 この議論を、今日の経済学を築いた賢人たちはどう考えているのであろうか。

For the purpose of finding out a strain which has stronger cytolytic activity on Ehrlich ascites carcinoma cells, the authors isolated 113 strains of Bacillus natto from straws, which were collected at various areas in Japan, and measured the cytolytic activities by cylinder plate method. As the results, the authors found out a strain of Bacillus natto (tentatively called KMD 2311) which has the strongest cytolytic activity in the 113 strains. There were at least two kind of cytolytic substances on Ehrlich ascites carcinoma cells in the culture medium of Bacillus natto KMD 2311. One was extracted with AcOEt from the culture medium, which constitute approximately 20% of the cytolytic activity in the culture medium and it was stable. This cytolytic substance was purified and colorless crystalline compound (mp 247-249°) was obtained by recrystallization from acetone-petr. ether. Chemical structure of this compound was examined by elementary analysis, infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance, and mass spectroscopy and study of decomposed products. As the results, this compound was proved to be identical with surfactin (mp 140°), which was obtained from culture medium of Bacillus subtilis by Kakinuma, et al. and from Bacillus natto KMD 1126 by the authors. Melting point of this compound (mp 249°) was higher about 100° than that of surfactin (mp 140°), but high mp compound was obtained from surfactin by recrystallization from acetone-petr. ether. From these results, it was indicated that the cytolytic substance was identified with surfactin and dimorphic.

Compatibility tests on FM multiplex broadcasting for mobile reception have been done. Causes which generate interference in receivers have been unveiled. First, the characteristics of various kind of receivers have been measured multiplexing MSK signals with the existing sound signals. Second, the interference which is caused by the multiplexed signals under multipath propagation have been measured in indoor tests. Third, after the end of daily FM programs, the test signals multiplexed by L-MSK method have been broadcasted from NHK FM Tokyo (82.5MHz) station. The audio impairment by L-MSK signals has been surveyed by questionnaire. The minimum injection level of L-MSK has been decided four percentage as results of detail analyses.

Thirty-seven specimens of wild boar sera were collected from August 2016 to March 2018 in Ishikawa prefecture, Japan. Thirty-two specimens (86.5%) were positive for neutralizing antibodies against Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV). Eight specimens (21.6%) were positive for IgM antibodies against JEV. One sample was obtained from a wild boar captured in February during the winter season. Four other serum specimens obtained during the winter season were positive using a JEV gene-specific PCR assay. Based on IgM and PCR assays, wild boars were infected with JEV during the winter season, suggesting that the prevalence of JEV antibodies in wild boars in Ishikawa is high and JEV activity is possible during winter in this region. In addition, wild boars may play an important role in the infection cycle of JEV.

論文This paper looks at student reactions to the use of iPads and eBooks both in and out of the classroom at a women's university in the west of Japan. The paper starts by examining the capabilities of iPads and eBooks. The paper then explains the construction of a survey given to first and second year students about their use of iPads and eBooks and examines some of the results of the survey. The survey shows that student reactions to iPads and eBooks are quite positive but that there are some discrepancies between different groups of students in the use of iPads. The conclusion briefly suggests possible explanations and offers solutions.本研究は、授業内外で積極的にiPad やeBook の活用を実践している西日本にある女子大学において、学生がiPad やeBook にどのような反応を示しているかを調査・検証するものである。まず、iPad やeBook の可能性を客観的に考察し、次に、大学1 年生および2 年生を対象として実施したアンケート調査について説明し、最後にその調査結果について述べる。調査の結果、対象となった学生達はiPad やeBook についてかなりポジティブな反応を示すが、その反応はいくつかの異なるグループに分かれることが明らかになった。本稿ではその反応の違いをもたらしている要因は何かを考察し、解決法を探る。

A number of data on gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) in singleton pregnancy is available, however, little is known about the glycemic characteristics of twin pregnancy with GDM. The aim of this study was to compare the severity of dysglycemia between twin and singleton pregnancies with GDM (T-GDM and S-GDM). We retrospectively analyzed pregnancies with GDM defined by the Japan Diabetes Society criteria (T-GDM, n = 20; S-GDM, n = 451) in our hospital. During the study period, women with GDM underwent self-monitoring of blood glucose measurements as well as dietary management. Insulin treatment was initiated when dietary treatment did not achieve the glycemic goal. The glycemic and metabolic characteristics were compared between T-GDM and S-GDM, as follows: gestational week at the diagnosis of GDM, 75 g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) results, HbA1c, insulin secretion (i.e. insulinogenic index [IGI] and Insulin Secretion-Sensitivity Index-2 [ISSI-2]), and insulin requirement before delivery. The rate of one abnormal OGTT value in T-GDM was similar to that in S-GDM (60% vs. 71%). There were no significant differences in gestational week and levels of HbA1c at diagnosis, levels of IGI and ISSI-2 between T-GDM and S-GDM (median, 20 weeks vs. 17 weeks, 5.0% vs. 5.2%, 0.58 vs. 0.71, 1.7 vs. 1.8, respectively). The rate of insulin treatment and a median dosage of insulin needed before delivery was comparable between the two groups (T-GDM vs. S-GDM: 45% vs. 32% and 14 vs. 13 unit/day). Our data suggested that the severity of dysglycemia in T-GDM was similar to that in S-GDM during pregnancy.

本研究の目的は、都市景観要素としての屋外広告物デザインに求められる条件を探り、その現状の特徴を明らかにすることである。そのために、アジア都市の東京・ソウル・シンガポール・香港の中心商業地域を対象に、現在施行されている屋外広告物関連の法律や条例、ガイドラインなど及び広告物実態の現地調査を行った。その結果、屋外広告物に求められる条件として「秩序」「自由・個性的な表現」「調和」「アイデンティティ」のキーワードが取りあげられた。東京の銀座では「調和」「自由・個性的な表現」の方が高く求められ、ソウル鐘路通りでは「秩序」「調和」「アイデンティティ」が他の都市に比べ高く求められるが、「自由・個性的な表現」は相対的に低い現状の特徴が分かった。シンガポールは4つのキーワードがバランスを取っている特徴の事例としてあげられる。香港の九龍では「自由・個性的な表現」の方が他の都市に比べてももっとも高く求められ、相対的に「調和」の方はもっとも低い現状の特徴が分かった。
